I build a (nearly) classic clean ROM and an Office Mobile 2007 edition! Hope you like it!

First of all, this kitchen comes originally from jerpelea and I've only translated it into german and the stuff needed for cooking!
At first, you need NET Framework 2.0 installed on your PC, in Vista it's included by default! You also need the VS2008 redistributable, which can be found on MS homepage!
A completely tutorial for using this kitchen with pictures will be postet at PPCFreaks.de later!

It's ready for sharing now and I'm working on 20755 SYS but this needs some more time! I had the flu the last two days!

No data connection after flashing
Hi!
I flashed a T-Mobile MDA Touch plus with your Clean Black v2.0b yesterday. Everything seems to work exept the Data Connection, i can´t get internet access. I know from my diamond, that i get a automatted setup from t-mobile with all the connection setting. This isn´t comming on that nike. I found on the t-mobile homepage, that i can get an SMS with internet setting, this isn´t working too. i get an SMS with a code and with a hint, that a second sms will come with the settings, but this sms isn´t coming.
Do you have a hint for me how to get a data connection again?

I haven't included the Network Wizard/Setup in that ROM because this ROM is called "Clean"!
(Ignore WkTask for that reason )
You can add these settings manually in the connections tab in the device settings (Start - Einstellungen - Verbindungen - Verbindungen)!
I think the reason that you can't receive the second message from T-Mobile with the correct settings for your device is that WAP Push maybe isn't activated by default! Search through XDA Dev#s to find that reg key to enable it, if it isn't enabled!

If you are in Europe, the HTC Network Wizard should take care of that automatically. If not, you may need to visit your network provider's homepage for the details. For Internet, you need APN, Username and Password. The settings for MMS can be found in Messaging -> MMS -> Menü -> Extras -> Optionen -> MMS -> Server.
I had luck to grab a sinlock-free ameo!
Just putted TomTom 6030 on the ameo - GPS is also working without problems!

this software always was included in Windows Mobile till version 5!

HTC WM6 German ROM: Can it drain my BT Headset???
Hi,
a few days ago I installed the HTC WM6 German ROM on my T-Mob Ameo.
I'm very happy with this ROM because it's fast and stable and all my needed programs are running.
But after the WM6 installation my BT headset (Plantronics Discovery 655) has only 3-4 hours standby time (without any phonecall and it is fully charged).
Is it possible that the WM6 bluetooth stack drains my BT headset???

The first "sticky" thread in thes forum has the Black Touch ROM which is the only cooked ROM for the Athena. I'm not sure if it is available in German but it's a great ROM.

It's perfectly possible (I've made one for my own without almost any of the HTC pre-installed softwares, but it's a french ROM...)
Maybe you should have a look on ROM cooking : use a ROM Kitchen like the Niki Kitchen or the Kaiser Kitchen (works perfectly for the Dual) : using CABs and OEMs you'll be able to delete the useless files, clean the registry, and then have a ROM that perfectly suit you
ROM cooking is not really difficult, and you'll find anything you need here

No ... its a Branded O2 Rom!! You need the RUU Niki HTC DE ... but it have HTC Home, HtC Album, Audio Manager included. Delete is easy ...

When you upgrade to 3.5 you will have the ability to downgrade back to 1.2.
For NOW its a one way ticket. But comnex have made a downgrader and will release it in near feature.
You should know, that 3.5 is more stablish and faster. With this ROM you will get a fast device with all featues of WM6 and the speed of SLP3.5.

3.x SPL Hasn't anything to deal with STABILITY and SPEED. Those are ROM characteristics (OS) !
3.x SPL is NEEDED ONLY to use FULL AP4.0 (there is a light version available) and AP5 beta, and it is STILL a one way only

This is a windows 6 rom - not 6.1. The base is the HTC-ROM German.

For me its more stablish then 1.2. Maybe its my fould, but for me it works better.
How I upgrade my X7500 SPL1.2 correctly without to brocken my X7500?
Is it nessesary, to make Hard USPL befor, or not?
And if is "Yes", with witch one?

This ROM is based on the SPL1.2 Rom. So you dont need to update to SPL3.5.
But when you want have SPL3.5 you need flash first:
AP4 WM6.1
and then
this German ROM for SPL3.5

I'm surprised to see mostly Blackstone packages in the OEM. Will definitely have to cook a few and see.
Given that you have used the Blackstone packages instead of Jade in most of the packages, any advantages over the Jade packages?
The remaining few Jade packages could not be replaced, I presume.

this is why, the blackstone has newer german roms then jade.so i hav took the packages from blackstone. the jade packages, i had to youse for 96dpi packages.

the niki has problem with the blackstone wvga
so this is the best mix for a german rom.

To get the HTC-Album playing videos, you need to add this package into the kitchen.
This is the full screen player of jerpelea's kitchen.
After that you can cook your german rom with a working HTC-Album.

thanks mate, there are some things in programs and settings folders i could not fine german words for!, could you suggest! and list them together, IE WWE = GER Also did I spell things right??

A translated rom has All the *.mui files renamed to 0409 and many other things in the regestry are 0409=WWE "A sort of patch"
A ported rom has all the *.mui files with there proper name ie, german is 0407
and all the regestry enrties are 0407 just like a MS shipped rom would Be,
also extra german software you install will be suported better

hope it's all good now the folders are also called the same in the MS Emulator so i think thats right? the storage card may be changed but to what?

Thanks guys I will Change them in a couple of days just gona give you some time to check over this build to see if theres anything else that needs tweeking
Then I'll post the Multi language kitchen WWE & GER
I used the emulator as a referance and in that it's "My Documents" "Documents and Settings" in all languages So more crap from "MS" theres not storage card in emulator,
P.S. I dont speak or read german, But I do know ROM structure

Hi mate
can you give me a link to that ROM please and was it 6.1? i'd like to check the regestry/xip I'v checked 4 other ger rom's and all have Documents and Settings etc,
I can change the folders, But Documents and Settings is genarated by the OS, I can change it in XIP easy
WM5 AKU_3.3 t-mobile ger ship rom, also has Documents and Settings etc.
Changing this could limit software installation's to german only

I have finnished the kitchen I think!! just tweeking a new theme I will upload a new rom tomoro There will be some eng progs but I can't find ger versions

A new green theme and full german rom now ready for testing this new rom is as german as i can get it If you know of any programs that are german please send a link and I will add them to the Kitchen before uploading
One info to the thing with the My documents and so on and why they aren't German:
I was wondering why some names in German ROMs stay English. So I asked somebody from T-Mobile my grandfather knows very well. He showed me a Charmer. The ROM on it was version 1.0 and everything was German. Including Program files, My Documents and so on. And then he flashed a aku 3 ROM to the phone. Everything was still German. Then he flashed a English aku 3 and back to the German again. Then some folders were English. They don't know why but they know the problem exists. And they can't fix it.
I write that here to tell you that there may is no fix. But maybe you'll find one.

The folders can be renamed in the boot.rgu that's easy. BUT if you do so then only 100% german software will run on your device
people that build software test it with emulator and that has the english named folders, So there software would look for "say my documents" not the german name.
So i'm gona leave it like emulator then people can use all software's
I think the multi lang kitchen is finnished now it's about 98% german just some extras like net config and ietools that there's no german versions of
