Is there anyway to make this calendar functional? Everything looks great and is awesome, but I am just curious if the calendar is just supposed to look pretty and nothing else?
It'd be cool if you could look at a list of appointments or something. Especially if you could see tasks.
The thing is....I rearange my tabs. When i add the recent calls tab it switches my tabs back to default and then when i rearange the tabs back to how i want with the new recent calls tabs.....the recent calls tabs is gone. What do it do?

Read post 8. You have to avoid this cab. Or you have to edit the 269XXXX manila yourself

After update the rom, click Menu button in message tab cause error. The error could be fix by adding back the menu to 26948339_manila under "MessagesGizmoResponse.dialog".

haha, i don't have them on initially, it's on when for example PHM is on, or Active Sync is on, basically, anything that put a icon on tray will activate my tray, and my problem is i don't want that tray, and i remove it. I guess in your case you want to activate the tray, just simply put an icon there, for example activate tray icon for Pocket Infrormant, then your tray will appear.

I installed this twice and now I have multiple icons for it. How do I remove an icon or icons in this case,from the programs folder? Somehow I also have multiple GPS Now and camera icons too.

there are several programs that scans for double links or icons but they are not free you can remove the double icons yourself it is easy to do:
1. open Filesexplorer
2. Map to Windows\Startmenu\programs
3. remove the mutiple icons from there

Yes, go into the registry and search for entries with the name "banner". Clear the graphic files under the banner entries and there ya go.

it is working on wqvga, confirmed. But a suggestion would be that it can load .lnk too, not just .exe because activesync for example needs to call /remote as an additional parameter to repllog.exe to start in window and not just as a process
EDIT: until then everybody who wants to use activesync in claunch just go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome\CLaunch\Page that activesync is supposed to be\ and edit ACTIONURL with this string ':MSSYNCAPP' with no quotes
EDIT2: bug report: it seems that it doesn't refresh icons after the first choice. For example i had resco explorer on page1 and activesync on page2 but i decided to switch places for them and now resco has activesync icon and activesync resco's. That wouldn't be weird if i didn't manually chose new icons for each page but they just stay the same. Only after i edited registry and on page1 as an icon put App2 and vice versa it switched them but that shouldn't be like that so I am searching for the problem a little further. If chris doesn't do it first, ofc

Nice app... This was the exact launcher I was looking for.
I have an elfin (qvga) with dsixda's latest 6.5 beta rom and so far its working perfectly (I only tried to add apps and assign icons to them)
the only thing I noticed so far is that if you install it in your storage card you are not able to add any apps to it later (you get an error msg with a countdown button, don't remember the msg now).

If you don't like your Quicklinks display names being truncated and looking like for example "Resco Regi.." and would prefer it look like "Reg Edit" then you can edit the display names here: HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila/Home/x then edit the DispName.
(x = the quicklink position)
*edit* never mind, read wrong. yeah you should be able to change that in CHTEditor. If it doesn't work, maybe export your settings for CHT & then reinstall it.
theres a setting for "quicklinks" and "freelinks".......

This is called CellBroadcast Receiver. no doubt everyone having a phone knows what it is... its real time update receiver from your network. and in a emergency situation its the most reliable and fasted method than regular SMS.
Everyone might not like this one. for some it will be useless. but for some it will be handy. all depend of the geographical location where you live and the network you use. so if it's useless to you then bye and have a nice day
ok for those who likes it this is for you . i have seen this in JB 4.2 Rom but never in 4.1 .
there are 3 options for you to have this app.
1. move app to system/app and use it - you will not get a menu but once u receives a notification then u can select the Settings options.
2. u can move app as well as Settings app . - you will have a menu in your settings under Wireless and Network
3. u can follow the tutorial in Post #2 and add it to your Settings menu. this way u can add it either on a main menu or in a sub menu

ok now recompile and move to system/app . no need to reboot as soon as u set correct permissions ( RW-R-R) settings will be displayed with the changes you have made
NOTE- above was based on my settings app where i prefer cellbroadcast menu in a main menu as shown in the pictures. if u like u can set the menu under some sub menu . eg- inside More in wireless and network menu.

thanks bro well in some network operators send alerts to mobile which is cell broadcast messages. for eg. warning messages/ news and weather alerts / location info etc. it really matters where you live and the network operator u use. as i know its very much in Use in United States. if u go through the 2nd picture u can see type of messages it receives. and Cell broadcast is real when it comes to SMS based alert system cos you maybe knowing in an emergency situation most networks SMS and voice get jammed.
but all depend of the network. in my country i get only location names as broadcast messages. meaning when i travel i receive name of the place by this app. LOL and 95 % it can be described as a useless feature but then again for some people its real value feature
give it a try and see what u get from ur phone operator
