Mistakenly Deleted sprint tf3d music player need help!!! - Touch Pro CDMA

What a dumb ass I am. I deleted two folders out of my sprint tp music folder. I beleive they contained the music player for the tf3d interface. Can anybody help me fix this. I don't even know what the folders were named or what files they contained. Even is some one could upload the folders and files, I could put them back. Helpppp.
The music player functions are no longer available when I go to the sprint music tap/icon.

Hard reset. Easiest/safest way.

Sprint Touch Pro Music app problems

I have a TP with the original ROM, and about 1.2 GB of music on an 8GB microSD. The music plays fine in Windows Media Player (just in case anyone was going to suggest that the card was the problem, and I installed the SD cab to speed up the card). When I try and play music in the Sprint Music tab, sometimes it won't play, and other times it will play the first 5-10 seconds of the song and then just stop.
I actually prefer the Sprint Music player over WM Player, I find it a cleaner application, and if anyone knows how I can solve this problem, I would appreciate it.
I know there are people out there that have 16GB cards filled with music, and they don't have this problem, so what's going on with my TP? I also can't find any answers in any other post here, or in a Google search.
Thanks in advance.
Have you thought about using Slide to Play? http://s2u2.ac-s2.com/
So here's the fix for the HTC Music player problem. First off Have you tried to add Album art to your MP3's? Personally I used Media monkey and added album art to all my mp3 files. This totally screwed up the HTC music player. After removing the album art from these files I was able to get the music player working again.
Second, there seems to be an issue for me with how the Folder is labeled in the storage card. If you call it "media" Sprint player see's the files but WMP does not. If you call it "Music" WMP sees the files but Sprint player does not.
Not sure whats the problem but it seems you have to choose which player to use.
So make sure the files are plain MP3 files in a folder named "Media" in order for your sprint player to work. If you want album art check out the Music folder in your Device and replicate the file format (FolderMP3name with MP3 file and "Folder" with containing album art. Oddly enough I think this is how the WMP tags MP3 files.
Or I'm an idiot and don't know what i'm doin

mp3 problem...

Hi folks,
My Hero runs on 2.1.
I've recently moved some music onto my phone but no matter what I do, the mp3s are not detected by either the stock mp3 player or MixZing player. When I access the actual mp3 files through Linda file manager and open them using MixZing, they play, but I get an error about tags missing.
After seeing this error, I've downloaded a couple of different tag editors and made sure every single field (i.e. genre, artist, etc.) was filled out properly. Still, the problem remains: no mp3 player on the Hero detects these mp3 files.
Anyone run into this problem before and know the fix?
Thanks!
Problem solved. The way windows media player synced the files was not good. I replaced them manually in a different folder and, presto.
Mods, you can close or delete this.

[Q] Windows Media Player wont update

Hello Everyone
I have been having this problem for some time and T-Mobile can't assist me so i decided to come here for a try.
I have about 2000 songs on my 16gig card most are of mp3 format. Well i have noticed that when i update the library it doesn't full do so. It goes through and finds the files and then is goes to add the files and then after adding some the player just closes. And when i open it back up i notice that there are A LOT of files that were not added to the player but can easily be played when accessed them via File Explorer.
*I also tried updating the library about 4x to see if the added files were missed some how with no luck.
Its frustrating b/c i prefer to use WMP over the HTC player.
Does anyone have a clue why this happens?
anyone...?
how did you transfer the files to your card?
ive read that syncing through media player on your pc can cause problems and that its better to just drag n drop the media to your sd card...
i did indeed sync through wmp so i could easily get the artist>album>layout. so would it help if i copied the folders back to my pc and then dragged them back to the memory card?
I can't guarantee that it will solve your problem but it might be worth a try....
just out of interest, does the htc sense player find all the files ok?
i just checked and nope that player .seems to be missing more songs than wmp
hmmm typical sense I suppose.......
I would try the drag n drop or maybe even test with another player like nitrogen or something.......
after that Im out of ideas..... sorry
Drag and drop/copy and paste is you best option, delete all the music from your sd card first - it worked for my uk HD2
ok i will try now and update to let you guys know if it worked
OK so i deleted the files and reinstalloed them and unfortunately it didnt work
I even checked by using the HTC player and noticed that player misses songs also. And not all of the same songs.

SamSung Galaxy Player 4.2 playlist - observations and question

On my SGP 4.2 I noticed that both the stock Samsung music player and Poweramp seem to "eat" m3u playlist.
This is what has been happening. I would put together a playlist (m3u) file then put that file into a folder called playlist at the root of the ext.SD and as soon as I disconnect from the PC and launch either players the playlist (the physical m3u file) will disappear.
In the case of the SamSung player the playlist will show up under playlist even though the m3u file is no longer there. In the case of Poweramp the playlist will show up briefly and then it playlist will show that it is empty and vanish alltogether.
The work-around I found was to use pls files instead of m3u files and the stock Samsung music player sees and works with the pls file without making it vanish. I stopped using Poweramp due to other bugs so I have no idea if Poweramp behaves the same way around pls files.
Question: does anyone one know where and how the stock Samsung music player store it's playlist (one that was created within the program) ?
Knowing that will give me more options when manipulating playlists.
Thanks!

General music management and sync question.

I know I sound crazy but I am starting to miss Itunes. I had my MP3 folder with a batch of copied stuff from my main archive. It was organized for Windows. Most of the time Itunes was easy to use in that I droped the folder into it and made it my default folder so I could delete stuff from the MP3 folder via itunes it processed it and bam working very few issues. I never got duplicate playlist had some improperly removed mp3 files which stuck in itunes.
Right now I am having so many issues updating my mp3's and playlists and with duplicate playlists, empty playlists its driving me nuts. How do you manage and sync songs for android without a ton of issues? I was jsut copying the folder over but the dump way android handles files I can not use my windows sync programs. I got tired of it screwing things up so I tried winamp and it just had to sort everything in a horrible incoherent manner(album/artist folders ,ect) and that did not fix any of my issues. Out of the few players I like I like Shuffle and Rocket player but as far as I understand it they don't control anything they just play. Right now I have 50GB of mp3's on my micro sd card and its reporting 80k music files.... its nonsense....
I am just so lost.
