Mobile TV via mymobiler - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam Accessories

Hello
i was wondering if anyone had got mobile TV to work via Activesync\bluetooth on mymobiler.
I can connect via bluetooth and active sync fine, then connect to the internet, however when I get to the mobile TV it asks for my works proxy username and password.
Looking into it a bit further, active sync gives the phone a different IP address and thus causes this issue.
I want to be able to keep the mobile network IP address rather than be allocated a one.
Is this possible?

That would have to do with your phones settings.. MobiTV works fine from my phone...

Internet question

Hi,
I have a question. I come from windows mobile and I used to connect my htc hd2 to my computer and surf the internet using my computer's adsl modem via Active Sync (not by Wifi). Can it be done with the Dell Streak - if so what software does I need?
Thanks!
I'm not sure if I'm understanding you the right way round. Do you want to use the Streak as a modem so your computer can connect to the internet,or do you want to connect the Streak to the internet through your computers net connection?
The Streak supports Tethering by Wi-fi and USB as standard as long as you have 2.2 or a custom rom that uses it.
If not PDAnet on the Market is a good simple app to do it.

If you want to do the latter then it will require a bit more work but is possible, this post I found should help you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=793102
Good luck!

Connecting 1 Android (as hotspot device) to Another (as host), and display IP Cam

Hey guys, unique hacking type of question.
I want to use 1 android phone as a wifi hotspot which has IP cameras as clients that connect to it.
I then want to connect this hotspot android phone (call it the USB device) to another android phone (call it the USB host) via USB OTG. I need the host android phone to be able to display the IP Cameras live feeds.
So my question is, if all the software was written, and both phones had a root app that talked to eachother, could I accomplish this?
What type of hardware bandwidth limitations do you think I would face? Thanks so much for any help.

xposed for lolly pop
install the one for "arm" not 64 bit, make sure your os, I assume 5.1 then download the module "moto tether" this will get the thing to fire up without kicking you, however after doing everything under the sun ( sql edit, build prop edit, apn edit) everything in all the forums, nothing gets me to the internet because of a dns error, HOWEVER, Bluetooth tether works without problems and I connect just fine, if anybody ever figures out the native tether problem please post, yes ive used google code tether and all the rest, cant get past dns. hope this helps.

Disable MAC Randomization for a WIFI profile when the configuration option is missing

My daughter has a Moto G7 running Android 10 at college and needs to disable MAC Randomization for her wireless profile in order to connect. However, the option in the profile settings to use the device mac is completely missing. I am working with Motorola support, but they are currently telling me that they are "working with campus IT" which I don't expect to help at all. I was able to use a dialer code to bring up the wifi settings and it absolutely shows macrandomization=1.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to change that setting? I really don't want to root the phone since it goofs up many of the apps she uses and she has been using her laptop for a hotspot. But it's crazy frustrating that it would probably be just fine if I could edit the settings file to change that value.

I used this app for like a year or more until I cleared its data one last time.I cleared the app data because when the app miss behaving like sudden connection drop,I would just clear the app data and then pair the iphone back wirelessly on the app.it works fine until a week ago i did it one last time then i couldn't register the app on the internet anymore.only leaving me a message written in Chinese which translated to (server connection is abnormal).I tried everything i can to make it work ,wifi connection is fine but i think the developers discontinued this app support. Is there anyway i can make this work.Thank you for your time and sorry for bad english.
