Does anyone tryed Sandisk 8Gb?
I originally ordered the 4gb stick for about $70 when i first got my phone because i heard it would work. search around the herald forums someone probably answered this already. sorry i can't be any more help.
If it is SDHC it will work up to 32 GB because the Herald supports SDHC-Cards

That one wouldn't work because it is a full size Sd card.

I bought a SanDisk 8gb Micro SDHC and wouldn't register on my WING. I quick formatted several times but didn't hit me to do a full on FAT32 format. Once I did that, the 8gb was registered. Much thanks to the forum!

Try ebay, just bought two for each of my phones for 40+(total for 2) with sd adapter and card reader, many different sellers on ebay, i just try to stay away from china sellers because of the shipping times.

ive had the 8gb from sandisk for 2 months now. it worked fine until now. my wing reads is very slowly now and my cpu does not even recognize it. i even got another card reader, it took me 3 hours to backup everything off the card through my phone via usb. im now back to the 4gb... i need my 8gb back so badly...
what about 16 or even 32gb ? is it worth to use one of these sizes???

I've seen several offers on ebay.com, but they were deleted.
Some guys in our german HD forum ordered Kingston 32GB microSD, but they were faked and didn't work - not recognized by Touch HD and formatting via PC only possible up to 2GB.
They paid a lot of money and want to get it back.
A second auction for a SanDisk 32GB card was a joke of some children which used their parent's account for having some amusement.
In the moment, is there any SERIOUS dealer who sells a 32GB microSD or must we wait further on?
There is a problem with 32 go (it heat a lot) so we can't find a 32 go yet.

you've seen 32GB SDHC cards, not microsd cards... I've been searching for the 32gb micro's for a while now
Although my 16gb had like 6gb left on it... so I would have 23gb of free space with the 32gb... hmm

But take a look on the price! People who want/need such a card are crazy to bid in such pricíng ranges!
1 auction out of the billions on ebay... and it was prob a leaked item from the manufacture... that doesn't make it readily available for us... PLUS the price would be THROUGH the roof!

Cheap SD cards on eBay are often fake, with fake capacities. I would avoid them at all costs.
Most major stockists (all that I have found) don't even list a 32GB MicroSDHC card. The biggest they list is a 16GB which is over 50 GBP, your going to be looking at well over three times that price for a 32GB one.

Would you spend over 150 USD with a seller who has 14 feedback, and only 2 of those for selling?
no, I wouldn't. Will wait until the 32GB are availble in Germany.
It was just an example, bought a 16GB Sandisk half a year ago from my pc dealer round the corner, it costs about 50 € which is app. 75 US $.
Would not pay more than 120 $ for such an item.

I've called the (german) sandisk hotline earlier this day and they told me that there is officially no 32GB mciroSD card sandisk by sandisk..... and he couldn't tell me if they will be releasing it in any time or not..... oh happy day

if you're asking which brand... ive always used sandisk, i have two 16gb (class 2) & an 8gb (class 6) card from sandisk, & have no problem with them, Kingston are also a quality brand.
i have had 2 cards die for no reason in about a 4 year period (always keep a spare now!), but this can happen.
if you are asking what size... go for the largest one you can afford.

you get a 1 year warranty, even on sd cards, if the card stops working within warranty period they will replace it.
HI All.....i just got off the phone with Viewsonic and the rep told me that she could only say for sure that an 8gb micro SD "HC" card would work with the G tablet.....she wasnt sure about a 16gb but knew a 32 gb would not work if it was "HC".....I wondered if folks here can verify that, and since most of the micro SD cards I see for sale are SD "HC".....if anyone could suggest a place to pick up a NON "HC" micro SD care at a good price....thanks a lot for all the help......
I use a 16 HC every day.
For the larger cards, I don't know that you can even get non "High Capacity" (HC) cards. The prices on these are generally not bad. The tech specs of the device say that you can expand up to 16GB through the SD slot, but that may be due to the shear fact that >16gb (aka 32gb) cards haven't be available to consumers without a ridiculous price since late last year. You can generally get 16GB SDHC cards for about $30 online.

Meritline has real good prices on SD cards and other things. You might check there. Some things ship from China so it takes a while to get them. I have bought quite a few things from them.

I run a 32gb SD HC card in my gtab and it works fine. You won't have any problems running an HC card.
So no one can confirm the 32G SDHC? I ordered one this a.m. and then saw this thread. I hope it works!

I've bought for my evo 3d transcend 16gb class 10 microsd, before one month, works flawlessly. Payed it 14€ at local store in croatia.
That is not my first transcend microsd, i had them 4-5 before, lesser capacity, all worked fine.
i've PNY class 10 32 GB it's really good
