anyway says

i'll wait a bit when some1 orders it, but looks good for this price and the package
P.S. - checked his feedback, has one neutral on "HTC Touch HD / T8282 USB Cradle With Battery Charger (#140283476575) US $15.00", french guy says "commande annulé par le vendeur, suite problème sur le produit" what translators means is "Order canceled by the seller, continued problem on the product". lets wait?

iGo iTip for Wizard

Does anyone know if there is a mini USB iTip that would work with the Wizard?
Is the mini USB connector pinout standard or specific to the Wizard?

I would try the one for the razr
I have a moto car chargers that is a mini usb so that should work.
I have the Cingular 8125 (wizard) and the igo razr tip does work with it ... as does the original razr charger and car charger.

Note that the iGo.com website suggests power tip A53 for Tmo MDA and Cingular 8125
For razr: power tip A32
Both look like mini-USB to me. Any real differences??
Radio Slack didn't have the recommended one, but did have the Razr one. Will that work for sure without brickifying my MDA?
I have an iGo unit and have used the A29 blackberry tip and the A32 RAZR tip. On the back of the tips at radioshack, you'll notice that the A29 is 5.0V at .6 Amps, and the A32 is 5.0 volts .9 Amps. I don't know what the A53 tip has becuse they don't carry it at the shack yet. I do know that both tips do charge my 8125 with no problems. The RAZR tip is faster, as it's higher current. One thing to keep in mind is that if you use the RAZR tip, you'll be able to use it to charge newer moto BT headsets as well without blowing them up.
My next trick is to get the motorola y-cable that breaks out the mini-usb to a mini-usb and the motorola sade so I can charge teh 8125 and an older HS820 at the same time.
Charger for Wizard
The TripleCharger can power the Wizard in conjunction with the X3 adapter. You can find it here:
http://www.electronicmetro.com/triplecharger-x3-for-audiovox-smt5600-cingular-212.html
The TripleCharger uses adapters to charge different devices, but it can charge in your home, your car, or in emergencies (with 2 9V batteries).
I bought the one that RS specs for the Audiovox SMT5600, works like a charm. HTC makes the 5600 for Audiovox, as far as a know.
HTC & Audiovox 5600
Yes, that's correct. HTC makes the Audiovox 5600, along with some carrier-branded smartphones/PDAs like the T-Mobile MDA/SDA, Cingular 2125 & 8125, Verizon's XV-6700 and Sprint's PPC-6700.
TripleCharger X3 Bundle for HTC smartphones in stock
We've gotten moderate site traffic in the past month from this site, so I thought I'd let everyone know the TripleCharger X3 Bundle for HTC smartphones is now in stock.
This charger can charge/power the HTC Faraday, Feeler, Hurricane, Magician, Prophet, Tornado, Typhoon, and Wizard, as well as their carrier-branded counterparts.

I had bad luck with the A29 tip. I used it once, and the battery completely discharged after about 5 minutes of charging with it (I couldn't charge with a USB cable, I had to find the original wall charger).
I don't know if this was related to the tip or some other problem, but there's no way I'm plugging my 8125 back into the A29 at this point.
Why get this little contraption when there's this on offer?

It uses any USB Charging cable so you can charge anything! Also can use normal power adapters with changeable tips. AND it has a 7200mah battery built in to charge on the go. Nice and not tooo pricey
cya
While that product has the cool feature of an internal battery, it requires far more "clutter" to charge the same amount of devices that the triplecharger can. It also costs more than twice what the triplecharger does, which is $30 US.
I just bought the A53 tip for my 8125. I belive the package said it was 5.2 Volts and 1.2 Amps

What is the max. output current can this gizmo supply? I emailed them more than 2 months ago with this same question and they never replied. :?
Clutter: extra cable required to charge ipod, different extra cable required to charge treo 650 + 700, 6V and 9V "booster" connectors required to increase voltage for various devices, such as cell phones (nokias), bluetooth headsets (jabra), and some other palm PDAs. The device itself is also bulky - its essentially a battery pack and not a "charger," and it can only be recharged via a USB cable.
The TripleCharger can plug into home AC outlets and your car's DC outlet, as well as charge your devices by converting the power from 2 9V batteries for emergency situations.
The device also does not have support for many new devices, including the Motorola PEBL/RAZR/SLVR phones, Motorola Q PDA, new nokia flip phones + the N series, and new verizon + t-mobile samsung phones - all of which the TripleCharger can charge... I consulted the "Compatibility Matrix" PDF file for this information which may not be currently updated, but if this is the case it just shows another reason why this product/company may not provide the best charging solution for tech-savvy consumers who use new devices.
The TripleCharger handles all voltage regulation internally and does not require any boosters or extra cables to charge certain devices. Max output is 9V and more than 1 amp; output levels range from 4-9V depending on which adapter is used with the charger.
I run the website for the company and I check our customer service email accounts daily, and MethodMan I apologize for the communication problem but we never received an email from you. Might have been caught in the spam filter, though - do you remember which account you send mail to?

the note said: Works with most consumer electronics (110V - max 275W, 220V - max 550W). Not for use with high-watt devices such as irons and hair dryers.

This guy has a cradle at 11 euros in hong kong he also sells trough ebay.
With tranportation I got my for about 22 euros.
Regards,
Be advised that the cradles offered by eXpansys, Brando, and others lack both external AC power and a spare battery charging slot.
I bought one from eXpansys based on bad information, and I'm pretty much stuck with it (it's not worth paying the shipping to send it back for what I would receive as a refund).
The lack of external AC means that if you shut off your computer, you also shut off charging.
The lack of extra battery slot, well, that's just a huge PITA!

It might be worth getting a power adaptor with a usb output. I received one with my fortuna clip-on gps. Along with my usb car adaptor, this means I just need a usb mini cable to use all power options, and also to sync the phone.
ie keep the adaptors where you need them, and just carry the usb mini cable around. It turns out this is a much tidier charging solution than I ever managed for my old p900.
Also, Be adviced that USB charging is way SLOWER than AC Adaptor Charging!
If you have doubts, record the time it takes to fully charge a battery or simply check the differences between the heat it makes when u connect to a USB charger and AC charging(which is HOT)
I got a dock from ebay - like the expansys ones (etc) it only charges through the USB on the computer. However, this suits me as most of my day is in front of the machine and even when off (as I use a docking station) the USB is still powered and hence charges the TyTN.
Wrote a small review here: http://rakh1.homeip.net
Rich
Rich, is it possible to plug in the Tytn charger cable into the back of the cradle and use it as a stand-alone charging station ?
I have the brando one, and I can use it via USB charging or by ac power.
Its uses the same connector in the back
Finally received mine today (the Brando/eBay one).
For some reasons, it syncs much slower than just using the USB cable??? :?
And the bright blue LED is constantly on... which is a bit annoying.
tytn cradle I had it.

Cradle that can charge battery seperately

I had a blue angel (Qtek9090) and it came with a cradle which recharged the Blue Angel and a spare battery.
Does anybody know of such a device for the TyTn?
How is one supposed to recharge a spare battery otherwise?
I ordered the ORA charger from eXpansys for my TyTN a month ago. It FINALLY arrived today, and it DOES NOT charge an external battery. It's just an upright stand with power for the TyTN and draws its power from the USB port (no external AC connection).
I must admit that I'm more-than-kinda disappointed about this!
Bought one of these...
I bought an OEM cradle for the XV6700. I discovered the XV6700 uses the same battery as TyTN, so the battery charging slot works perfect. You can't use the cradle to sync/charge the phone itself, but at $24.95, it works for me as a spare charger. I've used it to charge the OEM battery as well as the Mugen Power 1500mAH that I bought (again for the XV6700) -- both charged correctly.

Original vs Fake Xiaomi 27w charger video comparison

I have seen many people complaining about their 27w Xiaomi charger with problem of not turbo charging, low charging current, overheat, dont work with 20w charger, and etc. And I one of the these guys too. I have ordered two times 27w loosepack charger from chinese online shop and all are fakes. They dont give me consistent turbo charging and dont charge faster than 18w! This pissed me off because there are so many loosepacks out there and the original ones comes from 20w wireless charging bundling box, from mi 9 chinese box, or from 27w charger with box packaging which none of that chinese online shop sell that, all only loosepack which high risk of counterfeits.
Yesterday I bought the 27w charger with box in my local online shop. The seller told me he got the charger from local store in china and bought it to my country. After the charger arrives i tested in and yeah finally I got the original one. I always get "charge turbo" whenever i charge and measurement in ampere App can reach 4800mA which I never get even 3000mA with 18w or that fake 27w one.
So I made a comparison video of those original vs fake charger. I hope it can help you guys who experienced same like me and want to find the original ones. Here is my youtube video link:
https://youtu.be/xx-P6BxZzkU
If you want to see video later, here is also attached the quick glance of my both orig and fake ones. They do have difference in printing quality. And the Ampere screenshot of original charger for reference.
Great. Where can you get the original one?

I got it from someone who bought it from chinese local store.
If you want get the original one, you need to buy charger with official packaging box. Can be a bundle with 20w wireless, or standalone with box like i bought, but its very rare.
Specifically: aliexpress. Search the shop and see the feedbacks. Look for shop which can provide 20w wireless bundling in one box
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32976262381.html
I bought that bundle like 20 days ago, it should aerrive by next week at max.
But i got the "traveler charger" (Xiaomi 1A1C) which comes with a Usb Type C and Normal USB port.
Hopefully it charges correctly i will let u know but for now the bad comments i have read just say that they cannont turbo charge using the type C Port.

Yes 30w if you use the type c connector or at least that what they claim.
But since max supported for our device is 27w it is kinda useless.
But nevertheless I will make sure to post here once I get it and try it

Nope, it wont work. 20W wireless is working only with MDY-10.
It is not true that the original is only in a transparent box. I got it without this transparent box and it works well.

Can your 30w charger turbo charge mi 9?
So, anyone has a link to a reliable and tested seller on aliexpress for the 27w charger?
Here's a post to a review of the original 27 W charger ordered from Alixepress. I saw his review on a German forum too. You can also see a screenshot from the Ampere app. Looks legit. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79569598&postcount=87
Direct link to Alixepress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32974660297.html
You can also check reviews there, several people wrote that Charging Turbo works, you can also see it in their photos.
Personally, I've order the charger from here a week ago: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33001884969.html
Almost every photo review shows Charge Turbo, so hopefully it's true. I just have to wait until it arrives to try it out.
@arddy1, very nice post, a very detailed comparison. Thanks you!
I was convinced that mine was ok because I see "Charging Turbo" on the Mi9 every time I connect the charger. But looking to the charger details it actually matches the fake one you shown in your video. So I decided to perform some more tests.
- I tried to use a USB voltage/current meter but when I use it then I don't get "Charging Turbo" anymore, which means it blocks somehow some communication between the charger and the phone, could it be?
- in Ampere I can only get 2600mA, while using by cheap 2USD QC 3.0 charger I can get 3200mA;
- since this charger is effectively recognized by the phone with "Charging Turbo", I suppose the problem with the fake one is not the "protocol" or compatibility, but the amount of current it can send to the phone, what do you think?
The final test will be to perform a full charge with both my QC 3.0 and this one to see the difference.
My main concern now is: being a fake charger, is it safe to use it? may it damage the phone? What do you think?
I happen to have both with line and without, and both are working the same Both give turbo charge mode with cable and with wireless charger every time, i would never thought that one might be fake if haven't seen this post.
UPD. I checked were from i have ordered the original : https://www.aliexpress.com/store/3470060?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dazyZc0
I have got 27w+cable+20w wireless charger+eu plug, from that store and they came in one package. So i don't know if only the charger will be original. It was shipped ~10 days to Israel.

But did you actually measure the current with Ampere? In my case it seems I also have a fake one but I always get turbo charge mode as well. However when I measured the actual current in Ampere App I can see that the original 18w charger gives more current/power to the phone than the 27w one.
If possible use Ampere to measure if and report the results.

Just measure the charge time in my case if i remember right, 27w charges the phone ~1 hour and charger witch came with phone i didn't measure exactly but i think it something like 1 hour 40 minutes.
As for Ampere it shows ~1500 Ma and ~4.5v on 90% battery level on both chargers and both cables witch came with the chargers. And yes in Israel we have 220-240v power supply, don't remember exactly but i think it's same as Europe. For 5 minutes that i have checked the phone charged to 92% level

You should measure it when charge is still below 50%, after that charging current starts to drop.
It might be the case yours is a very good fake charger
I will also compare charging times with mine and the. post the results in a couple of days.
Hello guys,
I bought and recieved this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33000669695.html

Hope it helps

Phone showing charge turbo or not is not determined by the current. I have tested both mode in fake charger, the currents are almost same. It may be determined by that protocol or compatibility thing. When the cable is plugged in and your phone detects that charger is compatible, it will trigger turbo charging mode and allowing more currents to enter inside. But in fake chargers, although it have been already allowed, the charger hardware dont have capability to do that.
I can't test current using usb meter too because it caused the phone cant read the charger compatibility. So in the video i compare currents with app ampere. As long the voltage in app are about same, it can be compared.
About safe or not, i recommend you not to use it. The temperature in fake ones is noticeably higher when charging than the original, even the original has bigger output current.
