[WM6.1] Merged Reversal 2.0 - R E V I V E D - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 ROM Development

Merged Reversal 2.0 - Windows Mobile 6.1
ROM Version 5.2.19.213 WWE - R E V I V E D
Well, here it is: version 2. Actually, I did not really intend to bother once more with any cooked rom for the Prophet. But when I read lately that Windows Mobile 7 has been postponed until end of 2009, I thought of trying it again. For WM7 I suspect new hardware will be necessary, and I just do not want to buy a new device for only one year. So I decided to keep my Prophet a little bit longer and try to put a decent version of WM6.1 on it.
General Information:
This rom is based on Cloudyfa's latest contribution as you can tell by the version and has been merged and reversed back to the WM6.1 standard as closely as possible. I stripped off any additional software that is not "original". After some experimenting I also found that IR and "Receive all incoming beams" are not interlocked anymore as it used to be. So, no bug I hope, and actually quite handy. In terms of the keypad backlight: I found on an official HTC Touch Dual that the keypad backlight does not switch on either when pressing the power button. So I assume this is an "official" behaviour and not a bug either...(?)...
I was also thinking about implementing transcriber and VOIP. But as this rom might also be used by non-English speakers, I thought everyone should choose themselves. You can find the cabs all over the place or download the older but complete version 1.51 directly from Microsoft (English, German & French only). I also decided to leave VOIP out as I read too many different opinions on it in terms of functionality and stability.
Finally, I made two versions: one non-UC (with accessible and bootable Extended ROM) and one UC-capable. The latter one has also an accessible Extended ROM but will not boot from it. Find the download links below - Jump/Soft/Hard SPL required!
I have tested this rom heavily over the last couple of days in any imaginable way and could not find a single misbehaviour. If you do find anything suspicious, please tell me and I will have a look into it!
Short overview:
- WPA2 (implemented by Cloudyfa)
- IR fixed and fully operational
- CommManager re-arranged (showing 8 of 12 functions)
- added CommManager link to Control Panel
- added OCX Skin for Windows Media Player
- minor registry tweaks
- general clean-up

I will try for sure.
removed extended rom lable (S4V.19209.01)
Anyway. I will do that on next release, and name it with my name.
So lazy to do that.

why dont you put your name on it. hihi.
It is okay too.

I think I like this! I will give it a try.

Nice ROM . Looks like an original one.
Good job chriskay.
I like this one.,

My first impression is very good, a splendid base-ROM. It is a bit to clean for my taste, but I prefer to add my favorites to my device by myself instead of being busy removing and altering what I don't like. So, a big thanks!
One small remark though (I have to, it is genetic) I think this commanager is to much Touch styled. In fact, the one in Korand's ROM is the most plain buttonstyled one (but is a pain to the eyes).

yeah, i know. i was looking around for some decent skins. but due to the neutrality of black also matching the original black dialpad, i thought it might suit just anybody best, since now, everyone can chose whatever theme colour they like, you see? moreover, the basic commmanager only supports 7 functions to my knowledge.

You are probably right. Anyway I have a habit about "greening" things up, so it don't bother me at all. If I bump in to a nice, neutral skin that matches the black dialer, I will remember you...
BTW you did upgrade the solitaire images, didn't you?

nope. this sort of "patch" might be nice for wm5. but the patched images just look rubbish compared to wm6 solitaire. only the cover images do look better. but that is not worth the "upgrade".

Now you know how often I have played Solitaire since I flashed WM6.... never noticed those upgraded images before!
BTW one thing I did like about Cloudyfa's extended design was the colored keyboard. Is it simple to install that one again? Wich files are involved?

i could provide you with the msim.96.dll which contains the green skin. but just copying it into the windows folder won't do the trick. i don't know if there is another way apart from recooking the rom. sorry!

Why is the top bar one solid colour?
or is that because of the screnshot program?

that is the official new design of wm6.1. i got used to it and now like it pretty much. looks a bit like vista now.
anyway, if you don't like it, delete registry key [hkcu\software\microsoft\today\windows mobile 6.1.tsk]

dear chriskay, can u upload WMP Skins (like in ur ROM) in cab file?
thanx in advance

Thanks very much!

recooking shouldn't be a problem, I you could upload that dll file I would be gratefull. Is it just a matter of replacing when cooking or is there more involved?
A lot of questions, but you did just that what I had planned to do, except from some minor details. You have saved me a lot of trial-and-error!

that is more or less exactly what i did. as i said, i am quite new to the cooking business. but it was quite some fun and interesting, and sometimes a pain in the arse... so, you should give it a try...
anyway, i upload the dll which just has to be replaced in the dump folder. BUT it is a module dll. so you can copy it right into the module folder or create one yourself with reversemode.exe. either way, before building the rom, you MUST use G'Reloc.exe. otherwise, it will most likely not work. that is at least my experience from replacing the touch.dll. i used neokit035 which still has g'reloc included. the same procedure is probably necessary when replacing any other module.
by the way, i was thinking to strip off the black commmanager skin and go for the basic blue one, since the black one has a tiny little minor flaw... it has got to be just perfect, you know (that is also genetic )?
p. s.: attached the entire module

[ROM][WWE][12/31/09][WM6.5.3.3 28205] Da_G's Test ROM, take 2!

This is a barebones stock WM 6.5.x ROM running 23409, includes support for all device hardware functionality, and nothing more on top of that. Should be as stable as you can get on a 6.5.x test platform
It's got a comm manager, the camera app, QuickGPS (but oops, the shortcut didn't make it to \tools) and that's pretty much it But it should be nice and fast!
This ROM is a beast as far as size goes (would be 95mb XPR compressed, it's about 160MB uncompressed)
Anywho, here's the link!
WM 6.5.3.3 - AT&T Fuze, uncompressed
Removed ArcSoft MMS from this build until I get a chance to fix it, so that way those who need it can install from .cab.
Let me know if you run into any corruptions or anything odd. And especially how it performs. Thanks!
TODO:
* MMS is currently not functioning correctly.
* SmartTouch wheel not functioning correctly.

Good to see you've got some "spare time" back. I'll be testing/reporting starting monday.. thanks for your awesome contributions! Yar!
I have been amazed with the changes in the design. Looking forward mate.
Just got it installed. Will report back after I get some programs installed.
Update:
Not a big noticeable difference when playing around with the phone in the speed area, but it does start up quite fast (into an operational state). There is a weird Zoom feature popping up when I click on some things (ex. Install FingerKeyboard and try to change the skin). Dashwire installs but is broken. The new button placement is quite easy on the fingers but I keep reaching for the top left for start.
Seems the appointments are being cut off on the bottom of this screen? So far so good. I've only had a few lock-ups but those went away after a soft reset and it's been running smoothly ever since. You wouldn't happen to be working on your Windows Mobile Image Update System again would you? I can't wait to see what comes out next.
None of my buttons are recognized in the buttons menu.
Good to see another Da_G test ROM.. am going to definitely test this when I can go home during lunch break! =0
hello
hello DA_G
downloaded and flashed this rom. overall as this rom is still in beta its still quite buggy for example the magnifying thingy and the standby screen but overall i think its still okay
INFORMATION FOR TOUCH PRO USERS!
you have to download the keyboard fix in order for the keyboard to function properly. i have attached the file here.
INFORMATION FOR ALL USERS TO FIX LAGGING SLIDE TO UNLOCK !
you have to download the slider fix in order to remove the lag. i have attached it as well. however, there is a issue of the bottom taskbar conflicting and eating into the slider.
files thanks to NRG and MF82
anyway, cant wait for a new update to this rom
shall try out battery life and report back in a few days time
hopefully can have a new rom by then
Bertrand
so far...
battery life so far is good
anyway there is a few bugs so far
1. the bottom of the lock screen often experience display errors like the picture posted above.
2. when you press the taskbar, the bigger taskbar will appear but the clock icon will open the battery information instead of bring us to alarm.
thats all for now. otherwise, a great rom. fast and stable and battery efficient. i have been using it to play music through the loudspeaker for almost an hour but battery has only decrease minimally.
so far very good, everything is very clean and stable, i LOVE that ie6 renders faster now. the volume rocker just opens up the status menu popup though, and my ptt button can't be mapped other than that, it's smooth with a low footprint, love it.
Downloading....
Are you open to share your kitchen? I really miss your fuze kitchens and am having problems with some apps after porting the latest builds...(Can't get the camera to work...)
Thanks
So, when can we get our hands on these tools?
With the size of devices internal memory getting larger, having uncompressed is getting attractive...
Send/Receive button isssues...
This latest rom runs great, but my only major issue is I can't enable voice command using the send/receive button on my wired headset.
Woot! Da_G's got a ROM out! Always great to see!
What radio to use?
Can anyone help me with picking the correct radio for my phone? Is the radio # ROM specific, phone specific, or area specific. I've tried a few ROM's that already had the radio within the build, in which performance has been so so. I'm trying to figure out what to go by.. phone, ROM, or area.... Help!!
Carrier: AT&T
Model #: HTC Touch Pro T7272
OS: WinMo 6.5 Pro
Radio ver: 1.14.25.05
Area: North Carolina (South East)
Thanks for your help!!

Most cooked roms don't have a radio along with them. They will however have a Rilphone.dll cooked in. This is generally where the rom chef will say "works best with "X"-radio". However, that does not mean you are tied to that specific radio.
In this subforum there is the stickied thread with radios/matching rilphone.dll cabs. Just try radios until you find the one that gives you the best battery/data speeds/etc.. Just always use the matching rilphone cab to go with it; for instance i use radio 1.14.25.05 and have the matching cab to go with it.
Once you flash a radio it's there until you a) flash another radio or b) flash an official carrier's rom, because those DO include radios. Just find the one you are happy with, put the rilphone cab on your storage card and each time you try a new rom, run that cab and you will be all matched up.
edit
One more thing. Unless your device is security unlocked you can only flash radios that come from a Fuze/Touch Pro. Once you have security unlocked the device you can flash other compatible radios. Most of that should be spelled out in detail in the radio thread.
Great to see you making ROMs again, Da_G.
Love the minimal aspect, so much better than many ROMs that come customized and stuffed with clutter.
great rom da_g, ive missed your kitchens. only problem i have is i cant install ezinput, phone wont boot after installing the cab.
edit: turns out im a n00b, need to have other packages installed in the rom for this to work. duh.
Just flashed the rom. Overall seems to work great, except some UI changes. I like the start/ok/cancel button on the bottom instead of the top. Don't have to mess around with the start button assignment any more. Also I am able to move around the icons in start menu now instead of just move to top.
GPS startup seems to be slow, taking a few minutes. With 23016 build, I get lock time in a few second.
One more thing: today's plugin lost the cursor so you can't use your up/down button to move around old style today's plugin any more (for my company goodlink).

just flashed the ROM. I've the same problem about appointments. When missed calls are present and screen is locked, the hour is covered by the bottom bar with the start, "notification" and "set" buttons...
Very good the new bottom bar to press the start menu, close programs and so on....

ROM dated 09-13-2009
Features:
Old, better looking (in my opinion) WM 6.5 GUI (more slick, takes up less space on your screen);
29% to 32% RAM consumption;
Touch delay fixed;
GPS lag fixed;
Navigation and Footprints hardware buttons change functions enabled by default;
Native support for .rmvb filetype;
HTC Bluetooth Fix - Check HTC site for further details.
English:
This is the same build as dancer_69's first post, but it is in 0409 World Wide English with all of original Iolite's OEMs (also in 0409 World Wide English), not the HTC Mega ones.
This is basically your Iolite ROM with just an updated OS to WM 6.5.
Download the ROM by clicking here.
Since I cook the ROM myself, I changed the bootscreen to one of my authorship with my nick in it and I do not allow you to use it or edit it without my consent. Those who don't like it, can do one of two things - either use another ROM or figure it out by themselves. Complaints or questions regarding that will not be answered politely. Credits go to ME. If you want your name in it, build your own damn ROM.
Useful software for your Iolite here, just ask or Google it.
TF2D or Manila2D included and working like a charm.
Please vote and let me know what you think. Also you can donate...
Inherent Windows Mobile bugs:
1- When you start your device, the Messaging application will start in a weird way. You can tell by seeing an "X" where the Task Manager should be and the Softkeys saying "Messaging" and such. It would appear that the device is frozen. No worries, just click "X". All is good.
2 - "Finger-mouse" not availble for build 23016.
Everything else works like a charm.
Hope you enjoy it.
Best regards.
Screenshots available - They are in Portuguese 'cause I got lazy and didn't take screenshots of them in English, 'cause I already made this exact same ROM in Portuguese before, but I assure you this ROM is in English as well as every single application.
Screenshots:
My Custom Theme for TF2D and Custom BootScreen:
By fingermouse you mean the scrolling middle hardware button?
This must works if you include smarttouch package from original Iolite's EXT folder.
I haven't any problem in this, or any other build with scrolling button with the presence of this package.

Hey, dancer_69...
No, by fingermouse I mean the ability to drag-and-drop Start Menu Items by long pressing them and moving your finger, as opposed to popping up the dialog "move to top" or "move to bottom"...
But thank you for your input and for having been an inspiration for cooking.
Best regards,
Thanks, billabongstaf, I've installed this Rom about 20 minutes ago. My first notice is that in the Manilla Tf2d when you click "all settings" it runs only connection setting and not all the settings... is it supposed to be so?

I'm betting it is supposed to be like that, since when I got my Iolite it did the exact same thing. The "All Settings" are regarding the Comm Manager, as to my knowledge.

Hey there, ZILLKA, you're welcome.
I only have stutering for about five or six seconds after boot 'cause some programs are still loading. After that no stutering for me. At all.
But if you still have that issue, try getting Chainfire's GFXBoost 1.1 by clicking here, installing it and then soft-resetting your device. Everything should work like a peach now.
Best regards,
not being a fag here but after flashing the roms to and fro, i guess with mega packages really screw the phone up well. LoL. Back to iolite packages! This is stable for me.

Hello
Looks ok the rom, but the clicking problem is really annoying. And it does not happen only in File Explorer, but in more applications that use file listings, making some of them unusable with the touchscreen, must use the directional keypad

I'm guessing you're referring to my other release, the one with HTC Mega packages, not this one, this does not have any touch delay... But even still, I know it can be a pain in the neck and so I'm whipping up a new ROM based on the HTC Mega's Official ROM, that came out September 24th (not the packages, but the ROM itself)...
Let's see how that goes...
Looks like I posted in the french instead of english thread before. I am actually using this one and am very pleased with it - thanks!
Also, you helped me with the signature in the other thread. Any idea how I can change the message size? I am having most messages not download due to size, so I have to click, re-send/receive email to view it. How can I change the settings to increase size?
Thanks again, still testing it, but it seems very good so far, minimal stuttering and nowhere near as much lag as the other flash I did.

Answering my own question:
To edit message size limits, open an email, hit the OK button in top right, and from your list go to the menu, then TOOLS -> Options, then tap your account. You can now edit the space settings and download options for attachments.

This is a intended to a direct replacement for a HTC/T-Mobile rom but based on a newer version of Windows Mobile. In addition to the standard packages from the T-Mobile 1.33 rom I have added the following applications
Advanced Config Tool
AppToDate
ArcSwitch Task Manager
Facebook
gsPlayer (ShoutCast capable)
HTC Wifi Router
Tiny Twitter
Remember to set the device locale, time and align the screen post install. If you do not (the first two) Windows Marketplace will not work.
Usual disclaimer: This works for me and is offered with the best of intentions, but I am not responsible for any device damage.
I would like to try this but first I'd like to know. Is the rom customized for T-Mobile or not? I hope it is a generic WWE version
EDIT : If it is customized, what does it have and will it work on other carriers as well?

It uses some of the packages found in the tmobile rom, however it doesnt have tmobile branding and will autoconfig for other networks
Sorry to bother you but could you upload on another site? I want to download this rom but zshare doesn't seem to work for me. Maybe megaupload or something similar? Thank you
Very nice WM 6.5.5 - found there's no T-Moble branding. This is just what I was looking but would rather have that you didn't add any applications. We could install them ourselves if needed. Is there a way to uninstall some of them?
Can you upload one for us without adding anything? I would have been happy with the WM 6.5.5 clean ROM, but there was many errors with installing apps. and didn't work well.
Thanks for upload
I am for clean ROM too.
I was finally able to try this after waiting 3 hours eek to download it from zshare. It was like having a dial-up connection all over again . So here's a mirror site where you can download the rom if you are experiencing the same problems I did : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YGX2BPP7.
Other than that, the rom is great, working fine, seems to be the best one yet. I only found annoyng the slider in the dialler and the volume animation when pressing the side volume keys (although the original animation is available in the phone, it is not activated when the hardware keys are pressed). I wish I knew how to cook if only to solve these minor issues with the rom in order to make it perfect.
Anyway, I will be sticking with this one for a while and would love if anyone could sort the things I stated earlier. So thank you for sharing this great rom with us

I'll have a look at that, has anyone seen it working correctly on a 23541 build?

Other than that, the rom is great, working fine, seems to be the best one yet. When I do one based on a future build I will keep that in mind. Don't want to have millions of versions of the same rom. Makes testing harder, quality goes south.

Thank you. That did indeed get rid of the scroll bar. Do you happen to know if there is a cab for a dialler without the black skin on top? I looked for one but couldn't find

No, sorry...
Been ruunning Johan's 6.5.3 for a couple of days with no issues, but going to give this ROM a blast now...
ring volume
I also found that with this rom, even though my volume is set to high, when the phone rings it's too silent. This didn't happen on the other roms I've tried and I have set the same stock ringtone. Any thoughts?
EDIT: Problem solved after another hard reset. Weird, but anyway, my bad
My screen doesn't light up when I get a new SMS/MMS. Does anyone know a fix for that?

Ensure you have notifications on. On the home screen go to the settings cog and select 'Sounds -phone profiles and system sounds'. Scroll down to notification sounds and make sure you have them turned on.
Tried the new Glassy thingy ROM today, nowhere near as quick or useable as this one. This is the best rom currently out there... I think I'm going to have to learn to cook - I want a 'professional' rom that's primarily for email and browsing, so no silly touchflo or titanium, todayagenda and iContact in rom, esmertec java to install operam mini 5 final (native beta too buggy)...

First thing I tried. I doublechecked, even with notifications on the screen doesn't light up. That can be confusing because I use silent often and it doesn't ring or vibrate but before the screen used to light up. Oh well...

Man, I didn't even think about trying that one. It looked horrible, at least to me. I like having touchflo because the windows mobile standby screen is not at all finger-friendly and titanium isn't really intuitive/useful. Besides, how does touchflo come in the way of e-mail or browsing? (those sure aren't the most resource-hungry apps) And it sure doesn't make the device slow, especially with this rom having the stock manilla wich was designed to run on top of the UI. I have to agree with you on this rom being the best yet. I'm using it too and am pleased with it. Do you really use opera mini instead of opera mobile? I found the latter to be much faster and more capable
Guys one thing you can do to get rid of the scroll bar in the dialer is open the advanced config tool in the start menu. Expand 'User Interface' and set 'Vertical Scrollbar width' to 0px. Not an ideal work around as it kills scroll bars system wide, however I have not found it to be awful so far, just scroll lists with a finger. This appears to be a bug in this build of Windows and needs patching of some of the HTC dlls.

[CLOSED] iPhoneUI [2010-05-22, Version 0.3.6a] - An iPhone shell for 480x800 phones

Hey!
I've been working on a project the 4 last months and it's looking pretty good now. It's only compatible with WVGA devices (480x800 resolutions).
What is it?
iPhoneUI is a shell for the Windows Mobile system. It works on the Windows Mobile 6.0, 6.1 & 6.5 systems.
It is maximized which means that this will "overwrite" your booring original windows homescreen.
It features a nicely made topbar, sliding between pages, a lockscreen and some widgets.
Before starting
*Please COMMENT & give me feedback and suggestions on what i should add to the application. Without you I won't be able to improve the shell.
*If you like my work, please be generous and donate a few bucks to support my work Donate here
Instructions
1. Go to my website (http://www.chabbeclub.tk)
2. Download the latest build & the .NET 3.5 cab from my website.
3. Install (if not already installed on your device) the dotnet.cab file.
4. Then install the latest iPhoneUI build
5. Soft-Reset device (if needed) and you're good to go!
Latest Changelog
Made changes in topbar
Remade the UnlockWidget. I've added a UnlockSlider.txt in iPhoneUI folder that the application now uses to view text in the unlockwidget.
Added option to change the Unlockslider.txt file in options menu.
Also added abillity to change the vibration pattern in the options menu.
Removed the battery charging icon and instead it will now show a dot (.) infront of the battery percentage when charging
Also deleted the ugly battery icon in topbar.
Problems/Bugs
**A serious bug which I at the moment can't seem to fix. The problem is that the multi-pages function only works with english and swedish devices. All other devices will only be able to get the first and last page.
Temporary solution to viewing all the pages for non-english/swedish devices
First, you need to download and install the latest build from my website.
Then go to Program(s)/iPhoneUI and transfer the Shellconfig.xml to your computer
Open it up with notepad
Press Ctrl + F and search for <targetFolder>\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\</targetFolder>
When it has found the text, change the targetFolder to where your programs folder is located. Unfortunately you have to do this manually.
Press save and upload it to the Program(s)iPhoneUI folder, if needed overwrite the previous.
Restart application and done! Now the multi-pages should work for all devices, even for the non-english/swedish.
Notice
This project is closed due to not beeing appreciated, and therefore don't expect to recieve any answers or help from me although I'll try and help you the best way I can. My website will still be up for those of you who wants the application.

Hey guys,
The difference is that it's using a fullscreen and because of that I have a topbar. But this app is slower and the iphonetoday app is better according to some, not me . But I've been working on it for 4 months now and it's really turning out... As if now, the iphonetoday is a little bit better but I'm working on it every day
Come on guys, be good sports and admit it's the first of iPhone clones to look exactly like a real one. Thumbs up chabbe11 and good luck with the development, you have tough competition
not really an iphone fan. but am a supporter to developers like you. Keep it up!
(Instead of this GUI, why not create your own? Need help, can look for me. Of course, this is not to dampen you, but to give more options for you. )

Trevligt att prata med en svensk. Lägg dock märke till att den är väldigt seg. Jag släpper dock 0.2.1a imorgon som innehåller en hel del förändringar, design förbättringar och snabbhet

I agree. you seem like a great developer. Why not add some features that aren't available even on iPhone... like widgets... music player, picture frame viewer, etc. like with Android?

Best show on TV right now
Like we all know, the competition makes things better.
I just installed it, to try it out. Unfortunately as you might be aware too, it is too slow and even the graphics seems to be a bit enlarged (Not at all eye candy). To be frank, i did not even explore all the options before i uninstall it.
Thought of having some more versions of wait, before i can try again.
Definitely this app is lot behind the IPhonetoday. I see more potential in having a revolutionary work like 'TouchXperience' UI. It really brings out the new ideas in how else the UI can be...
Just my few thoughts out for you...

Sure thing, thank you for beeing honest.
I'm well aware that this is very very slow and that the graphics isn't the best. But I'm trying to fix all of that in order to release a good beta, or even the complete version of the app. Thank you though for giving me feedback
I just want to inform you that I'm releasing the 0.2.1a version tomorrow. I'm going through final steps at the moment
though i was never really an iphone fan, i like the fact that people like you try to create things in one way or another.
when the time is ripe and when possible this app can be skinned to look as much as unlike an iphone as possible, that would be something! (me thinks)
for the time being, keep up the good work!

Many thanks to AMDZero once again for helping me out with this build as well.
welcome to the chefs level.
looks good and feels good...but...
I use Myphone mainly, their is a updated version, the one installed does work after D/L and soft reset.
I could not get my live.com email to work clicked on link in setup and it brings me to live.com page . Not really what I wanted or am used to.
Where did yo get the "mainmenu" I like the task switcher that's in your version nice addition.
In NO way do I have the ability to "cook " a rom but I'm only letting you know what I found.
Thank You for what you do ( & AMD)
Every time I add programs I get that stupid warning that its third party and if I add it my hair will fall out. LOL
still playing......
Went back to ninja op7 mail was a deal breaker...I lost patience trying to fix it .I sure its a simple fix but over 6 hours with the same rom is a record LOL
Thank You I'll try the next installment
Looking good Ckirkp!
Here is a zip file with myphone cab (for users) and myphone oem package (for cooks).
I will use the myphone update in my next rom. Thnx 2 AMD for putting that link on here.
I honestly thought I got rid of all the live.com stuff. I know it's not showing up so far in what I am cooking now. I'll keep in mind and maybe have 3 levels of rom: Full, Base, and Lite.
MainMenu is standard from 21904 or dc23 i believe. Task switcher is the same. I didn't take any of those things out or add them in. I'm still learning all the basics to cooking so I'm leary to adding stuff if I gotta mess with the rgu files lol.
Thank you for what you've said. It gives me confidence that (eventually ha ha) I can cook up awesome roms like Amd and Ninja And give people variety since I plan on doing 6.5.3 and 6.5.5

I would put this on Modaco, but for some reason I cannot make posts or do anything on there. I have been a member since June and I've emailed the mods a couple times letting them know that I can't do anything but read message boards and I have yet to hear from them
I wish they would fix my account!
Thanks for the compliment O, it's not new version of swype I don't think. It's from 21904 I believe (could be wrong however)

Yeah the new version is a lot better specially the latest build. The buttons are bigger and it has vibration for tapping instead of swyping. My only gripe is that it's harder to skin then the original version. I can give you the package if you want to try it out. Of course you have to remove the old swype first, that is why I didn't bother with a cab.

Yeah I will give the new swype a try. Right now I'm trying to figure out why myphone is giving me hell when trying to cook into the rom I am currently working on. I like the swype from your roms, because the buttons are bigger and it seems much easier to tap and swype than the older version I have.
I would eventually like to figure out how to skin stuff but that is in the near future.
