Turning off the Task bar? - Touch Pro CDMA

hey whats up everyone.
Does anyone know how to turn off the task bar? When you click on the battery or new message Icon or Signal Strength it brings you to another page and then you choose which Icon you want I.E. message/Battery level/Comm manager). I turned it off on my Diamond but I cant remember how I did it and would really like to on my Pro. Its really annoying.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Here
Settings>System>Task Manager>Button
Then uncheck both entries.

Whoops
Misread what you were asking.
Go to
Settings>System>TouchFLO Then uncheck the bottom checkmark.

Hold down on the vibration. It'll ask what you want to do.
Thank you Biz. The only option it is giving me is Rename.
I hope this isn't one of those kinks that I have to factory reset

Glad you got it. Glad you posted that as I didn't know you could set a vibration pattern for contacts.
Thanks.

What's this?

I got my first Android phone on a Friday. Having a blast with it. But, I've been trying to find out what this is. Can't figure it out. Tried searching for it but can't find it.
It showed up on Saturday and never goes away.

I was thinking Settings too. But why is the icon on the left side, all the time. And how do I remove it?
any chance its a blue half circle? if so its the multiwondow app selector, just hold the back button to make it go away

I've personally never seen it. I also don't have Facebook installed. I would do the suggestion above, or try touching it and see what happens. You may just need to confirm something.
It doesn't go away even after pressing clear notification. I've tried pressing it. Nothing.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Thanks! I figured it was something simple like that. This category could use a pinned "Stupid Questions" thread similar to the one in the Galaxy S4 forum.

This should be possible with system ui tuner, you don't need root to do it
Can someone actually reply to this thread with a set of steps? I am getting pretty frustrated by that icon... and it seems like Samsung attempts the VPN connection even though I disabled it and interferes with AdGuard's VPN or other VPNs.
So. Beside the fact that it is bulls**t, it still tries to do some magic.

I got irritated as well with this. I went into settings>apps>SecureWifi, scrolled down to the notifications options, and selected muted/hidden on lockscreen.
I haven't seen that damn icon since.

I have the same settings. But that hides it from the lockscreen only. The icon and notification is still in the notification bar and list when the phone is unlocked.
