Ok guys I see a lot of people asking for a kitchen I personaly dont mind building one using DOG GUYS KITCHEN MAKER, DCD and NUE 6.1 IF IT IS ALL RIGHT WITH THEM. With that said I know that me and a couple of other people on verizon to test that carrier out, I will need other people with other carriers to test the kitchen also. Keep in mind that testting can brick your phone, and like I said this is all if it alright with DCD and NUE cause I will be using there roms as a base and the other people that have been helping me I would need your help also.
So this is just a start.
No2Chem doesn't mind as I have been modding his ROM for VZW already. Not sure about dcd.
If you need help though just let me know. I'll be happy to be beta for VZW.
no2chem just released an official WM 6.1 ROM over at ppcgeeks. I would suggest using this over his earlier beta WM 6.1 roms. He'll be releasing the files you'll need for a kitchen (XIP, sys, etc) after he gets some rest.
Ok so we'll start on it. Give me a couple of days to get a base going (if nothing is going on tonight at work i will mabey have it tonight . Now I also work shift work at a plant and I will answer anyone as soon as I can get to you.

Okay I give up on dropped data connections with 3.27 radio but really really want all the fixed things in wm6.1.. I like the SMS (can live without it tho) and the newer MMS that allows you to add recipient... I'm sure there are other things too but those pop out as the most significant....
anyways... Is there any dcd rom I can use that has wm6.1 that will work with a radio version less than 3.27? And if so, which radio? I have only tried 1.40 with good luck but I see there are others out there... Any versions links and words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated so I can stop flashing the hell out of my titan and start using it as a phone instead of a science project

dcd has said he will be releasing a 2.17 based ROM with 6.1 in it. It will be version 1.7.0 from what I hear. Coming very soon, just working out some small issues.

Looks like the apache kitchen. Which reminds me how slow that PPC used to be. Then last night, I was playing around with the Touch. No keyboard was horrible, but it was so much faster. Didn't suffer from memory problems. If only the Mogul had 128 MB ram...

Ok, have you used this to build a rom for the titan? it only builds for apache, one good thing though, I'm able to get updated and new oem's which I'm able to use in DCD's kitchen.

I have been following this it is supposed to eventually be a universal kitchen for multipple devices, checking it out tonight perhaps they have included the titan now.
Yup, looking at their main page they are thanking No2Chem for the titan kitchen, looking to see if I can find it now, perhaps DCD will be releasing his a compatible version of his kitchen, he and No2Chem seem pretty tight.

If you read the full article HERE, You can see the dropdown box for what device your cooking for - I'm assuming there's a Titan device available, as dcd is listed in the credits aswell. In anycase I can't wait to try it tonight when I get home!

Don't waste your time, titan is not an option yet.
Damm, finally got back to my PC after the updater finished and alas....... IT IS NOT FOR THE TITAN.... When I read the read more section, down at the bottom I saw it say No2Chem for Titan Kitchen and bout pissed myself... SORRY to everyone who got too excited by my overzelous post........

Damn, that sucks. I went and got all excited... Really the only functionality I want from that is the ability to change the boot & splash screens.
Just recently coming from the 6700/Apache camp I can tell you how much I MISS the Apache kitchen. It was nothing short of a ROM addicts dream...
I got kind of spoiled using the kitchen and the Apache. Yeah, the 6700 was a somewhat limited device compared to the 6800 but it's the Kitchen that really made it compelling and seriously, probably kept it going for so long (and still going...)
Hopefully the Mogul development will eventually get there, but for now you can always dream....
i actually just spoke with gguruUSA and he said that the noChem's titan kitchen has been implemented, but the only delay is with the release of the new official rom, so they're working to make everything compatible. So, hopefully soon we'll be cooking roms apache style.

It's No2chem 5060 (very nice), updated PPCGeeks_OEM.rar, and updated Shareware_OEM.rar.
So, for all of us DCD fans, could it be that DCD has offered us his last ROM release for the forseeable future? What if it is true (and believe me I hope it isn't)? Has anyone started researching other "stable" alternatives?
Just thought a thread for people to post suggestions or ideas for where we DCDers might go until he returns (if he returns)...

if dcd is goin to be done then i hope he drops DCD3.2.7m2D
without dcd, titans will never keep advancing

maybe DCD is a student or sumthing...the summer had a lot of releases...maybe he's too busy now to be tinkering with the titan
Don't get me wrong...If DCD is done or just taking a break, that is totally up to him...this is not his job and he certainly doesn't owe us anything. I'm not here to bash him or beg him, just looking for alternatives that might be close to as good...I agree with megaprime.."without dcd, titans will never keep advancing", but we will have to keep working...

Searching his recent posts makes it appear he's been busy in the Raphael (Touch Pro) forum. Wonder if he got himself a new phone? Or maybe he's just looking at porting the newer Raphael ROM to the Titan. Whatever, I am sure he's got a good reason for not being around... remember, this is a hobby for him, not a business, and anything he provides to us users is a gift.

dcd said he would get a Touch Pro when it was available. It makes sense that he somehow has one or surely will have one shortly. I hope he has as much fun with it as he had with his Mogul. Ditto for gc, also, when VZW releases its xv6850...... July or August, perhaps..... 2011 or 2012. ;-)

I don't see it there. I'd assume that he removed it. I'll wait for his 'official' release.
I don't think so, he hasn't announced it or anything. I know somebody jumped the gun on a previous release, where dcd was moving stuff between directories and it wasn't meant to be published...

So how long do I have to be here as a member (as much as you are) to give others a heads up on a new DCD ROM, especially since he seems to have shunned the xda-developers community? You might want to heed the age-old, wise advice: "Don't shoot the messenger!

Shunned how???????......DCD specifically said that if someone published one of his roms before he did that he would not contribute anymore to the site....as symyn said you should know better....
Seriously, if he was working on something new and he doesn't post because of someone "leaking" it before he posted it I will be sad. Just delete it and stop posting in this thread and wait until he is ready. We all enjoy DCD's work and hope he continues to support the titan community.
I love 3pre3 but I would flash back to DCD's roms just because they are so rock solid and functional.

the thread doesnt have to be locked. it was not accidental, the rom was there for a friend to grab. it was removed after he got it because it wasnt prepared like usual.

The question I would ask DCD is if he was done contributing to this forum for the reasons mentioned prior. I would hope not, but I understand also.

he didnt really sound surprised that it happened. i bet if he didnt get asked a **** ton of questions before he posts the new thread that there wont be any problems.

SOOOOO hopfuly I'll figure somthing out....... Are you gone DCD is that it for us and now I have to figure out the rest of the rom building tricks on my own or is there still light left....... cause its really werid around here now lol
