With this ROM bateri drops fast, for a day
Miss Manila interface,in terms of screen design, but have to forget, as this rom is so fast and stable.
The default is "BEAM ON" so when I untick beam, battery last long as well .
But one suggestion , I want to get the weather board function, I will find software instead.

T2M has always been a good cook in atom life
FYI, o2 connect has been down due to the seeO2 site has been taken down to due to MWG take over
this rom is mainly LIGHT version so that soem light version seeker will get this rom
is u want FULLY LOADED rom

Audio Manager is missing?
Installed this nice one ROM. No bugs on my O2 Atom Life. But I could not find AudioManager in the programs. In fact I did not also seen AudioManager in list of included programs. Should we have to install it seperately?
Rest is all fine. ROM is very light weight and fast. Device is running like my latest desktop pc now.
Using this with SPB Mobile Shell 2 and Burts iContact. Superb combination for me. Thanks for such a nice ROM.
PS: I am indiacam, not indianram, who is not satisfied with this rom. lolz

Have problems with bluetooth.. once i paired with more than 2 devices the display list goes blank.. even the "Add device" is gone...
but this is a really good rom... has a lot of memory to work with.. gona try the Manila version... hope it doesn't have this bug...

What are those big fonts stand for?
Please appreciate the efforts from the author, ever since Medkid stop cooking new ROM for us, it's very hard to see people paying so much in contributing the new ROM.
If you know to make a new ROM please do so, else please stop from doing such a spam mail in the forum.
You can choose not do downlown and use the new ROM, you have the right to do so but please don't give us such an unwanted/unfriendy attitude.
The 'Data Connection' under the Connection Manager tab is disabled (cannot be turned on or off) on this ROM or is it me? I can connect via wireless but not GPRS. No other flaws found.

Instruction: Copy AL1.dio to your storage card (smaller than 2 GB, you should format it first (FAT 16)) -> put it into your device then put your device into bootloader mode (Record + reset), wait until it reaches 100% it will hard reset your device => voila, your device is ready for the magic.
After flashing finished,First you should choose to enable FtouchFlo:
Start menu\ Program\ Tools \ FtouchFlo settings, choose tab "general", check the box "enable FtouchFlo" then "Done".
Now your Atom Life is ready ( but when FtouchFlo is running you can not Align screen, this is not a bug)
Now ->Slide your finger:
- left -> right to call the Launcher of Wktask
- right-> left to open Total Commander
- up->down to minimize running programs
- down-> up to call task manager 2.9
That's it. But you can change these behaviors by using "FtouchFlo settings"

Using 512mb and 1gb card dont work for me. Not able to flash. But surprisingly, I use 2gb card (fat 32) and it work. Just so that ppl know and to share my experience.

I can't find Saman's SMS Delivery Report configuration. Is it included? By the way, I was using this app before using your rom and it has problem where the timestamp for the SMS which is modified is broken. Because of this, any SMS which has been modified to include the contact's name always appear at the top of the list.
I haven't fully tried out this rom yet, so anyone can confirm this?

yes, it's included, but I don't want to place its shortcut to Tools so you can look for it in windows : SMSDRFix.exe. Carefully look at Settings\sounds\notifications, you will see "Messaging: SMS Delivery receipt"
If you can't use the exe to change what it shows, modify these registry value:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Saman\SMSDRFix]

Strange thing happen. Whenever my O2 connect to activesync to pc, the camera light will turn on (dim light) and will flicker. when I disconnect, it will turn off. Any help? And how to turn off the bootup sound (music) ? Thanks

I just turned off the bootup sound by deleting the Audiaboot 0.1.lnk in /windows/startup.

Thanks. I do a bit of exploring and found Startup.mp3 in device. Its the bootup sound file. Reduce the volume to 25% (edit in audio editor). I like the sound but its loud when bootup. Now its just right.

Well..... tested.... Diamond's 3D? Sorry...... not this one.
-more crispy on phone dialpad and Calc skin,
-phone response fast,
-file transfer rate (device to SD and Vice-Versa) is good,
a bit slower than Korand 3.1,
A bit disappointed with the overall performance ( I found no problem on power and music issues though ).........
- without Asian region, can't match the currency and the year-date format I want....
- later build (20226) but not equal to faster speed.... ( a bit lag somehow.....),
- even recook again be me for Chinese support.....
- flash back to my Asian regional edition now (19214.......)
tested with Throttle launch 0.92, ( Diamond look and similar apps), it does needs to be tune a bit to fit our prophet, still a bit laggy.....
( if somehow we can configured to disable the fading effect will be very nice though~~~ )

What that means?, I've never before have this kind of message trying to upgrade the prophet
I think if it's possible to use the nk.nbf file with the update utility of other rom

lazy_tool works as well as I thought, thx for help!!

Looks like pretty much the same issue I had with the previous release by T2M (ATOM LIFE - PDAVIET ROM WM6.1 Manilla 2D (Core 20755) by TranMinhMan). I described it here.
However, flashing to this ROM got it (almost) fixed. I mean, it did start up active sync some two or three times, but at least it isn't killing RAM every five minutes or so. (It has already almost 11 hours uptime with more than 19 MB of free RAM for the last 7 or 8 hours.) Maybe you could try reflashing your device...?

Did you try what I suggested, i. e. reflashing the ROM one more time?

From my experience, this one is the most stable I ever had on my Atom Life. Much less memory leaking, better wifi support (after more than 24 hours of being connected to my home wifi it still could get some data through -- with every other ROM I tried, after like half an hour it couldn't connect anywhere even though the device reported the connection on), the battery life isn't bad as well...
If you don't want TouchFLO, maybe you could try the Light version of this ROM...? (-;

If you looked a bit higher on this page, you would see my post already answering your question about youtube. And as for Opera, which version do you mean? I'm using Opera Mini 4.1 without any problem. Opera Mobile 9.5 beta is nice, but it eats too much RAM so it kills every other app at Opera startup, including TouchFLO. That's why I really would not recommend it on a device with less than 128 MB RAM. But yes, it can run, if that's the only thing that interests you...

It doesn't leak RAM as much as 20755 does.
Yeah, this one seems to be better in the memory department. The previous one was getting a bit annoying because TouchFlo kept exiting because of the lack of memory. But I can't seem to get the analogue clock to work on the home screen. Still, this one looks even better than the previous one. I have the same YouTube problems as others have mentioned. Another thing: Is it possible to get more than one appointment to show on the home screen? I usually have 2-4 appointment every day, and I would like to have an overview of them there. Thanks again for your great work, man!

1. You copy "Cabs" folder and SDConfig.txt to Storage Card first.
2. If you flashed the ROM already, you can backup everything you want and then perform a hard reset.
or If you don't flash the rom yet, please do it after performing step 1.

I tried it. it doesn't work. I wish it would, because this rom (and a few others before this one) is so cool and has so many functionalities but I use this feature a lot to listen to podcast. I had pointed this bug out before but it was never fixed. I'm kind of surprised that seem like not that many people listen to their podcast/music this way, maybe most people just use their headset?
if this could be fixed, it would be wonderful.

Yep, I experienced same thing. I was excited until I realised the Micro SDHC disappeared. Another problem i'm having with these new ROMs with Manila (although I think it has nothing to do with Manila/TouchFLO) is that I often need to poke the hole a few times or even remove the battery to get the Atom restart. Does this happen to everyone or is it just me?

Hi Sonblack (or anyone who knows), can you tell me what app do you use to get the battery indicator (i.e. the percentage inside the battery icon) near the clock? I'm not using the ROM but I want to have that.

I didnt have to restart with this ROM, it is working very fast, the only serious problem for Me is SHDC, even A2DP is not a big problem, but I have tried many patches regarding SDHC and didnt worked, as NCP says it was in the first post already specified but we Always like to try a possible solution... specialy when the ROM looks and works so nice, congratulations NCP and kumkum

Sorry I may not be clear. I already tried this ROM that's how I see and like the battery indicator. But because there's no SDHC support of this ROM I have to revert back to another ROM, then I miss the indicator and I want to have it. So I wonder how can I get it without using this ROM? Thanks.
