hello, is anybody using GSM banking? In previous version of the ROM I was no able to put my bank PIN code - "put something" message was still there... Is it the same in this ROM?

hey i tried to install this rom , but after installing i have my old rom , it did not update, am i doing anything wrong
i was previously using PV wm6.1 19949.1.2.0 , but after installing Core 20270.1.3.1, i went and saw in ABOUT , it shows 19949.1.2.0 !!!
Please help me???

i installed this rom last night , every thing works fine but there are 2 main problems i am facing with this first is the lighter one that there is fan flickering on the camera , second it the major one that every time i soft-reset my device it stops at the second boot screen and never wakes up until i attach it with the power supply.
Anyone has any solution for this..

Downloaded from PDAVIET and updated. Wonderful! No camera flicker, don't know about A2DP, because I don't use it.
Does anybody manage to connect to wifi wpa2 psk using this rom? I have trouble in doing so.
has anybody found it restarting....it restarted in-front of me once....but often I found the phone with network set-up notification, which ideally should come once while first boot....

whenever the battery is lower than 35% it starts restarting by itself

spend some time and revert to 19212, the AADP problem doesn't exist. It seems the bluetooh module is the same as the one used in WM5, which is working most of the time. The only problem which exists in WM5 is when using the headset to pause/resume playback, the pause is always working, but not the resume-playback, Howerver it is fixed in WM6. Well, I think this problem is more tolerable than the one in WM6..so not complaining

how do you download it once you are there? Everything is in Vietnamese. I can't seem to find the link anywhere except a button which after i click it it's asking me to register and again in Vietnamese so I can't even register.

After installed today, i checked that windows media player was abruptly playing mp3 files...so i have to installed tcpmp or pocket music instead.

hard reset your atom once,
use GS player to hear your mp3 and a good pair of headphone sound amazing.

The activesync keep coming out after 1-2 minutes after I install this rom. Any suggestion to make this thing disappear?

Oh yes.. I just test flashing this ROM and the opera link is incorrect I think.
The last version do not have this issue.
I've got the same problem with ACTIVE SYNC and leaving memory and it's actually in this version and the version before. First version with Manilla 2D (PDAVIET ROM Core 19971 Final) doesn't have this problem... Is there a possibility to handle or change it???

Soft reset the device twice or more, then the active sync won't bother you no more...

Sorry, my fault.. the M2D will start anything named OperaL.exe in \Windows
So only old beta Opera will work, opera beta 2 does not work.
But the performance of opera beta 2 is better.
You may try some old release.
It work when I install opera b2 to folder windows.
But google map is not work. How can i fix it.

Doesn't Opera eat up too much RAM? (On my device with 19971 ROM, starting Opera always results in all other apps terminated, including TouchFLO.)

Hello, can't just PDAVIET guys do something more basic without so many additional applications? I'd really like to create my own ROM with 20924 core but most of current ROMs are XIP port proof and package proof (contain funny "betta make your own rom" file insted of standard packages).
Your ROMs are great but most of those apps are not necessary.
Before some ROMs were released by You in 2 versions: basic and PDAVIET-like .
Would You be so kind and create plain, clean WM6.1 (20924 core based) ROM with standard OEM packages? I don't think it will be hard for such ROM cooks as You.
i have flushed my device and now stuck in the boot screen....

Err, wait, who are you writing this to? The author of the ROMs is TranMinhMan, a mod of PDAVIET. Sometimes he creates two versions, a full one with much software preinstalled, and a light one, which contains only the basic system. Both are published by himself on PV. And for some ROMs, like this one, he doesn't make the light version. But you could ask him personally on PV. Until now I have the impression that he is open to any suggestions and/or requests.
Either way, I don't know about T2M reading this forum...

How to Flash this ROM
If you don't know what is HardSPL, STOP! You need to read this before you continue. This ROM is only for GSM devices. For CDMA ROMs, look here.
I release my ROM in flashable microSD format, mainly because:
To prevent newbies just running an .exe file without knowing what it is
Less space in the compress release
microSD flashing is the SAFEST way to flash.
Can't wait? on to flashing!
What You Need
Zip or 7zip extractor for the compress file. You can download 7zip here
USB cable if flashing from ActiveSync
CustomRUU Wrapper (download it here) if flashing from ActiveSync
microSD formatted to FAT32 if flashing via (micro)SD method
Flashing via ActiveSync
- Make sure your battery level is above 50%, or the flash will not continue!
- BACKUP ALL THE CONTACTS/FILES YOU NEED!
extract RAPHIMG.NBH from the compressed file, rename it to RUU_Signed.nbh
put the RUU_Signed.nbh on the location where you've put the CustomRUU Wrapper.
Connect your Touch Pro/Fuze to your PC via USB cable.
ActiveSync should run and connect your device. Wait for the icon to turn GREEN.
Run the Custom RUU Wrapper and follow the steps on the screen
Flashing via (micro)SD Method
- Make sure your microSD card is formatted to FAT32, or else your Touch Pro/Fuze won't detect the file.
- at least have around 40% of battery. I've done it with 23%, but just to be safe, make sure you have enough juice left
- BACKUP ALL THE CONTACTS/FILES YOU NEED!
extract RAPHIMG.NBH from the compressed file and put it to your SD
Do a HARD RESET
with your stylus, press the RESET button while holding down the VOLUMN DOWN button and ENTER button. It should go to diagnostics (rainbow screen) mode.
release the RESET button, but continue holding the VOLUMN DOWN and ENTER button until you see "This operation will delete all your personal data..."
press VOLUME UP button to hard reset.
while resetting, press VOLUMN DOWN button to go back to diagnostics (rainbow screen) mode.
if done correctly and your microSD is formatted to FAT32, it should say "Loading..." or else you will just see the rainbow screen.
Press POWER button to flash your ROM and wait for it to finish. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR BATTERY!
When the flash finishes, press the RESET button. DONE!
UC Ready ROM
- this ROM is UC ready. What is UC? Check it here.
- NOTE TO NAVIGON USERS: If you are using your Navigon SD to flash and setup UC, you need to rename the 2577 directory first otherwise UC will not work correctly (thanks urys)
For AT&T Fuze Users
- screwed hardware keyboard? Download the fix below (see post attachment) or download it here
- to setup your connection problems:
Download AllTheWay's AT&T Settings Cab from here (Thanks AllTheWay)
On Start->Settings->Tab "Connections"->Connections->Manage Existing Connections->Tab "Proxy Settings", uncheck "This network uses a proxy server to connect to internet"
On Start->Settings->Tab "Connections"->Connections->Tab "Advanced"->Select Network, change both pulldowns to "Media Net" (Thanks Reefermattness)
If you still have some problems (weather in TouchFlo3d not updating), try this (thanks AlienHairball):
On Start->Settings->Tab "Connections"->Connections->Tab "Advanced"->Select Network, change both pulldowns to "My ISP"
if you edit "My ISP" make sure it's on "Auto" instead instead of either "My ISP GPRS" or "ATT GPRS"
On Start->Settings->Tab "Connections"->Advanced Network->Tab "HSDPA/HSUPA"->make sure that "Enable HSDPA/HSUPA" is set

q about the blackstone port, have you noticed the small text issues reported with the PROven ROM? where some places in the rom and in apps, the ported resolution doesn't work out too well...
Is that battery display part of the BlackStone ROM or did you get that from somewhere else? Is there a CAB available for the battery meter?

HSDPA/HSUPA is enabled by default, icon will switch to H or G depending on your location.

I tried that cab yesterday and it didnt work at all. I installed, soft reset and the symbols changed, but the battery didnt lol.

You also need to install SDKCERTS.cab.
Finally uploaded the ROM. Whew! Let me know your suggestions to improve the ROM
been waiting to check this one out... as far as the rest of the rom is concerned, it's awesome! very fast and responsive, and very vanilla...
however... big problem...
g-sensor doesn't work! doesn't work from calibration, teeter or album... tried flashing twice and 3 hard resets... any ideas? i would work on trying to fix it, but too much of a PIA if i can't cleanly extract the rom
checked it with htcrie, dll files for the sensorsdk package and oemdrivers dll are there and correct sizes. the reg setting differ a little from proven's BS port, but only on angle rotations, so something weird is going on... can't test anything because the latest version of htcrie crashes when saving...

heh, I was testing more on the major functionalities that I haven't tested g-sensor. Fixed in the new version

Using it for a day, nice rom.
Not very special but stable and fast.
HSDPA won't work by me, have a 20 euro data abbo by KPN, with another rorm i had the H symbol but flashed another roms and never had the H symbol anymore.
DSLreports give me 33kbits very very f&cked up speed for 20 euro's.
(This rom is not the reason for my slow speeds!)
The adressbook do not have de abc etc at the right side not possible in de options or will not work.

I'm using t-mobile nl abo and it's pretty fast for the abc's, it's working fine on mine I've only added it on v1.01 maybe you installed 1.0?
I intend to make the beta release a lite one, watch out for something special
I only have abc etc above the adressbook not on the right side.
Maybe tomorrow i will flash 1.01 if i have time.

Up to now I use this m2d version, with a bit of modification.
1. Change the m2d back to windows folder to decrease the lag for loading m2d
2. Delete some aps (I've prefer to use extended_rom)
3. Open extended_rom
4. Add some apps, such as Advconfig 3.3, m2dc, quickmenu, cabbatchinstall...
5. Make it UC
After that, I've installed additional apps to storage card and extended_rom via cabbatchinstall (almost 40 apps).
In my opinion: its very impresive as seen here (still using some memory for activesysnc)
And yes, it use netcompactframework v3.5

For me, it's too late.
For the others, please try it and inform the memory status.
i try to capture immediately as soon as possible after flashing!
also i searched a capture utility that doesn't require to installation on device..
result is like below..
GREEN is BACK!!
Everything is green again.. even it is tooo greeen..
It is not impressive with 17 mb after flash. Storage is quite good 47MB !!! though.
will wait for others to confirm as right now i am using DioXda's 755 1d-Lite II rom and i should say it rocks with blazing speed and stability. It hasnt crashed, Wi-Fi works, bluetooth works, have loaded some apps on it(music Cab, Music tab, fring, M2DC 0.27, Quickmenu, fileexplorerext, oggsync, memmaid, netfront browser, xpdf , htc keyboard Rc2 and lang files and couple more some in mem, some on storage card. I get sustained memory of around 18-20MB and with 2mb PP everything opens quite fast.
i agree with you about memory status..
i realize some other little color incompatibilities. eg. icons in call history are still blue-black, there was another bluish item i saw that i couldn't remember now..
There is no WPA2 support i think.. because i cannot see any enc. option in wifi configure section..

i'm glad to see new build numbers, too! but i dont know what new features added or bugs removed with this version.. anyone who knows?
if it brings only tiny changes that don't affect us much, i don't want to go with this new version..
if there is any useful improvement in this build, someone can use it as a base rom and make a new green (NOT greeen as a hulk) or blue rom.. maybe varanusvincent or dioxda2 might be interested in this..
Yeah, i have tried this ROM, This is new build but i didnt feel the different between This ROM with Lamsons M2D 19974 before, except the color and welcomehead, maybe someone can explain wheres the true different?
I hope next vincent or dioxda2 built some new ROM M2D with Black color diamond maybe...MIB(Manilla 2d In Black)
