Im using XDA NEO with PDAViet 4.0.0.0.5b Cross, when Im use a soft reset, but still put it in charging mode, my prophet Pin password auto reset to another number, now I cant login to my prophet with my password. I cant do a hard reset cause have so much data do not backup, trying use defaut '1234' '12345' still incorect. Who have a solution help me plz

There is no solution.... you have to hard reset.....
There is an incompatibility problem with password protection on all cooked WM6 ROMS. If you put a password teh device shall forget the password afterf every soft reset.
by the way, pls use search this ques has been asked and answered a million times already.

Hello All,
Something freaky just happend. I was reading a thread about how someone was unable to access his Bootloader after a WM 2003 install and decided to go into Bootloader mode. No problems there, so I did a soft reset to get out of Bootloader mode and Boom! 'Tap here to set up your device' displayed amid the 'Bliss' background.
I had to setup the device from scratch. Luckily not all that much loss of software and I only lost one appointment which I still remember. Can you guys with WM 2003 try it and let me know your results? Please backup your data first!

BTW I'm using a US T-Mobile PPCPE.
I have setup and remove Russian Lang Pack and after that lose keyboard panel and cant do hard reset. double soft reset dont help me but may be somebody can help me...

Ive just upgraded my phone to the WM6 "Fantastic Mobiz v2.0b3" everything went smooth, no errors.
until the device starts and starts the wizard, tab the screen .... and so on. when it reached to if i wanna set a password to protect the device.
ok i entered the password and confirm it. finished the wizard. then the device restarted, and now it asks about the password, when i enter it it says the password is incorrect.
Activsync also can not connect when the the device is locked.
What to do now? plz help!

It's a known WM6 bug.I will sometime forget the password,so don't use a password...
after setup PW etc ... make a clean shutdown!! It means ... switch it off and on again. this flush the registry back to rom. then he knows the PW after soft reset.

I did a mistake when I buy my Prophet first may yours is the same
If you choose "basic" password at the beginning it only accepts the "numbers" it doesn't allow you to enter letters.
Bu the password input screen allows it.
So if you write letters during your first password setting and if you didn't recognize that those are not accepted you feel you are in trouble.
My advice is "try just the numbers in your password and tap OK"..

My two weeks old Softbank X01HT PDA got stuck on its start up with Windows Mobile screen. All key clicks can be heard, but nothing is happening. When dialing from another phone, ringing tone can be heard but PDA shows nothing. Few days back I tried to install freeware called ScreenLock, but failed in registraition. I suspect whether it works.
Anyway I tried soft reset, but still stuck. CD & Manual received are in Japanese, hence I am helpless. What can I do?
I think you should perform a hard reset, But all your datas (phone book, installed applications ,...) would be lost.
Hold the 2 Softkeys and reset your device with stylus. follow the instructions and on your device and do a hard reset.

i searched the forum for 4 days tioo have a clear solution for thos 2 niki100 i recieved the stuck at the operator logo tim from brazil i dont know what my clients did to them but apears the they try to play over upgrading any way im looking for reflashing the same rom to have them back a life again.
i tested many thread posted here buy members i downlaoded many rom that never works with this kind of problem but when i found the mtty command task 2a then boot one of them turnd with a white screen but stell enter boot mode well for peopole how like to help me the spl on the boot mode is

These are possibly updated versions of your area's stock ROM, the 1.58 radio would be a version 1 ROM, where the 1.65 radio are the version 2 ROMs.
Does it have Hard SPL installed? If not, see if it will install it, then you can install any ROM.
There are other things that can be tried using MTTY, but I am no expert on that - there is a thread on it though.

Could you tell us what you did, I mean did you already tried a hard reset or something simular, and which rom you where using when the phone freeze.
