Tagalog xT9 - Touch Dual, MDA Touch Plus ROM Development

does anyone know where to get a Tagalog/English xT9?i actually want to get rid of it but since it seems there is still no way to do that then the next best thing is to install a tagalog/english xT9.

LOL! nice one pare!
nfortunately, unless you add al the tagalog words one by one on the dictionary, there isn't one made for us Filipinos yet.

your post Subject is highly misleading.
Avoid posting "OFFICIAL" if you are not going to upload something official.
My deepest apologies my friend. Just looking for answers...just looking for answers
TSK TSK...
Sigh... I was all excited when I saw this....
does TouchFLO have anything to do with dual roms??
I'd consider this posting on the level of a spam.

TOTALLY!!
the only touchflo rom currently being devel'd for 8525 is schwapps. and he's still cooking it up..
Stop wasting everyone's time please.
Could a moderator please ask the OP to change the title of the post, or just change it themselves. I hate being misled like this...
I'm not the first to complain about this, and then the OP responding to complaints with "Just looking for answers. Just looking for answers." sort of implies that he knew what he was doing by posting his message with the title worded the way it was. It's not nice, and clearly when one considers that there have been over twelve hundred views to this thread already and only six replies (seven including mine), it's just wasting everybody's time.
Thank you to any moderators, or the OP if he feels like being nice.

Rather than apologize, why not just edit your original post. Add a question mark or something.

There's your answer. Now... I was tempted to say some unkind words but will save those for somebody else who deserves them but can also hear me.
Tested and Working
Thanks for the help and nice words guys.
If you are looking to have TouchFLO up and running on your 8525 read below
Please reference this link and install this schaps ROM. When you first install the ROM you will notice when you swipe your finger across the screen it only rotates the screen but you can modify FtouchFLO to open the cube.
You will have to read.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=347806&highlight=touchflo
I used TFloCubeCtrl to modify the cube...see the attachment.
I only tested the ROM on my 8525 all the credit goes to Schap for creating the ROM. I just wanted to inform you guys that it is working on the 8525
Enjoy!

As long as you keep a black skin and the possibility to use (dutch) xt9 in it, I'll be a big fan of this topic

I can test for you to Just let me know
One thing that would be fantastic; Norwegian T9
Keep it up, and good luck

Hey Bram, could you please inform us on the status of your progress?? We're really looking forward to it!! Also I would like to know what tweaks and programs you're embedding. By the way, you know you're TOF, right?!
I do not know the original surface rom for the Elf, but seeing the reaction of the ppl here I guess it is going to be a great rom to try on my niki.
Please give us some more details about your Rom.
thanks a lot for your effort to improve Niki device!
i used to have a ELF and used Bram's Touch Surface ROM for it. I Tried alot of ROMs and his was by far the smoothest, fastest most responsive ROM for that device. Not taking away from anyother cook at all cause they have done a excellent job and Tom's ROM so far has been really really good, but I am looking foward to Brams.
Good to hear we have a new talented cook on our Niki thread!
Btw Bram, I don't know if this is currently possible, but could you look into making "abc" as the default input method instead of xT9? I really hate xT9 since I prefer doing "text speak" (sms style abbreviated words). Thanks.
great news my friend, thank you
am also curious how it looks like *g*
any updates on this rom...??
Busy cooking the rom, currently i'm implementing all the languages for xt9.
Then the rom is almost finished.

I was able to register, but not to find something useful. I had a good laugh tho... (@ the google translation of their site) xD
in my country, we have the similar problem, we dont know who has the rom, as far as we know is the tow videos released on the internet show us that our HD2 can really run the WP7. the individuals there are still waiting for the news, be patient, if there's any news of wp7 ON HD2 from xda.cn, i will notice your guys.
ok?

There is a Korean rom somewhere but I would guess it has Chinese and Japanese language. Possibly someone knows where those things are in the rom, and how to move them? An Arabic port was made.
I'm just imagining, but I don't know.

[Q] Want to help devs translate apps[SWE]

Hello and good evening everyone.
I have received so much from these forums and the Android community in general. A while back I had a HTC DHD and contributed with bandwidth for ARHD(this is way back) as I want to give back to the community(donations aside ofc). Now I have a LG P990 and am trying to find a way to help out with something.
Recently I have been trying a lot of apps of all sorts. One thing I have noticed is the poor translations to swedish. It is sometimes even embarrassing to see how very well written apps and tools are just filled with down right badly translated text. Seeing how many Android users there are in Sweden I really think this is both strange and a bit sad.
I don't know if I' sticking my nose out here, but I want to help clean this up. Maybe I come off as arrogant in this post. That is not the intention here though. All I'm looking for is a way to try and figure out how to help out
Should I just start emailing the specific devs or is there a forum or anything where "translators" gather round? IRC channels maybe? Am I being stupid?

Yep, that's the best you can do. Actually, multi-language support isn't a difficult job, so I think the devs will be glad if you wish help them

Actually it seems pretty difficult to do since a majority of translations are less than perfect.
The problem with emailing devs is that they have no idea of who I am or what I am capable of. Did it a couple years back and the usual reply was "we have someone" or "no we don't need it".
