when i turn on the device it shows (this is Orange-Israel device):
IPL: 2.16.0001
SPL: 2.16.0001
Radio: 02.07.10
OS: 2.16.9.1
and when i look at the device information, i get this:

I tried lokiwiz03a but it didn't work. after manually copying the two cabs to the phone this is the output that i got:

The phone IS locked, i tried using it with a sim from another carrier (Cellcom) and needed to type an unlock code...
What is this strange simlock code?
What do i do with it?
Can anyone help?

i have tested all version of this unlock , thought phone stay locked.
other thing i have tested and found , if i remove the MULTILANG support (program make all menu to hebrew and add hebrew keyboard)
the phone will be unlocked!!!!
if i reacktive the program , it say sim is invalid.
any ideas ?

you instaled the cet acb and the rapi cab??
for the second one as you post it your device is a g3 also you can unlock it via lokiwiz 2.b or do a downgrade 1.01 but verify if your device is g3

we cant unlock g4's...u have 2 pay 4 that...right?
you can unlock only sim if you want a cid unlocked you will pay of sim code is free anfter my mother g3 i had a g4 an i had unlockit very easy with lokiwiz3
So, lokiwiz3 is able to unlock the G4?

When the Lock Status shows only zeros it means that the lock bit is already removed and the phone is SIM (not CID) unlocked, thus the strange characters in the unlock code field
There should be no distinction between G3 and G4 regarding SIM (not CID) unlocking. The only thing that changed from earlier versions of lokiwiz is that when there were only G3 with IPL/SPL 1.xx the program would write an unlocked file to the phone instead of calculating the code to type.

maybe with HTC Uni SIMUnlock you can do it , and you can find it in http://rapidshare.com/files/23944709/HTC_Uni_SIM_Unlock_v1.rar....
since we got CID error when trying to flash ameo with the dopod rom, i tried to dissamble then resamble dopod RUU_signed.nbh with header of the ameo using NBHextract & nbhgen...
the sample text file i modified is like this:

i think its because of the nbhgen not properly signing the files.
as well the are 2 SPL files, 1 inside the RUU_signed.nbh and the other is outside, can somebody tell me why?
i'm not a programmer or anything near that, just a normal user, anyway my ameo still alive after 5 failed flashing...
Hi..One needs to Sign the nbh properly or shd Hv a Bootloader which will accept unsigned Code.

i cant try this software(from russia i cant pay uses site pay system)

I took my device to a service center (not imate servicecenter, because there is no imate certified service center here in my country) and they told me that they should replace my imate's motherboard with a new one and that will cost me about 420$. f***cking service center. i have a bricked and useless jasjam now!
Guys I took a look at the Hermes Unbricking page and I think that you fall to the category not even Pof can repair. Your bootloader is not directly mentioned but the circumstances of your case are the same as in:
1.06, 1.09, 1.11 or 2.02, Any HTC Boot, Will not boot to windows, NO GSM, NO KITL - Bricked while flashing radio, bootloader doesn’t allow to flash unsigned code. BRICK - Send it to repair centre, warranty... Basically you are in the very same situation - only your bootloader version is different - but it is an official bootloader that does not allow unsigned code flashing.
try unpacking the official upgrade from your service provider with ruuwrapper. I had this problem and it worked for me.

Dude!, I have exactly in the same situation as you.
I think the only way we can fix our devices is to find the bootloader password and then flash the radio with MTTY. The most important problem here is that we cannot flash our devices using ROMUpgradeUt.exe because it cannot connect to our devices, so we cannot find the bootloader password using the pof & esteve method "HTC Hermes BootLoader PASSWORD".
We can only flash our devies using the ROMUpdateUtility.exe.
I tried to do the above method on ROMUpdateUtility.exe and RUUResource.dll instead but there is no password field in RUUResource.dll . Maybe someone like pof should work with this dll to see how does it works!

But unfortunately sspl-herm.exe is a WinCE application and cannot run on x86 or x32 windows.

Hello everyones, I need to restore the original rom, ExtendedRom and bootloader on my HTC Hermes, Vodafone Brand now with windows mobile 6 (the original relase of HTC) with spl patched (now SPL-2.10 Olipro). When I restore windows mobile 5, the EXTRom and the bootloader aren't changed. Why could I downgrade them?
