Any body order from PDAPlaza.ca in Motreal Canada? - Touch HD Accessories

Just wondering how they are to deal with and if your HD has had the paint chipping problem.

Carbon Fibre predicament

Evening fellow forum mates, I just bought this transformer, and with it I bought the skinomi screen protector. I didn't realize the carbon fibre techskin was bundled with a screen protector, and I already have this screen protector but really want the separate TechSkin, but I can't find it sold alone. Does anyone have any info on where to find the TechSkin or an equivalent by itself for >$15? If not, does anyone have an extra they'd be willing to sell me?

3M adhesive for screen replacement???

Is there some local place that I can buy the 3M adhesive to do a screen replacement? Or does anyone know if there is a suitable replacement for it? I know tons of places to get it online, but I already have the phone apart and can't really wait for snail mail. Thanks guys!
When you glue it back make sure you do a good job at it other wise the glass will creak and be raised up in spots.
I would recommend purchasing a full front assembly. (Housing, LCD, and digitizer) you can get it for around $100.00 on eBay.
It's definitely more expensive than just a digitizer but it's super easy to install. You don't wanna mess up your LCD, and it will leave you with a demo front assembly to try to replace just the digitizer on in case you need it in the future.

I had the same question. What did you end up using? I was looking at some 3M sticky tape that I found at the local auto parts store.

Looks cool!! I may have to buy one of these!
Question for all you armor folks out there....how do most cases where the phone "snaps" into place work when using a full body shield like these? Does it stay on the phone well? Does it fit the case after you install it...or using a case that the phone snaps in destroy the armor?
TIA
I go with these or nothing...cases get stuff inbetween that end up scratching your junk anyways plus they bulk it up a bit
Plus a good case will be snug enough that it most likely wouldn't like the couple mils added by the skins

FYI - I've had experience with both white (EVO 4G, iPad 2) and black (Infuse, Iconia A100) CF vinyl wraps on my devices. The texture on the white makes it really hard to keep clean. Also, I'm assuming you're putting this on a white note in which case the dirt trapped on the edges of the wrap will show quickly. I briefly thought about a white wrap for my note...but I'm leaning more towards a thin case instead.
YMMV, just my .02.
Good point, it's on it's way might just have to get a clear one, or the red one is 40% off, damn they should hook a brotha up for plugin their stuff lol

The case probably wouldn't fit as well. also, i wouldn't use the side protection if your using a case, only the back. the sides come off very easily.
I can't seem to order. I'm in the cart and hit checkout, and the darn cart acts like I hit refresh and just redraws my cart.
Anyway, I found a 10% coupon code: guard
Update: I switched to Internet Explorer, and I was able to buy. I guess they don't like Google Chrome.
If you are a repeat customer you get 20% off your purchases. I just bought the full body kit along with the anti glare screen protector.
I put it on my AT&T Note today. (I got the black Carbon Fiber)
The battery cover was easy to put on, but the sides were a little tricky.
I had to cut the strip that goes along the side where the power button is. I just could not make it fit. Assuming I was doing it right, it would have covered part of the stylus hole, so I just snipped around that area, and it was fine. That was the only side that gave me any trouble.
Hi guy,
want to check with you,
have anyone tried the UltraTough Clear Skins Full Body for galaxy note? How was it?
Thinking of getting one, any discount coupon above 10% available for me to use?
Thanks
The case I just got yesterday, spigen spg ultra thin is very very thin. Coming from a speck is a HUGE difference. I only problem with these vinyl wraps is its hard to clean Although I might be actually checking that yoobao cases..

[Q] Phantomskinz - any issues with dock fitting? Also, Rubber feet on dock.

Hi,
I'm interested in buying a skin from Phantomskinz just because they offer the white colour skins, as well as trying to cover up some of the scratches on the backplate.
I realised that phantomskinz don't actually have cutouts for the docking area like skinomi's do. Has that been an issue to phantomskinz users?
Also, I'm located in Australia and I was just wondering if anyone has managed to find those rubber feet for the dock?
I lost one while overseas and it gets really annoying sometimes when I'm at lectures with those tables on angles - it just slides, and I will always have to put my hand on it to prevent it from falling.
Cheers
Also, are people experiencing any issues with Bodyguardz when docking?

I didn't end up buying from them. They did say they didn't make the cut outs for them. Some people on xda did comment about not being an issue and others say otherwise. I ended up purchasing a clear skin from bestskinsever and I'm going to put up with the scratches I have on my back plate. They do a very good deal and people are very happy with their quality.
Hope that helps

same here, two of mine have fallen off, one i lost, one i managed to glue back on. im think the best way to replace them is going to be cutting at a thin piece of rubber or some from a craft store maybe. did you manage to get your hands on some new feet at all?
The skinomi tech skin is great. I've been using it for a while now. The installation was easy and well explained in the paperwork. The only downside of this skin is that you need to use a hairdryer on the corners to get them to form to the contour correctly. I also peeled the thin edge guards off after about a week as they were annoying to the touch and caught on my sleeve every time I pulled it out or put it back. I also like the fit on the keyboard. Fit was perfect and yes there are cutouts for the feet.
And glue dots art he best thing to reattach the feet if one falls off. You can find them at wall mart or your local craft store.

DIY LCD replacement need advice

Hello, I’ve cracked my Screen on my Mate 20 pro, I’ve ordered my a replacement (not cheap) but can’t find the adhesive for the front LCD... I ordered the Rear glass adhesive... does anyone know if they are the same? Or would I be best just using B-7000 to glue the screen back?
Thanks pigbait
