Hi...
Thanks for the answer.......
Have a nice day!!!
Bye

if you have the clock set to show on all screens.
press and hold the "action button" the button in th emiddle of the direction pad. then tap and hold the stylus on the clock then with the option box that comes up. hit "run"
thats about as close to it as you can get on the device without using something like mitty over usb?

WM6.1 type start menu...

Isn't there a program out there thats in .cab form to change the dropdown menu to replicate the one thats on all these wm6.1 roms..?? I've been searchin for a little while and I cant even find the thread that talked about doing it let alone the actual file... Thanks in advance...
ok, well i found QuickMenu which seems to be pretty cool an works very well but it only activates when you click in the top left corner on the Windows Logo, well I lost my stylus an my fingers arent baby fingers so its kinda a pain without an object to click in the corner, is there anyway to make it where it activates by the "Start" section as well as with Windows Logo..??
You can go into Quick Menu Option, and check 'replace system menu' which will now bring quickmenu when you click window start button. You can also enable the option where 'long press' on the window start menu icon brings up the oem windows menu, and 'short press' brings up the quickmenu.
one of the .dll files was missing from the QMenu folder so when I tried to mess with settings it didn't let me but I reloaded it and now it let's me, thanks for readvising me...

Blank Start Menu 1.90 Asia WWE, Help!

When I press the start button the start menu is Black and only shows the contents once i press up or down.
Is there a fix for this. I have searched all over the forum. (Is there a way of using google search just on this forum rather than the entire site?)

What do you mean press up or down? A screenshot would be helpful.

There is an option Search this thread right above your message. (see attachment).
The start menu drops down but it is totally Black. Solid.
Only the search at the top of the page uses google. The other search uses the useless forum search tool.
Is there anything in \windows\start menu\programs? There should be the shortcuts for your programs (set at
Start -> Settings -> Menus).
Yes, It is odd, as soon as I press the direction pad on the phone all the items suddenly appear.
I am also getting this problem. I just recently installed and ran MemMaid. I did a quick fix thing, and optimised my DLLs, could that be what is effecting it?
I have just solved my problem. In the System tweaks area of MemMaid, I checked the two boxes 'Animate Windows' and 'Animate Menus'. When I unchecked these, my start menu now displays correctly.
Thanks Nalixor, sorted me out as well

How to Reset Your myTouch: Hardware Key Combo

I'm new to Android with my myTouch, but I'm no stranger to mobile "hacking" being that I own a Tytn, Touch Pro, Touch Pro 2, and HD2. Is there an app or registry edit that'll give me a reset button of any sort? Preferably on in the "Phone Options" menu on a power key long press.
Thanx

Nothing that I know of but there's an app called "Quick Boot" that will present you with an option to reboot but only within itself, not on the long press.
All the other Android phones I've had you could hit Alt + Shift + backspace for an instant reboot, but for some reason doesn't work on the Slide. Not sure if there's a quick key combo for a reboot.
If you're rooted, maybe using Better Cut to create a shortcut for a terminal command to reboot? I could never figure out how to use Better Cut to do that though.
vol down+power+center optical trackball with give you an instant reboot.
If you are rooted, just use better terminal emulator andtype the comand "reboot" or "reboot recovery"
good to know, thanks!

Go to settings>locale and text>uncheck the "default input" checkbox (not sure about the exact label, but it's second to the top, my phone's language is lolspeak )
Be warned though, you will not be able to access "symbols" menu. When you press
the button under "enter", it'll just act the same as the alt button, the blue one. So, you can't enter an underscore and other symbols like $.

Yes, when in the described mode, press and keep pressing the letter that contains the special symbol.
For instance, if you need the symbol 'ö', press and keep pressing 'o', the rest will point itself out.

How come in all the reviews, it says you swipe up from the bottom? Is that not available on the S3?

Your right mate.
Not only this factor.
Many things like the flicking of shortcut to remove button directly removes widget /shortcut.
But, in S3 we need to drag till the button.
Then, Full Screen Calls , Deleting images through gallery by flicking then up , etc.
Google Now comes with Jelly Bean only.
