hello people... i have just gone thru just about every rom there is for my atom in this forum... but i was wondering if the legendary rom makers here on the atom thread could make a very simple "VANILLA" rom? like just plain htc or o2 apps themes and splashscreens... and just let us "rom leechers " install our own cabs and stuff...
just a thought...

yes rom master garmin! like, just all the basic wm6 (calculator skin,keyboard) and o2 or htc standard files (splashscreen and such)... that would be nice...
totally no 3rd party apps...
that kinda gives the you rom makers,a lot less to think about,regarding what to put and stuff...
i came from the tornado forum here and the rom builders there were into vanilla/clean rom
i dunno maybe i should get over that... it would be nice tho...

Logic it's a VGA device with all Hardware different, we can port XIP and build but never the OEM parts

The image file is also bigger than the memory our prophets have!
NEVER EVER TRY TO FLASH A ROM BIGGER THAN THE OFFICIAL ROMS!!!!!

I dumped the ROM, and was looking at things in it, but then my spare hard drive (what I was playing around with it on) died and now I can't get it to dump properly! I hate windows and old hard drives!!!

Cloudyfa told me, Diamond ROm is not so good.
But no Problem. I will try Gullum's ROM later, based from Diamond's ROM.
But I will buy Diamond this Year, if it is available in Germany.
Soon. Juni 2008.

the ROM that he mean is Windows Mobile 6.1 and not the ROM from Cloudyfa.

yes. I am Indonesian.
Actually transformer is an old ROM, with old methode of cooking.
I suggest you use this Shadow Touch Edition 1.0
And install 3D Cube later.
But as I said. This is an old ROM. And with Cube take a lot of baterry drains.

Yes, I was dumped my german iolite (thanks to manaamanaa for his help), and create a working kitchen. I´ve build a rom, but without CID-unlocker its only a training.

Jupp, it´s german, because I´m a german too. And why don´t other peoples place a ROM? I don´t know. Maybe, I am the best cooker for german Iolite-ROMs in this time?
Okay, isn´t so, it´s so, that the Iolite in Germany is only a short time in stores. In a quarter of one year it maybe looks other.

I´ve a XDA Guide from O2. My ROM works only of XDA Guide´s without CID-unlock. I hope, a programming-guru writes a CID-unlocker in next time.

Up to now the HTC Iolite is only shipped by one company in Germany so far. That is "O2" and they call their slightly alternated phone "XDA Guide" but it is more or less still the same cellphone.

No, you can´t install ROMs from other devices, because the hardware of the devices are to different. The ROMs was exclusive made for the different devices.

Anyway it would make more sense to keep all new ROM announces in the Sticky.
About 2.17, the only one I am aware is the Asia WWE. I dumped it and its the same EXT packages and the same SYS, OEM and ROM. Only wince.nls, chinese keyboard and chinese fonts are added.
