Why don't you guys use the search function? Dont you have a mouse and a keyboard? Is that so hard to do?

I am aware of those roms and have taken a look in it already.
But pmmfleandro is looking for a branded rom and as far as I know the portuguese rom in Netrunnerat's folder isn't branded.
I'm still looking for the pthpd.kdb file to make the Portuguese XT9 cab which is working with a 16 keys hardware keypad. And I am hoping that the file (which isn't included in the rom you post) is in another Portuguese rom.

i'm serching the one that comes with the TMN locked phones, and comes with some apps developed by novabase for TMN...

Contact TMN directly, they provide the .cabs for other unbranded PPCs... I had a dump of that TMN rom in the past, but delete it.

anyway, if someone can upload the dump files of that rom would be nice...
I'm having some problems with keyboard.
After flashing the PT rom the numeric keyboard only intputs numeric values.
I have a HTC Dual from orange with 16 keys (12+4).
Do I have to get some special rom ?
PS: I used the more recent rom and problem was solved.

Hi,
There are lots of us who have flashed our M1000/XDA2 to SE on Orange UK. This link should help you:

It will give you a link for a UK extended ROM, then all you need is to pick a ROM version (2.02t is the best in my opinion!), make a folder with 2.02t files as well as the extended ROM, and run HimaUpgrade.exe. It will take about half an hour.

It is NOT POSSIBLE to flash or replace the ROM on your device with a dumped rom. At the moment there is no portuguese ROM available.

Same thing here, I have a htc tytn with the portuguese rom (bought to TMN)! And I have some problems in my wireless connection when I connect to a wireless network that requires a certificate! ...... without the portuguese rom we are stuck.. because If anything goes wrong in the upgrade process we don't have any manner to downgrade to the original rom.. and by the way we loose the guarantee..

I successfully dumped the English ROM off my Touch Dual today. I would suggest the following:
1. Find one of the more experienced cooks who would be willing to take the WWE dump I uploaded and make an NL version of it
2. Find out if and how the Touch Dual can be flashed with custom ROMs (I don't believe any of us have tried)

but if you have dumped a rom ... you cant flash it back to a device! you must wait for a jumpspl, hardspl or sspl version.

I cant dump the rom. When I try to check the partition size, all four partitions have the values:
real nr of sectors: 1 - 512.00byte (0x200)
So I'm stuck at dumping the rom.....
Maybe I've done something wrong?

I also tried a lot of cabs, reg. changes etc, but always the same problem. I'am able to get the Dutch library working, but de Touch Dual acts like a 20 button device.
Well, there must be some intelligent humanbeing here on xda-dev who can solve our problems .
I think cooking a Perfect rom (Dutty's Style) is WAY more difficult than this little problem... Anyone got the solution?

if you follow the steps in this topic, you will be able to enable the dutch XT9 on your WWE device, I did so too. in the post below mine, you'll find the neccersary (<- I hate that word, I can't spell it right ) files.
Sorry for cross-posting, but I'm in dire need of an English ROM. I love the unit, but hate the OS language. Been torn between throwing it in the wall and sleeping with it

hmmm...16 key keyboard. As soon as I figure out how to dump the ROM I could test and see what happens

Dumping using the method for the Touch does not work for some reason... At a first glance, it appears that the reason is the allocation units on the device being different but I think there is more to it

The problem is, I cannot receive MMS in my country... and I use the same settings I used before with my French ROM.... I mean, automatic settings supplied by HTC for my provider...
I'd like to try another ROM just to know if it's a ROM or radio problem..

Now u need dump your old french rom.With it tazio tool, 0x800
And find all cab files in dump.Copy in your device and install it.I think will have cab settings mms french in old rom

Since you are in a HTC T4242 forum, if it is not stated otherwise, you can be sure than what you find is for the official phone.
Again, the official T4242 and the clones do not share many things, except their look. Their hardware have nothing in common, so don't ask for support on the official devices' forum, we can't do anything for you.
