Only if you want to upgrade to a ROM with a differend CID, for instance all availible WM6 ROM's.

Go to bootloader mode by pressing camera+reset buttons... Then you should be able to upgrade to WM6 ROM and continue with the unlocking process.
Or reinstall WM5 first then do the unlocking process again..
My phone also went on black screen but I managed to go to bootloader mode.
And you can try to put out your micro SD card. So now you can go into the bootloader situation and flash WM 6. Succes!

I installed a ROM which I retrieved from this website, the first one (http://uploaded.de/?id=j2pv51 - ROM ver 2.20) did work fine but I could not instal TomTom 6 and then I tried the other version (http://uploaded.de/?id=430xr4 - HTC__001 - version with spl,ipl and etc) from tupisdin (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=314672) and I could install TomTom but it seems I cannot get a GPS signal? Anyone familiar with this issue?

That's because I think you still have the patched radio on your device.
Did you complete Step 3 from Olipro's Unlocker?
Plus, did you look on which COM port and which Baud rate your GPS works?
Default = COM4 and Baud = 4800
Dutch: Kies gewoon een "andere bekabelde GPS-apparaat", daarna "4800" en daarna COM4. Dat is de poort die jouw GPS-apparaat gebruikt, tenzij je de instellingen hebt gewijzigd. En kom niet aan met TomTom versie 6.201.

T-Mobile doesn't CID unlock your device...
But, you can check if it's CID unlocked by downloading a rom in the XDA-Developers FTP and update your device with it.

the progress of the upgrade wrk's good once it finished i got an .NET framework
error message saying : .net error acces dinied to PATH:\ROMUpgradeUt.exe
now my tytn is unusable still only acces to the multicolor screen by pressing off bonton + ok+ reset
can some one give me help ot tel me if it's time for me to hang my self ?

You need to upgrade .NET on the PC to at least .NET 2.0. You can get it from M$ website. A search on .NET probably would have fond that answer for you.

No reason to despair. You can put one of teh other WM6 ROM's - des, dutty, Black, Custel, LVSW, there are many - I personally recommend Black.
Get your .NET sorted and I am sure your phone will be fine. Good luck.

the upgrade work good but sitill having the splash screen
and now i have 1.11 spl
i tride the black rom but no way to put install it in my the tytn
still have connecion erro after a night passing install .net and all stuff on my zindoze no way to bring back my phone !

I am trying to flash my JasJam with 2.60 but nothing happen.
may be I am doing something wrong, but I am quite sure I did everything
following the suggestion given.
Below the actual configuration and description about what is happening:
Mobile: JasJam I-mate
Rom: 1.31.305.2
Rom date: 09/08/06
Radio V.: 1.16.00.00
Protocol V.:32.53.7018.01H
Ext.Rom: 1.31.304.101
Model: HERM100
In the 3 colour screen (bootloader):
1st line: HERM100
1PL-SSPL by des
2nd line: HERM100
spl - 1.07 des (changing sometime in 1.09 when trying to flash)
I tried to flash and update my jasjam many time without any results.
I am able only to get at 3 colour screen (always with above line-info), after
that, and only with olipro 2.60, the screen is changing in gray colour and looks
like the update starting. But, mean while on PC I can see the blue line 100%,
the mobile is switching off and than restarting.
Of course, because of that I receive Communication Error.
Have tried also many other way following various thread. Nothing.
Can someone give me some help?
FYG, I succeeded in flashing two HTC Kaiser and one
HTC P3600 without any problem and cannot understand where I am wrong.

Power off then go into bootloader, check SPL then... Since it went through the progress bar (and believe me, SPL flashing is VERY quick) it may have worked. !.09 des is soft SPL. This ois used so you can flash yyour SPL layer without an error message showing up.
Unless you are a developer, it is advisable to only use Hard SPL ver 7 (shows 2.10olipro) as it has no real benefit for the everyday flashing junkie. It may actually cause you problems as at one point (I don't know if it was ever fixed) it threw up an error message after flashing that could cause concern if you didn't know it was normal.
My advise if you aren't sure, use the sd card method. Details & apps needed can be found on post #1160 of this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296722

Following appear:
1- mobile goes in bootloader
2- IPL and SPL as x my previous message
3- grey screen and very fast 100% image loaded
4- after that restart automatically and following appear on PC
(it is related to Framework and can assure you I have 2.0 installed)

Don't use pc, use the sd card method. instructions for how to do this are in the link I gave you - post 1160. Doesn't use the pc at all, no sync errors or problems like that. The only othe thing I could suggest is to use the unlocker V3a to unlock and super cid your Hermes... Heres the link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=293665
Flashing via the SD card is safer and easier than using the pc.....

many thanks for your help.
I am now able to see following when enter bootloader:
IPL - 1.04
SPL - 2.10 olipro
Then try to upgrade ROM using any one found on the site for HERMES
but after 1% I receive Error Message : Invalid model ID (244)

Make sure the rom you are flashing is for the HERMES, the type of phone you have. Any roms taken off the wm06 forum on the hermes part of this site are ok. I believe you are trying to flash a rom for a different model phone...
You could also try using the unlock tool if you believe you are using a valid rom BUT Hard SPL WONT ALLOW a rom for another model to be flashed as this is a surefire way to brick your Jasjam...
I too have a Jasjam and haven't had any trouble using the roms cooked by the EXCELLENT chefs in this forum..

I am syncing my phone using exchange sync.
I am also using the contacts pictures using facebook.
i have noticed that the profile pictures that were synced using facebook are not getting imported into the outlook via normal sync.
Is this normal? Do you know what am i doing wrong?

Facebook pictures are not synced with Outlook.
I want to do exactly what you are referring to. There is an app to do it on the iPhone and I'm sure there is a Windows Mobile one too, but so far am unable to find it.
Use a 3th part application if you will sync your Facebook contact pictures with Outlook.

I have the debugging enable but i still have this message in different computer also i try in recovery mode and give error. Please help
this happens to me when i use super one click. idk why but some computers cant do it. what i do is just download the z4root app (search for it) and transfer it to my phone, then use astro (in market) to install it.

Actually I did with this program and still gave error on recovery mode.
Okay so i just re-locked my bootloader due to some problems and now wish to unlock it again. I ran into a problem a few days back with this tool :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1560613
(NOTE- Earlier, I unlocked my bootloader with this tool only)
So what happened was that my windows 7 crashed and i thought of upgrading to windows 8. Since then, i've been getting this error (attached please see) With windows 7 this tool worked without any trouble. I also flashed lots of kernels with this tool!
I need to unlock my bootloader with method only as this is easy not not time consuming at all! Please help me!
