MMS Comparisons - Mogul, XV6800 ROM Development

I'm new to this phone. I've seen a couple posts on switching MMS packages.
From what I can gather, there are 4 options. What are the pros and cons of each?
Alltel
Stock Sprint
Stock Verizon
Arcsoft
Thanks, in advance,
Matt,

i believe that they are all based off arcsoft and that their is no working stock sprint not sure about verizon but alltel is arcsoft as far as i know
i could be wrong that is just what i have put together from using dif roms on my 6800

sprint roms dont come with mms
alltel and verizon use arcsoft mms

Sprint ppc-8600 vs Alltel ppc-8600

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but it seems like the best bet on someone knowing a definite answer.
I'm currently with alltel and am looking to get a ppc-8600, however on browsing around i'm noticing the sprint phones are $100-200 cheaper in general than that alltel branded ones.
Is the only difference the firmware and how long they've been out, or is there hardware differences as well? Will a sprint phone flashed to alltel have any feature/response difference?
More importantly, does anyone know for sure if alltel lets people use sprint branded phones that they sell the same model for, assuming the esn # is clear?
Likewise if anyone has an experience with it, assuming an alltel phone, or the flashed sprint phone works, would it be possible to flash over to say, the new sprint rom comming that enables full gps, and still use with alltel?
Edit: I realize i was being completely dyslexic when i first posted this. I mean the 6800. My apolgies.
Hi,
I will attempt to answer a few questions and relinquish what I do know...
I have the Alltel PPC6800. It believe it has been out since early October; maybe a little before. The Sprint version (Mogul) is cheaper because the Sprint client database is MUCH larger. Asides from the Alltel version clad all in black, the Alltel has a better radio firmware that can be installed on the Sprint Mogul. Also, the Moguls from Sprint have been plaqued with Bluetooth issues. My PPC6800's Bluetooth works great. Software differences will include Network specific apps, PRL list, etc.
I know Verizon recently released information that they were going to allow other CDMA networks phones on their network but I do not think Sprint or Alltel will. At least not yet.

Any good replacements for Arcsoft MMS? I have the Verizon xv6800

Why are you looking for a replacement for Arcsoft?
have you try this.
This is the new Arcsoft that GC has released I have been using now for a good bit with all of my roms.

MMS on telus

Hey all
DCD FREAKIN AWESOME
Does anyone know if there is an add on to get the telus p4000 aka mogul to be able to send MMS.
Thanks
Telus has locked out mms on ALL p4000s. MMS features are locked to the phones listed on their website. Which doesnt include ours. Its probably the only thing I miss about my old phone. If there were a way I wish i knew about it.

Switching Over From Alltel To Sprint

With Alltel switching over to Verizon witch ii really thinks suck I wuz wondering is there anyway I can switch over from Alltel to Sprint but keep my same phone. Also its been flashed so would I have to flash it back to the stock alltel rom before I go to sprint

Alltel ppc6800 to Verizon firmware?

Ive been trying to find a answer and cant quite figure it out.
I was on Alltel and was moved to VZW during the merger.
I have flashed my phone(alltel branded ppc6800) with Ryanmougl's heavy Alltel rom and it works great.
I just wonder if I can just flash with his VZW firmware and it will work since my phone is registered on VZW because of the merger.
