I'm not sure this is the good place to ask but let's have a try anyway :
I'm the happy french owner of an ipaq 3870 running WN2003(english) As some of you may know hp/compaq is not selling any french update for 38XX serie ! My plan was to translate a dumped rom .. i look and found ER2003 who seems to be able to view/extract files from .nbf file... I tried but it ask for a password ?! I guess this password was used to encode/lock rom but i was not able to find it.
So my questions are :
Does anybody knows a good tool to manage/help translating this rom ?
Does anybody knows the password for ipaq/38XX serie/3870 with ER2003 ?

Hello guys here. I have read much from here, BUT the question is how can I get a Dopod 696 Rom without damage? most of the roms listed here are damaged.

I have already downloaded the DOPOD 696 ROM, but I keep recieving "Wrong size" warning. How can I dump the rom into my XDA2?

hello Hu0033, I've download the file CHS_dopod696_15200.rar from the ftp server, however, do you know the unzip password for it.

I downloaded it last month and works perfect. hope this link still works:

this RAR includes two copies of ROM and ExtROM. that is why it is so large...
Dopod696 has some useful tool and game in ext rom.
