Has anybody used their XDA as an IR modem and managed to connect their PDA via the phone??

I was wondering if the XDA-developers Special Edition ROM v1.2 can be used on the XDA II without any major problems?
has anybody tried it successfully?

It won´t work....
XDA-developers Special Edition ROM v1.2 is for XDA 1 / MDA 1 /.... and nor for the XDA II / MDA II / ....

Here is a link to HSPL 4 but remember you have to install 2.08 HSPL to be able to use MAGLDR
