how to know if my device is SuperCID ?

I looked around and could found how to unlock and super CID but is there a command in bootloader that can show me if I'm super CID ? and unlocked ?
Thank you for the support !
From the post right under this one:
Disable ActiveSync, and then run mtty.exe, choose usb connection; Enter. You should see USB> prompt. Type in: info 2 . When you see 00000000 or SuperCID string. You are safe and ready to upgrade to the latest TYTN 1.35 Rom with bootloader 1.09

american CID

Is it possible to flash american CID via bmm instead of the original uniqe cid of my xt910?
It will help people to flash the update via stock recovery without any need to bmm...
Only pushing the kernel and flash.
thanks... :highfive:
if its possible, can someone who handle xt912 backup his CID and upload it?

AS long i know, CID is a unique customer identification...
YOu can't use someone else cid ; unless the person wants to give information about its phone to you (i think i'm not sure)
What you want to do ? Flash to JB ?

yes, and remove all the CID FAIL thing.
Got it.
Well, i don't think someone will upload a cid for you - as i said it's a personal unique number.
You don't have any backup ?
If u don't... Get used to boot trough bp tools...

Don't get troubled, and go the safe way!
Install bmm 0.3.4, backup CID, erase CID, flash kernel from bmm, flash baseband (optional), enjoy; but you knew that already.
bmm 0.3.4 gets its way to avoid bp tools so no worries there with CID error.
It is already as easy as it needs to be :good:
PS.: from my understanding the CID is attached to chipset's imei so you can't put whatever CID you want; just your device's one, maybe this answers your question.

I didn't knew about this trick
Thanks
Just remember to flash "JB kernel-based roms" ONLY right after flashing kernel, otherwise it will not boot, if you want to get back to ics you must flash an ICS kernel to boot, you can backup your kernel before flashing the jb kernel but with erased cid you can flash any ics kernel if you forgot to do that
the safer bet will be keeping your stock ics on main system, an do all the flashing stuff in 2nd system (must activate first, there are tutorials for that) so you can easily come back flashing ics kernel and switch to system 1 if anything goes wrong.

root problem

i rooted my Flyer via this guide but nothing works: busybox, root explorer, titanium. i don't have root access, although superuser is installed.
HELP please...
First you need to unlock bootloader of your device. You can do it through revolutionary site or htcdev.com
Then go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1870652 and try Quick Root. It root your device in a few minutes. Have a nice rooting

You can download busybox installer from play store and try different versions of busybox try older versions. Also if you are using Titanium backup click on "having problems" and it will also install busybox for you.
Another thing you can do is install supersu and update binary. Cheers
What about bootloader? Have u unlocked it? Did u s-offed?
i don't have s-off. but i understood something: somehow i managed to make it work, i mean when in root checker, when i pushed "verify root" it asked superuser permission. but after i connected with pc to put an apk file it didn't work. i can't understand why this happens and if i fix this can i connect to pc again without broking?
forgot to mention: i unlocked the bootloader when trying a guide and i installed busybox (1.21) before root broke down again...please HELP

OK. My personal advice. Find the RUU that suits your device. Just Google it. Lock your bootloader. For that put your device into the fastboot and enter: fastboot oem lock. And install RUU.
Then go to htcdev.com and unlock your bootloader.
Using QuickRoot tool root your device.
I think this is smoothest in your case.

According to your CID your device made for Eastern Europe.
1. First of all make a gold card of your EXTERNAL not INTERNAL SD. How to make a gold card. Make it using card reader.
2. Gogle and download OFFICIAL RUU. For example RUU_Flyer_HTC_WWE_2.23.405.3_R_Radio_20.3504.30.089BU_3809.07.04.06_M_release_204108_signed.exe
3. Run RUU on your computer.
That's it.
i made the gold card, i installed ruu, but i used revolutionary to s-off. however, when trying to flash superuser with recovery, it showed me a phone with a triangle and an exclamation mark. i tried unlocking bootloader, but when tiping "fastboot oem get_identifier_token" it sais command error.

Just clearing up what cybojenix said by no, he means no you have to unlock your bootloader first, all current root methods for the Moto E require you to unlock your bootloader.

Can't we modify the the stock firmware's system.IMG file and flash that?
If the signature remains intact then we can flash it as stock firmware upgrade.
I know the post above meant the same thing or something similar.
Yet if we can do something like this...

I will lock my device and try it with the twrp method, as that will give better results..

If you modify the system.img file, you would have to unpack the archive to modify and when you pack it again, signature will change! hence No it cannot be done

Probably not because that is part of the bootloader unless you relock it.
Why do you want to remove the warning?
