in brief this rom contains arcsoft MMS, Jbed for Java apps, .net 3.5 and a lots of free software
NB. This rom was cooked some months ago and it's my current rom, hence it's widely tested. This don't means that it's BUG FREE. From what I can remember XIP and sys files came from an official Kaiser ROM.
I'm not responsible if you brick, damage or cause whatever problem to your device or PC, use at your own risk!

ObexInboxEx: riceve i files bluetooth in una cartella prestabilita anche se il telefono è in standby, fornisce maggiori dettagli sul trasferimento con una notifica.
Advanced Configuration Tool 3.0: collezione di modifiche al registro per modificare aspetto, funzioni di WM
WM5torage 1.8: permette di utilizzare il telefono come lettore di memory card.
ClearTemp: tool per la pulizia delle cartelle di sistema da file temporanei e inutili.
Task Manager: strumento multifunzione, elenca i processi attivi, i servizi in esecuzione, le informazioni sulle connessioni di rete e altro.
keepass ppc: database per memorizzare le proprie password in modo sicuro in modo da portarle sempre assieme. anche in versione per pc multipiattaforma.
SMSMode: permette di scegliere la modalità con cui il gestore dei messaggi visualizza gli sms. Permette di modificare una opzione per non ricevere la notifica per ogni sms inviato.
PIMBackup: strumento indispensabile per il backup di appuntamenti, messaggi, attività, registro delle chiamate, contatti e file personali. Permette lo scheduling del backup.
pocket RAR: utilità per gestire file zip, rar.
PPCContactsManager: aggiunge alcune funzionalità al gestore dei contatti.
Synchro Time: sincronizza l'orologio con i server ntp.
Arcsoft MMS 5.0: software per gli mms.
PocketUno.

SuperBright: se attivato incrementa la luminosità dello schermo
Flash Format: permette di formattare la memory card
ClearType Tuner: permette di modificare l'aspetto del testo.
Fdc Start Menu: cambia la modalità con cui si utilizza il menu start.
MADE: text editor
AltTab: application switcher simile alla funzionalità ALT+Tab di Windows
pBar: utilità per la gestione dei processi attivi. Permette di chiudere un processo, invece che minimizzarlo, quando si tappa sul pulsante X.

Questa ROM è davvero interessante.. pensi di rilasciarne una con una built più recente come la 20273? Mi sembra più veloce e meno pretenziosa in termini di batteria.

no mi dispiace non ho in progetto di lavorare con nuove built.
ho provato il porting diamond -> prophet in passato ma senza successo..
devo ricucinare questa rom per aggiustare dei link e includere PDC al today, quindi posso includere qualcos'altro.. idee?

E' il mio primo upgrade, e la rom va benissimo.....Sembra leggermente più veloce del vecchio WM5 che avevo installato dalla fabbrica.
L'unico piccolissimo problemino è che all'inizio lo schermo è fortemente disallineato, e un newbie potrebbe aver problemi....

Only a little problem: at the start the screen is not centred perfectly, and it could be a problem for a newbie.

Where is the cube?
Everybody is talking about cube,
I installed 4.0.0.0.6 PV-Touch. I saw nice touch flo operations.
But when I press the button just below the camera button I see 6 Icons on the screen, I can move them by finger.
But I could see only three faces
1. 6 icons screen
2. Music, photos, video screen
3. contact buddies screen.
In cube it supposed to be 6 screen.
Other wise we should call it as triangle.
Can anybody is able to see all 6 faces?

Ciao a tutti sono Stefano, da qualche mese seguo lo sviluppo della rom e ho contattato Luigi che ha tradotto la rom da end->ita del P3600...
Questa estate non ho avuto tempo da dedicare per fare prove, ma non e' "difficilissimo" convertire la rom da end->ita ci vuole molto tempo...
Magari se riusciamo ad organizzarci qualcosa si riesce a combinare...
PS: Mi vendo il mio S200
PPS: Alcune cose cmq non vengono tradotte!! e la rom va testata tutta! xke alcune finestre potrebbero nn funzionare correttamente, e non credo sia possibile avere una rom bi-language

sono due giorni che tento di tradurre la pdaviet touch 4.0.0.0.6...
risultati nulli...ho già flahato tre volte e il cell non parte mai...torno alla vecchia rom inglese...
se qualcuno è più bravo di me mi puo contattare in privato? io sto tentando di aggiungere anche qualche software in piu come la camera 3.0 e altri...credo di sbagliare qualcosa in questo perchè quando faccio il buildos spesso mi da errori per file gia esistenti. ho provato a cancellare brutalmente dalla cartella sys qusti file e buildos si conclude senza errori ma alla fine il cel si impianta nella prima schermata di avvio.
se qualcuno mi puo aiutare gliene sarei grato...

qualche incertezza con htc album quando si è in visualizzazione di una foto e si preme il pulsante centrale quello in mezzo ai pulsanti del telefono il menu con le 6 opzioni e senza icone se si preme sopra i pulsanti funziona e si vedono le icone
buona ergonomia delle sotto cartelle

Per la verità nella nuova versione ho intenzione di non inserire ne HTC Album ne il cubo TouchFlo sono applicazioni carine ma poco utili meglio risparmiare sulla memoria e installare altri programmi che sono più funzionali come per esempio "Resco Photo Viewer".
Che ne dici dell'idea?

Per il software "Resco Photo Viewer" è stato frainteso il mio pensiero, vediamo di chiarire il discorso. Io intendo dire che è meglio avere una ROM leggera e permettere agli utenti di installare i software che vogliono e non obbligare a utilizzare programmi già farciti nella rom. Spero che questa volta sono stato chiaro, e non ho nessuna intenzione di inserire programmi non free nella mia rom.

mrlntn con il programma battery status la ver 1.04.203 beta4 non segnala la quantita di memoria disponibile sulla scheda sd con la rom caffie/korrand/crystal la segnalazione è corretta comunque la memoria viene vista e usata
per chi usa il prophet anche come navigatore gps io uso "igo2006plus" funziona senza intoppi

OTTIMA IDEA!!! Bisogna reclutare altri possessori Htc S740 per la lotta contro HTC.
...anche perchè guardando le caratteristiche (anche come estetica) è meglio S740)) dello Snap )) e non rieco ancora a capire perchè pur essendo molto simili , la rom c'è solo per lo Snapmad...
P.S. sto iniziando ad odiare lo Snap e in parte anche l'HTC perchè non è il modo di comportarsi (o tutti o nessuno)

... Also because looking at the features (also esthetics) is better S740 () Snap () and RIEC not yet understand why, although very similar, the rom is only for Snap ()...
P.S. I'm starting to hate the Snap and partly because the HTC is not the way to behave (or all or none)

Rom in italiano.
In questi giorni, grazie ai vari "pezzi" trovati sul forum ho messo insieme una rom per il Rose "leggera" (ho tolto alcune cose, tipo le lingue straniere, il reader rss e le note) che è per un buon 90% in italiano. In pratica è basata sulla versione inglese 6.1, alla quale ho aggiunto i pacchetti italiani trovati nel post riguardante il Vox. Effettuando poi un paio di modifiche al registro, ho ottenuto il T9 in italiano.
Non avendo tutti i file necessari per la tastiera estesa, ho modificato un file per quella inglese per averne una funzionante al meglio con la nostra lingua. Purtroppo il tasto Fn+Spazio non funziona come dovrebbe e apre il menù di scelta Xt9. Io sto provando da ieri e mi sembra tutto stabile. Faccio qualche altra prova e se pensate possa esservi utile, posto il risultato del mio lavoro e le modifiche che ho fatto. Però ricordate che io non sono responsabile di eventuali problemi !!!

TIR and many others have passed to Rodium so their ROM aren't so new. THe only Italians ROM I've found are from:
ROMEOS
MUTTIM, MM ROMS

Ormai molti italiani sono passati al nuovo Raphael2, il Rodium e quindi non si trova molto in italiano. Io infatti mi sono messo il cuore in pace e sto in inglese, tanto per scrivere non uso il T9 dato che uso la tastiera. Le uniche ROM in italiano cmq erano di ROMEOS che è andato su un altro sito ma che ormai è passato al Rodium. Le TIR le trovi su un altro sito e anche loro sono passati la Rodium. L'unico forse è MUTTIM o MM che ne ha fatte per un pò anche in italiano ma mi pare che adesso non le traduca più.
Speriamo in qualche altra anima pia

you have to change a key in the registry using total commander or another registry editor:
go to HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD\
and change the value of "curlang" to 1040 decimal (410 Hex)
press ok, perform a soft reset, and u are done
ita:
devi cambiare il valore di una chiave di registro:
usando total commander o un altro editor di registro vai in
HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD\
e cambia il valore della chiave "curlang" in 1040 decimale (ovvero 410 esadecimale)
conferma la modifica , fai un soft reset e sei apposto

I found sometimes not sufficient the above modification to registry. I found useful, using Advanced Configurator, to put the italian language in input configuration. You need also to set the TouchPro keyboard instead of Fuze

Ciao, a volte a me non è bastato impostare il valore 1040 nel registry, ho dovuto impostare la lingua italiana nella sezione input di Advanced Configurator. Alcune ROMs per il Fuze impostano anche un valore del registry CWSLayout mi pare a 1, va messo a 0.

poi volevo dirti che sulla mia rom precedente
quando aprivo una foto scattata con il gps attivo
con HTCAlbum
dal menu trovavo una voce "mostra sulla mappa"
cliccandoci sopra mi apriva in automatico Googlemaps
e mi mostrava il posto dove l'avevo scattata.
possibile che questa voce si abilita quando ti installi il googlemaps in secondo momento?

Opera has a problem with long paths for saving files, this is caused by the name given to the storage card (scheda di memoria), it's too long. The only solution is to rename it to "Storage Card" modifying this registry key with the RegEdit

The HTCAlbum feature you mention is related to a HTC footprints function which is not included in ROM sorry, i don't like to have it.

Yes but since ResProxy is activated, the RAM will get low cause of the dynamic memory management. Mine went down till like 24MB free. After i disabled the ResProxy, the RAM stays stable around 75MB. I don't know if it's worth to activate it though. I'll see when i will release the new one.

What is ResProxy? I am not too familiar with that.
I am currently running 30mb free on the ROM in my sig.

ResProxy is a service loaded at startup which prefetches data in RAM and dynamically allocates memory for programs that need it closing other ones.

se si potrebbe evitare durante il flash del sovrascrivere
di Oper9.exe e di OperaL.exe.
sicuramente avrai notato che questi 2files si notano anche
se è impostato nascondi file in rom,
io me li cancello sempre, recuperando 8mb di storage
e con Opera sempre funzionante
per footprints cosa mi consigli?
si può installare sulla tua rom o rischio un casino?
mi piace molto quella funzione del googlemaps

Per footprints, non puoi installarlo a caldo, è necessario includerlo in fase di cucina.

se provi a cancellare quei due file e ricontrolli
lo spazio di archiviazione
noterei circa 8mb disponibili aumentati.
ciò vuol dire che in fase di flash la destinazione
del programma coincide con i file in rom.
quindi meglio di cosi non si può,
perché se la destinazione di Opera fosse stata diversa
poi non ci trovavamo con tutti i collegamenti.
quello che io ti chiedevo era,
per evitare che i files si sovrascrivono
sarebbe possibile sfruttare direttamente i file in rom?

la rom è stabile e veloce..poi bellissimo il dialer e il tab "all black"di conversazione in telefonata(non so il termine giusto) ,purtroppo a me non attiva il vivavoce ,quando in chiamata metto il telefono a faccia in su,malgrado lo abbia selezionato.Preferisco invece il task manager originale che comunque mi sono successivamente scaricatttima notizia che la prossima release abbia il tab dei documenti..ma per quanto riguarda quello degli e-book,niente?Ottimo lavoro
