It does find networks by manual search but again can't register.
Can anyone please help.

I know we have only two devays firmware, but one a radio module
update with any off rom...
Coulkd u plz be a bit detailed. I'm a novice at this I must confess. Can u specify the exact file and where I can get it.

Hi guys please help me,
i tried the program "xda manipulator" for some reason it dousnt seem to work.....
my main problem isnt the reception,,,its fine everything works well only that when i try to make a phonecall it said that my service provider is not available or that its locked or something dous anyone know how to fix this.

Xda manipulator does not work with xda2, if you wish to unlock your phone to use any sim you need to use xda2unlock.

Please can anyone tell me where to find a good and stable ROM for flashing my HTC Tianxi T9188. My brother brought it back from China and left it with me. Unfortunately, I dont understand the Chinese language it came with and need to flash in an English ROM to be able to use the phone.
Its a shame that I have such a nice phone but cant use it due to the language issue.

HTC Tianxi is the China only released version of the HD2. Some differences - CPU, RAM and TD-SCDMA. To me this seems a slightly lower spec'd phone than the HD2.
Check out pdadb.net - run pdacomparer. Doubt there would be any other language version's. At your own risk you could try some HD2 - built roms or ICS Andriod roms.
Thats the problem tx. I was hoping I culd get an English ROM for the HTC Tianxi T9188 and not have to experiment with the HD2 ROMs, considering that both phones have different hardwares. Thats the risk I dont wanna take cos of the possibility of bricking the phone. I did come across an Android ROM though but I can see CHS in the name of the ROM which tells me that it is still a Chinese ROM all the same.
Another problem I am facing is flashing the HardSPL for the Tianxi. It us using SPL 1.27.0000 and I cant find a hardspl flasher which is compatible with it. I have searched here and in other forums and Google and any other place you can think of, still nothing. Have tried the ones I have seen online and always met an error. Any help here will be most appreciated.

If you have SD Card try loading (SD version) in the root and (MAGLDR) boot etc. If that works then it may take NAND versions.
Other than experiment, sorry cant be of more help.
I have tried all the hardspl flashers I can find in the thread you gave ... from HSPL to HSPL4. Non of them could work for the Tianxi. All gave the same BAD ID error and wont flash the HardSPL.
Please help me anyone ... I am getting frustrated by this

Here is what I am looking for.
I have a Chinese unbranded Android Mobile which comes with Android 4.0.4. But there are several issues with this device. Apps are crashing every now and then. Also if there is a call that I can not answer (goes to Missed call list) thereafter my contact crashes. I have to clear all the contact storage and then even can open the dial pad. Tried to factory reset with no luck.
I want to reinstall the firmware completely. I was looking for ways to do so, mostly I came across posts which talks about firmware release for branded phones. This is not branded and I have searched net, found nothing that talks about such phone. The About Phone shows Model no UC-W7L.
Can you please help me how can I completely reinstall android 4.0.4 on this device?

you have to find the firmware of your phone search in google if you find one you can install it by flashing in a flash tool
don't know more abot china phones anyways first you have to find the rom(firmware)

Thanks for replying. The problem is that it is not a Chinese phone that has been purchased in India, rather it was bought in China. Not being able to find any details about this phone. Is there any other options?
Just wanted to know if I can find a phone of same model, is there any option / way to flash the rom using the new phone?

Hi, I'm trying to put (run) a service on my replica Samsung S5 (MTK6582) which I bought from China.
But every time I try to put the service on, the settings crashes. (settings-services).
Has any of you met this kind of problem before?
If so, can you please give me some ideas how to fix this issue.
Oh I don't know if this is important, but the phone runs on android 4.2 and installed firmware (Rom) is SM-G900S_V05.

You might be very hard pressed to find anyone that can help with this. Very few people get clones and no developers get them. The main issue is the hardware is never what it says it is and the software is almost always the same, they will make minor edits to make it look like the os they claim it is and then change a text file to show a different OS version.
My advise would be to pull a logcat and post that. This will atleast get you what is erroring out.

I just flashed another firmware which I found at NeedRom, but the problem still exist.
How to get a logcat ? do I need to install ADB or some other app?

Had you followed the rules you agreed to when you joined you would not be asking me that question.
There are hundreds of ways to do it. There are apps and adb.
Ill be honest I think your issue is gonna be the OS itself.
