New WinCE 6.0 R2 base - Mogul, XV6800 ROM Development

I want to create a rom that includes the new WinCE 6.0 R2 base. I have not found any out there however this new base includes many new features including video chat and voip. I would like to make a rom that is based on this and the latest version of windows mobile and office mobile allong with some of my favorite apps. What I need is a copy of the windows CE 6.0 R2 base for windows mobile as I don't want to have to compile my own from scratch with visual studio. The whole point of this rom would be to have the latest and greatest so it would be updated with the latest release of all applications included and bug fixes as needed.

eRice Touch Pro Kitchen & ROM - Build 20931 - v1.03.7 - Sprint Only

Hey all,
I have a kitchen up for you Sprint CDMA users. If you aren't familiar with PPCGeeks, you'll want to register there to download it, but all the info is in this link.

The build is 20931 and runs very stable and fast.
If ROMs are more your style, I have a completely cleaned out one based on the same build here:

Sense UI (manila 2.5) based 23xxx ROM

i know there are a few people working on manila 2.5 based ROMs, but their current build is a 23017 based one..
yet over in the CDMA forum, they have a 23060+ based ROM (23403 to be exact) with manila 2.5, and i wondered why it was that no one was working on one for the GSM users?
I would LOVE to have manila 2.5 on my phone but i want it to be a newer version of winmo 6.5 as well..
here is what i'm referring to:

Hi there and welcome to our playground.
In the near future there will be updated win6.5 builds with Manila 2.5 but they now just need a stable build to try to get manila 2.5 working proper.
If you keep changing to every new build out there you would keep having new problems every time that had not been problems in previous builds.
That's my look on things.
PS [Rom] Raphael - WM 6.5 build 23071 Manila 2.5 VGA from muttim86's room is a rom that will probable update to a newer win6.5 build very soon.

Linux Kernel 3.3 With Android Code

Since linux Kernel 3.3 is out with built in Android code. I would like to know what would that mean to us P500 users from a developers point of view. Would we get something out of it?
If you don't understand the new features than it won't make a difference for you between running your current kernel and the newer one.

[Q] why not stock ROM win 6.5????

hi
i tried win 7(nand), and android 2.3.5 and few more(sd) on my hd2.Had some battery power issue with win 7 and android ROM's. i liked android,But i always miss that HTC Sence (weather Widget). so i went back into win 6.5.
i saw some good looking ROM on page..... HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM Development..... many of them even have htc sense weather widget... the one I like most..
now my question is, why I should use these ROM. they are pretty much like original ROM, and what is the diff. between them and original ROM.
why should i go 4 these Rom,instead of original ROM.?? is there a very big diff. and what??. Many question in my mind, but don't have any answer, if some of you can explain it to people like me, its very help full for me and other people..
thanx in advance..........
The Problem is that there is a lot of software on the stock ROMs we do not need. On custom Roms this software is removed. In the stock Roms there are also some cool features disabled (Camera modes, 567mb Ram...) and the devs of the custom roms are using a better compression and other tools to make the rom faster.
Many reasons to use them such as:
Better support for bugs & personal preferences
Removing of network software & limitations
Newer firmware/software such as WM6.5.3 & camera app ect are only available via custom ROM.
NRG rom transferred my device & further setup by myself of WM6.5.3 based ROM has made a very practical & elegant platform far better than Android unless gaming is a priority.

thanx again

i read something that f&^*d me up about building android projects...

so i want to start developing on android rom projects and i read this :
A 64-bit environment is required for Gingerbread (2.3.x) and newer versions, including the master branch. You can compile older versions on 32-bit systems.
so i want to work on 4.2.2 & i have 32bit computer it isn't possible?
