Yes. About 23-24mb after startup. You can hibernate with quickmenu. Since all the cube options is loading at startup, so we can open all the cube option w/o lags

i just update my atom, but there is something wrong with this cooked ROM.
after updating, ROM version is OS 5.2.1413 (build 18508.0.7.0)..... but it should be OS 5.2.1948....
anyone can help, what is this problem?
bythe way, there was no error during flashing, it went smoothly.
Bug Found
It seems that the audible sound gets cut off after a few hours of usage. Means that there is no sound from the device's speakers either when the phone's ringing or playing any music. This does not concern Bluetooth. Bluetooth works fine though.
Only way to get the sound back is to soft reset the device.
I tried this ROM on 02 Atom Execs, both are having the same problem.
I found some bugs in the touchflo. sometimes it stays in the cube screen even though you slide it down to go back to today screen.

Another bug, the bluetooth gets disconnected on the first ring, the caller has to call again the second time and then the bluetooth is working ok.

Hmmm not quite sure though. Normal bluetooth headset works fine. I'll try it later on my other bluetooth stereo headset and update you later.

For testing it faster, it will be much appreciated if you can upload the patched file before you are going to re-cook the ROM image. Is it feasible? Thank you.
Camera confirmed not working... I was using RC2, and it was ok..
Changed Memory Card to Storage Card (a bit troublesome for person who used Atom, then Atom Exec now, like me, as we got used to Memory Card already)..
Another new problem (I think): I was using TCPMP81 to watch video a lot.. and no very smooth on old standard O2 ROM... run fantastic on RC2, same not so smooth on RC3...
Still having the same problems I posted on RC2, which no-one has responded on it, which are:
#1 - Tasks -> Can't filter with Active Tasks:
I got total of 15 tasks, where 4 of them is not Active (meaning no due date).. at the Today screen, it does indicate 11 Active tasks... but at the Tasks program, activating the filter with Active Tasks and deactivating it, give the same result... where I don't face this problem with WM5..
#2 - MiDi file as Ringtone
I like to use MiDi file as ringtone, as it is small size and very loud... however, after flashing this ROM, the sound of the MiDi file is very different when you playback as ringtone, as compare to playback from MediaPlayer..
Hope someone can help..

Instruction: Copy AL1.dio to your storage card (smaller than 2 GB, you should format it first (FAT 16)) -> put it into your device then put your device into bootloader mode (Record + reset), wait until it reaches 100% it will hard reset your device => voila, your device is ready for the magic.
After flashing finished,First you should choose to enable FtouchFlo:
Start menu\ Program\ Tools \ FtouchFlo settings, choose tab "general", check the box "enable FtouchFlo" then "Done".
Now your Atom Life is ready ( but when FtouchFlo is running you can not Align screen, this is not a bug)
Now ->Slide your finger:
- left -> right to call the Launcher of Wktask
- right-> left to open Total Commander
- up->down to minimize running programs
- down-> up to call task manager 2.9
That's it. But you can change these behaviors by using "FtouchFlo settings"

I can't find Saman's SMS Delivery Report configuration. Is it included? By the way, I was using this app before using your rom and it has problem where the timestamp for the SMS which is modified is broken. Because of this, any SMS which has been modified to include the contact's name always appear at the top of the list.
I haven't fully tried out this rom yet, so anyone can confirm this?

yes, it's included, but I don't want to place its shortcut to Tools so you can look for it in windows : SMSDRFix.exe. Carefully look at Settings\sounds\notifications, you will see "Messaging: SMS Delivery receipt"
If you can't use the exe to change what it shows, modify these registry value:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Saman\SMSDRFix]

Strange thing happen. Whenever my O2 connect to activesync to pc, the camera light will turn on (dim light) and will flicker. when I disconnect, it will turn off. Any help? And how to turn off the bootup sound (music) ? Thanks

I just turned off the bootup sound by deleting the Audiaboot 0.1.lnk in /windows/startup.

Thanks. I do a bit of exploring and found Startup.mp3 in device. Its the bootup sound file. Reduce the volume to 25% (edit in audio editor). I like the sound but its loud when bootup. Now its just right.

its not possible as our hardware and the drivers dont support it, the only way is to find some genius to hack widcomm or modify our bluetooth drivers, impossible!

To gain a screen like above go through setup, select Diamond3 as theme.
Tap yes to install ThrottleLauncher & 3DTouchFlo (no to AutoConfig and no to HTC Home enable)
and finally tap yes to softreset. If QuickMenu doesnt load or Wifi loads
automatically, softreset again and problem should be solved.

Step by step upgrade 6828 ROM via SD Card
1. Extract and copy diskimg.nb0 to a SD card (FAT32 and Blank SD Card are recommended)
2. Press and hold 2 soft key( - ) and reset, Boot loader will show up.
3. Wait abut 10 ~ 20 Minutes
4. Align Screen, adjust time and date
5. Restart your 6828

i flashed ur ROM today and found no error so far except that WOW doesn't load... trying something and will post an update...
tried to restore my contacts using spb backup... it hangs after the soft reset...
able to reset my phone..
found a few glitch...
>> touchflo only access photos in my main memory... anything stored in my MMC can't be accessed...
>> maybe you can add a network wizard which would set up GPRS connection and setting automatically...
>> album and slideshow doesn't work....

Do Not use this ROM in Atom, it is only for 6828, Your Device will semi brick. There are many ROM with Build in Manila 2D for Atom, try searching in this forum, or you can install Manila 2D only without update your ROM

i'm not sure if it can be used with WM 5.0 but so far i only found M2D on WM 6 or 6.1...

i got error in wow hd ( there is no wow hd driver loaded. the control panel will now exit).
even audio booster switch in music player is not working, did it is working in third update?
ok wow hd removed and battery meter,etc in third update very nice.
anyway waiting 4 final rom, thnk 4 ur rom

Thanks, yup we have litle bug between WOW HD with 6828 wavedev.dll (i'll try to fix it). in 3rd release i remove it temporary and add other funstuff inside.
media fire upload take long time for me now, so i remove link into ppcgeeks, i hope finished soon.
I've downloaded the 3rd release using the link in the post. This file is not working. It's only 5 Mb big and while opening it gives an error:
\ARIE_rw6828_M2D_V.1.3.zip: Unexpected end of archive
Can this please be fixed.

Nice & quick ROM, but (some observations):
-too small font: for keyboard, dialer (keypad), folder names & elsewhere[I have good eyes, but please get in some bigger fonts!!!];
-in Alarms: selected days are not visible(the opposite:unselected are visible?!);
-pushing hardware volume keys makes appear the volume control window with a "blurry cloud" on top of it;
-using camera stops built-in audio player(is that correct?);

Try changing themes to change the font sizes... search for 'livven gloss'
I installed setvol 0.8 - it didn't work, but seemed to fix the volume control, even after I uninstalled it again! There must be a registry key to use a skin for the volume control or something.
This does not look bad as the ROM on which I worked for about 3 weeks. Can you, did not once look at my BETA.

Don't bother, use another flasher software for Mega...
for change fonts, use f.e. this cabs

The cabs solved ugly icon using hardware buttons for volume.If does not work try to install sdkcert. On my phone it works immediately.
what build is it?
is it 23563 or what???
