Will there be a ROM update from HTC? - Touch Pro, Fuze ROM Development

Now that the TP has been out for a while, and we are all aware of the bugs, does anyone know if HTC will relelase a new ROM version for genuine HTC customers with stock ROM's?

Keep dreaming...
Cheers.

OK, so what would everyone recommend as a good ROM developed by members of XDA?
And what benefits are there over the stock ROM?

There will be one (always is) but who knows when (in other words don't hold your breath)

[Q] Best MIUI-Rom for HTC EVO 3D GSM?

Hey,
wich rom is the best one for the HTC EVO 3D GSM or can I install a CDMA/Sprint-Version? It have to ran stable and smooth. Can anyone help me? A Tutorial how to install it may not be bad, but I can search it by myself.
Is there already a stable Jellybean ROM?
Thanks
Sorry for my Bad English, but I'm from Germany
All I'm going to say is, if you flash a CDMA ROM and you have a gsm phone, well . You will have a expensive paper weight?????

If you would've done some research, you knew that there is only one (discontinued) MIUI rom for GSM on XDA, which is Cero's rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1906298
The original MIUI rom is housed on the MIUI website, which is over here:
http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/3-1-11.19266/ (direct dl. link: http://files.miuiandroid.com/3.1.11/miuiandroid_shooteru_ics-3.1.11.zip)
There are some older MIUI roms, like these:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679727
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369526
Also, please don't ask for 'the best one', because that is completely based on your own experience.
Do you want working BlueTooth, 3D, Camera in common, camcorder, etc.
Some roms are really small and don't offer all the extras, while other roms are loaded with extras. It's completely up to you.
Oh, there was one other working MIUI rom, but that was lens_flare's (kanged?) rom. He was banned because it was a second account of an already banned user, which was banned for violating the rules.

Hey guys, I assume that now that this device is out, we should be able to get a great aosp build going on our phones since they are so much alike, what do you think?

I'm sure having an official (and very similar) AOSP branch to work off of will help the developers.
CM 10.1 is pretty solid but I hope this will help weed out the rest of the bugs.

[Q] ROM Recommendations?

I just flashed uXYLON for my Evo and I'm dreading it. I'm downloading a cm 10.1 rom currently, but was curious as to what anyone would recommend? I'm using Root Box on my AT&T GS3 and was wondering if there was anything similar to that for the evo.

Sorry mate, we do not allow "best rom" threads. It is all based on ones opinion. You are doing what every other user has done, try different roms until you find the one you like.

[Q] Is There a Stock Android/Non-Sense ROM for the HTC Droid DNA?

I am looking for a stock Android/Non-Sense ROM for my HTC DNA. I've looked high and low throughout this forum and even on Google, but everything keeps pointing me to threads about the DNA's stock ROM and not stock Android.
Either I'm not reading anything right or I have missed something. I would be very greatly if someone can link me to such a ROM or explain to me why there isn't one.
No, there's is not a stock, vanilla Android rom for the DNA. Checkout out CyanogenMod, it's about as close as you'll get

Well thanks again. I guess I'll have to settle for CyanogenMod. Not that I don't like it, I'd just prefer stock Android.
Hopefully later down the road someone will do one.

[Q] Can you install One X Roms on One X Plus

I've come back to HTC from Samsung GS3 which I had a lot of experience rooting/ flashing roms.
I have the One X Plus now. My question is can international One X roms be installed on the international One X Plus?
I won't assume/guess anything until I'm 100% sure so would appreciate any help with anyone with rooting/flashing knowledge of these phones.
Also, where is the best online resource for list of custom roms with user comments?
Many thanks

Thanks - I spoke to HTC about this and they advised that One X roms could be flashed on One X Plus - Goes to show that there is much more knowledge on here than within HTC.
That makes no sence as a lot of people flashing one x ROMs on to the one x + brick there phone or they don't work
Anyway if you do have luck flashing one x ROMs let us know

Hi,
I am new to this HTC world and even you can say, new to Android world. I purchased HTC One X+ in india recently (so I believe it is an unlocked version, not like AT&T, verizon etc). Yesterday I got an update to Android version 4.2.2, which I did. But now want to move back to 4.1.
Please bare with me and help me out to downgrade the same. Please be simple in using terms, as I am very less experienced in using Android (hardly couple of months).
plz plz plz.....
Thanks in Advance !

Erm, I know you are new and all, but you just
1) Restored a 5 month old thread.
2)Went offtopic to the original thread topic
3) Did not use search
Please read through this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2470721 since this topic has already been talked about quite a few times.
