is there anyway to unbrick a G4 wizard?
There are many ways.
But please tell us more about symptoms ?

What is on screen ?
i was just asking just incase i brick my phone.
when it is 'bricked', there is no way. It is like, when a person is 'dead' there is no way of reviving him/her. 'Bricked' is a terminal word, it may goes deeper as the gurus here find deeper ways to revive a unit.

If you read the sticky thread at top of this forum, you will see how to remove the bootloader from a ROM before you load it.
This means that if a upload goes wrong and you can't get it load normally (eg it might LOOK "bricked"), you can always initialise the loader, an bring it back to life again! (eg it wasn't "bricked" after all.).
"Bricked" literally means = turned into a brick = useful only as a paperweight!
I guess some cases that look like they are "bricked", are actually just a case of needing greater skill to bring alive again.
If you are careful to follow ALL the instructions in that thread, then you should be OK, as there should always be a way to bring it back to life from any "brick-esque" situations.
Is that what "resurrection" means.....

My Wizard is really DEAD now due to the my to power off during Rom upgrading. I did tried hard-reset but it's always display the bootloader screen without 3-color stripper, so it can't connect to ActiveSync.
Please help with your knowledge...

Find out how to enter to Wizard boot mode (Tri-color bootloader screen)
1.Turn your device off
2.Hold the Camera button in and push the power button for 2 seconds
...you should get the 3 color bar screen
3.Plug your usb cable in to the phone
Hope I can revive my device...

This looks good to me.
BTW It seems like you can access the bootloader by different key combination + reset, if we except the CommManager + Voice Record + Reset combination wich is intended to make a full format of the user area.
So I'm used to make a Mail + Photo + Reset combination (keep Mail + Photo pushed until magic screen appears).
Once you're in bootloader mode (Rainbow screen), Activesync won't launch synchronisation as the device is no longer identified as a Pocket PC, better ready to be loaded with a new OS.
Oh one thing. If you're stucked somewhere in the boot process and want to revert to a stable version, make sure you use an official release.
It would be nonsense to try to revive a bad upgrade with another one...
Any one help me my htc p3400i is not booting...only green and red key used to blink for a while and also when i am pressing the camera button then also the phone is not coming in tri color. Earlier it was coming but now its not coming only the keys used to blink,,so what to do now???

Pawan, dear, you got your phone working again or not?
Press camera power and soft reset will bring your phone to tri color screen. If your phone is back on its feet, please inform.

I was trying to flash my rom. which i did successfully on the first time. second time tried to flash with some file names htc-Asia something, it installed but ended up bricking my phone.

Seems that you have flashed a wrong rom.Now you should go for J-TAG restore.
Can you tell me the procedure for the same. i rem readin that i will have to solder some stuff.. please guide through..

Just use a valid ROM according to your handset.There are two versions of every ROM you'll find here(Old Gene and New GENE).Just select them carefully
gene is dead
one day i woke up to find my gene not getting switched on.
i had used it the night before and then put it for charging..
now only red light blinks in the led when i try to charge it nothing else.
i got the battery charged from outside but that also didnt work..

This is actively being discussed in the Neutrino thread. Try reading up on the current release (the "Search" feature does work) before starting new threads.

I check all threads and nothing works! If I select anything like recovery, fastboot, rsd the screen dims and goes blank and becomes unresponsive, so stuck in this bootloop and now batttery is dead and does not charge.
I an willing to donate for any 1 on 1 help as this seems to be over my head.

I have put my atrix in a bootloop with the latest update of Neutrino ROM V2.5p2. I am kinda still a newbie. I have read and read with no clear solution that I can comprehend. This situation is over my head. I read allot of posts and wanted to ask u or anybogy could point me to the right person to help. I am looking at shipping my phone to someone who can get me out of this bootloop. THis is the only way I think to get my atrix back. Tried a few local repair shops in the Orlando area where I live and the are clueless! I know this might sound odd but trust top guys on here and I am at my wits end. What I can do in return is send a paypal payment or anything u would want for this. Please take this in consideration or point me to someone who could. Thank you for your time!

This is what I have done till this point,
As I said I am kindda newbie who bit of more then I could chew!
First off after continuous boot loop at moto screen. I hold vol down and android recovery says starting the goes blank and unresponsive. next fastboot says battery to low to flash as battery not charging in this mode and that's a whole different problem now! Lastly I hit vol up to rsd mode and also says battery to low to flash.
I would like to send my phone to you or a senior member as I fell they can be trusted with my atrix. any recovery at this time would be fine, stock or new rom. Willing to pay shipping and time for there service. Please help

I would like to solicit your help regarding a quite strange problem with my phone.
As indicated in the title, It is a Samsung GT-S5839I.
In order to create coherent whole i will sum this up with questions and answer.
What is it that, for me, is very likely to be the origin of the problem ?
I think i can say that the origin of the problem might be caused by an installation of a wrong ROM.
In other words, immediately after the installation of this one, the problem appeared.
What happens when i turn on the phone?
If i try to turn it on normally using the power button ; the phone turns on correctly but the screen turns out to be black and backlighted.
I mean by this that i can't see anything, the buttons are enlightened, there is light on the screen (maybe caused by the backlighting), but there is no way to know what is going on.
The only clue i have is the noise that the animation done at boot up.
When the phone ends his booting task, it is likely that it reached the unlocking screen.
If i try to turn it on normally using the volume up, down and the power button ; It happens the exact same thing that when i try to turn it on normally.
If i try to turn it on using the volume up, down, home and the power one ; It happens the exact same thing that when i try to turn it on normally.
In other words, the recovery mode doesn't work.
What can i do ?
I can access to the files on my SD CARD using the Samsung Kies 2.6 software.
I can access to the unlocking screen without visual returns.
What i can't do ?
Use the phone's touch keys .
Access to the ADB module.
Access to the download mode.
Access to the recovery mode

@chikamtsu, You do officially hard bricked your device ( both modes are not accessible ) .
There is so little remained to do mate, you can get a little device called "USB jig" as a last resort to force your phone into Download mode ( may or may not work,even if i provide instructions). As for your LCD blackness/dimness it goes, your symptoms might be caused by water/dust/corrosion damages more likely rather than flashing a wrong firmware ! in s5830i which is very similar to your device, replacing IC light u 503 part will solve problems in most cases ( I am not so sure of IC part of your device). Be cautioned though disassembling your device is not for fainthearted, you need expertise to open such a delicate case; hence I can't ask for critical information such as measuring voltage IC . One more thing mate, for the future record could you kindly provide a link to firmware you did flash from sammobile.com database preferably. Your original CSC/MODEM/PDA , Android version/ Kernel is also needed .

Well if you can tell me that which rom you had flashed because some roms for Galaxe Ace after flashing need to press the Home button to avoid blacksceen.
Well your possibilities are to give your phone a usb jugg service/Heimdall and after that take it to download mode and flash back using odin.
When I try to turn on my it show some stripes, I've tried to flash stock rom through ODIN , but it's stuck at SetupConnection, I've tried to flash PIT, but it says "No PIT partition" When i connect him, It shows in ODIN but when i recconect him it isn't showing up anymore, i have to restart it to download mode again and then it shows up, I can't get into recovery it shows the last screen(only image, not working), and when i try again, it shows the last screen again with some dots or stripes.

Well,for it not wanting to flash in Odin is the cause of SDS(Sudden Death Syndrome) but I don't know why you have stripes and dots on your screen.
Basically,your phone is hard-bricked and there is no way to fix it.

Graphical errors are usually caused by faulty hardware.
