any ideas?
thanks

Try clearing all pairing on the headset:
1. Switch off headset
2. Switch on again and keep holding down the power button until you hear a beep in the headset.
3. Hold the answer button while at the same time switching off the headset.
Switch on the headset again and pair it with your phone.
If this doesn't work then you could try posting your question in the Kaiser forums.

you are a legend mate, i am now in full wireless bliss!

Bluetooth a2dp & headset conflict

Hi,
I use my iMate Startrek with a set of a2dp headphones (the iMuffs), and I have to manually tell the phone to connect to the iMuffs using a2dp through the "Set as wireless stereo" option in the settings, can this be done automatically?
Another thing is that if I get a call while listening to music, the microphone on the headset doesnt work very well, and I have to shout for the person to hear me. I think that the mic in the headset is not being used. Has anybody had this problem and solved it?
Does anyone know if there are some registry settings that need to be tweaked to get these problems solved?
Thanks a lot.
I use an itech s38 and doesn't have a problem with the mic.
I do have problems with automatic connections.
after setting up properly, if the headset gets disconnected,
the next time it reconnects by itself is always on the headset profile
and mostly only connects if i make a call
So even when no indicator is shown I would assume that seconds
before ther call is answered the sound would be transfered to the headset
that's not so much of a problem
what really sickens me is that if i wanted to
listen to music via the headset when headset profile is connected
i would have to
1.hit the stick once to go to comm manager
2.hit "2" to turn off BT
3.exit to make sure action is done
4.hit center to go to comm manager again
5.hit "2" turn it on (making sure it doesn'ty connects to headset profile first)
6.hit Settings to go to BT settings (hit one or enter to getto that's two presses)
4.hit menu
5.hit devices
6.hit menu
7.hit set as wireless stereo
8.hit done
9.hit done again
10.hit exit
11.hit start
12.hit windows media
13.mess another big while in windows media playlists
..........
now that's too much ... many places i could use the home button
to exit quickly .. that's not what's frustating
what i need actually is a shortcut to the BT devices page
and a smarter profile to connect to wireless stereo for me
without having to turn off headset profile first
I am using HP Stereo Bluetooth headset with my QTEK 8500. It works fine besides the reconnection. If I turn the headset off in order to reconnect I have to go to the BT settings and set the headset to Stereo Headset again. I beleive your problem ocurs because your headset is also a handsfree headset, which HP is not.
I do beleive this behaviour is by design. Although I do not seen to understand the logic behind it.

Would this work with the Hermes??

hi
I walk to work and back everyday and I listen to my DAB radio all the time.
Problem is (and I realise its not the biggest problem in the world) I can't hear my phone so always miss calls.
Can anyone think of a solution so I can get audio from my DAB into the Hermes so I can listen to the radio and when I get a call, it interupts the audio? I thought about using the mini usb but that only has a mic in and if I use that, if the phone rings all they'll hear is my radio
Its a big of an expensive solution but would this work?:
http://www.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProduct.action?product=TMR-BT10
So I bluetooth audio to my Hermes then use the wired headphones/mic to listen to it and if I get a call, the audio stops?!
Would that work?
thanks in advance

You could just have your phone on ring AND vibrate and keep it in your pocket so you feel it.
Just an idea
Try these instead. http://www.plantronics.com/north_america/en_US/products/cat1150057/cat5420035/prod29780013
I have had a pair for about a year and the sound is great. You can connect the included dongle your DAB or any other non blue tooth audio device and set up a link between your phone and the dongle with the headset. While you are listening to your music from the DAB if you receive a call the headset silences the music and you can answer the call directly from the headset. When the call ends your music resumes automatically. I may be a little pricier than device you listed but works like a charm.
Note make sure you look at the 590a not the 590e. The 590e does not include the dongle.
Also don't purchase it directly from Plantronics site. You can get it for about $100 if you search the web for it.

On my Tytn doesn't work handsfree

I'm newbe so please be patient....
Vodafone 1605 HERM200
WM6 CE 5.2.1437 (Build 17944.0.3.1)
ROM Shap's 3.54b (italian)
HTC Audio Manager 1.02 (Build 614.712)
Windows Media Player 10 Mobile 10.3 Build 17944
I've bought two handsfree with the goal to enjoy music like a mp3 player, these are the links:

Of course i connect headphones on the output jack...
The first adapter when connected correctly stops internal loudspeaker and let sound flow through the headphones, but the call answer button doesn't work. When there's an incoming call if i was listening mp3, the music goes low, i hear the ringtone but nothing happens pressing the handsfree button. To answer/abort the call i have to press talk/end buttons on the phone.
The second adapter has also buttons to control music playback (volume + -, next, previous, and other two buttons showing an icon i don't understand...). When i connect this handsfree nothing happens at all: it doesn't mute internal speaker, it doesn't play music through headphones, no button produce some effect.
I've googled for days and only found an accessory shop's forum where a similar problem was reported to customer support: they ended saying that Vodafone 1605 doesn't support these types of handsfree. But i guess they're wrong...
So does anyone use with success these type of accessory? If yes, what could be my problem? Do i miss a driver? need a newer ROM/WM?
Thank you for your help!!!

Bluetooth not default while speaker plugged in

Hi guys, I'm having a problem with my bluetooth on this phone. I plug my phone into my cars speakers to play music and have my bluetooth headset on my ear for phone calls. On my Epic4G it automatically used bluetooth when a call came in.. but this phone doesn't. When I get a call I can answer it with my bluetooth physical button but it uses the phone mic and the car speakers. Is there anyway to fix this? I cant stand unplugging my aux cable EVERYTIME i have to answer my phone
thanks

Bluetooth Sound routing bug? Please test for me

With Bluetooth on and paired/ connected to a headset (I use a Jambox in my case).
If the phone is muted or set to vibrate only, then no problem.
But if the phone has Sound On (ringtone comes on with a call), I answer the call and the call does not go to the earphone speaker on the phone or the Jambox but to the phone speaker instead.
Pressing the Speaker or the Headset icons during the call does nothing.
I can also hang up the call from the Jambox. So it has the call but not the sound.
I can hear hissing turning on and off on the Jambox as I press the Headset icon, as if it is attempting to send audio over but it stays with the phone.
Muting the phone or setting it to vibrate cures the problem. So does turning off Bluetooth. Restarting the phone does not help.
Can anyone please replicate?
