After a lot of Hard resets n Experiments i've come up with the following observations.......
1-Wifi doesnt work if u fill up the startup wit programs so better have the least files in startup folder to clear out the way for WIFIinit file in it...
2-Bluetooth doesnt work if u use the bluetooth explorer or mark it enabled from bluetooth settings
N also it doesnt load up if there is very less RAM available in that case Soft reset ur device.....
If u r experiencing any of the mentioned problemz the only way is Hard reset ur device again n keep the startup clean n never try to enable the bluetooth explorer otherwise ull have to hard reset again N also the wifi doent start the first time u press the button u should the press the power button 2 times then it will work fine.......
NOTE:These r totally my observations n now finally this rom works fine in my I-mate JAMin.......i cant say about other fones with diff Radio versions etc....

SE rulezzz ...but i have one problem: while my MDA is craddled or on external power, power button is OK. But on battery power (& not USB craddled to PC ) first push - turned off my device (its OK) but second push not turned on - only result is green led is off . While somone call to me, my device automatically is on, & all i s OK. I mean, this is a software problem...Maby registry tweak is needed??

I had same problem after installed the "Vito Buttonmapper". When I was uninstall it and proceeded a hard reset, the power button working again...

i had this problem on SE but because i restored my back up files, BTW maybe you want not to restore your information i found it makes it much more stable
Same problem here with 2.06. Hard reset doesnt cure it. Also I don't have sound from the audio jack anymore with this rom....
Make sure you don't have frontlight_wavedev_dim.sa.CAB in your extended ROM. This caused me problems too.
A second hard reset with empty extended rom did cure it though, also I have audio again. Will now put the cabs back one by one to see which one is the culprit ......... to be continued
TNX guys, maby hard reset is only way to remove this problem. This weekend i will try to do this, and will be testing, which aplication cause this problem.
I only installed the camera from ext rom and everything seems to work including gprs, bluetooth gps, contacts, audio.
so i figure why clutter my mda with all kinds of stuff that I evidently don't need ? so I left it like this and I now have a perfectly stable SE rom

Hello to everyone,
one of my installed applications (TT5) needed a patched file. After
installing this patch my phone and contacts does not work anymore
(more accurate: Phone & contacts apps does not show any GUI - it
doesn't matter how I start them).
After removing the mentioned application I tried a lot to get them work
again, but without success. I decided to reinstall WM5.
Now the buttons HW-buttons does not work. They try to start the linked
app, but nothing happens - the taskbar shows shortly the name of them.
Also they are not displayed by the taskmanager.
Everytime when I reinstall WM5 (HimaUpgradeUt) I recognized, that
previous installed stuff is still in memory.
My Questions:
How can I make a REAL CLEAN BLANK WM5 installation (inclusive other
memory parts, if the above mentioned patch was destructive to them)?

U will have 3 choicesnavigate with the record button,change status with camera button,confirm with navigational pad)..

ur current setup shows that u don't have Magneto on ur device anymore....therefore,my 1st post instruction won't work unless u have WM2005 installed....
Magneto install softwares and data on Rom,so they are persistent memory and will survive even flashing....
now do the following:
-access the storage folder from ur explorer (not windows exp.) and format it....
-unlock or unhide extended ROM...the delete all data....
other way?....here u go:
-reinstall Magneto on ur device,then do what i advised in my above post....u will have a clean storage...then downgrade if u want.... :wink:

Go to setting and reduce image resolution.. THAT should solve the issues for u.. Also uncheck use wireless networks & use gps satellites in "location and security"...

You can also replace the camera.apk file with the camera_modv2(look in application section in G3 forum). This solves all the problems and even works with wireless connections turned on.
To replace, you would require root access and root explorer(which is the easiest way) to replace the file or use terminal emulator to do the same.

i hav this market prob since 4-5 days and hav done everything i cn do to download apps bt still i cnt. It shows downloading in status bar bt it dznt.
Hav wiped the dalvik cache and also uninstalled updates in tht app settings of market plus i ha also tried to download using data i.e over the Edge, yea thats wht we still hav here lol
anyways ppl plz help mie solve this prb. I hav done all these things more thn thrice also i hav upgraded and downgraded market 2-3 times bt still m unable to download apps.

I've had this a couple of times, this usually works for me:
Goto "Manage Applications", view all and select Market, then click the "Clear Data" button. I then reboot, connect to WiFi (very slow over normal data connection) and open the market app and it works.

me to gotta same prob, then when i Repaired by SEUC & Pc Companion,,then its vry fine now.. So u too try to do this.

This solved my problem too.
Download the latest market version 3.1.3 from http://www.filesonic.com/file/1741646154 and then install it using a file browser.. once you do don't launch it go to your app management in settings and clear data and press yes when it gives you the warning.. all done

My open vpn stopped working in past and i forgot why thought coz of network but now i remembered that i installed slaidmod in past and even read it has problem with open vpn later on, can some one tell me how too uninstall it i have deleted scripts from intd folder but still iys not working i am on themythics beta 2 , how should i make it too work i dont have any old backup either n don't have my pc with me too , can some one tell what should i do its urgent i am out of station

Maybe you can try to wipe your dalvik cache

Just figured it was turbo charger not slaidmod which version i don't know , will try dalvic cache , what else i can do to make it work
