Sprint HTC Touch PRO

Hello all, I am considering buying a Sprint HTC Touch PRO but I am not sure if I can use the Roms in this forum since it is not a GSM phone, could I change the Rom in this phone? Thank you to all in advance.
I just got the HTC Touch Pro for Sprint yesterday and I notice that the only place that has ROM's is over at http://ppcgeeks.com
Edit: Take a look at JD's ROM for the Sprint TP, it's the best!!!

lastest wm 6.5 for Touch Pro 2 CDMA (Sprint)

hey im about to get the touch pro 2 when it comes out early sept for Sprint im looking for a easy quick non damaging 6.5 for my touch pro 2 can anybody help me out so i can have it ready for my touch pro 2. i dont want the 6.1 version and we all know why lol thanks again my email is [email protected] if u need to contact me quicker. plz and thanks again for the help everybody.
There aren't any roms for CDMA Touch Pro 2 because it wasn't been unlocked. There won't be any roms until the unlocked is released.
I believe it's unlocked now, thanks to the Telus TP2 being released. Mighty said he is working on a CDMA TP2 rom as well.
I believe there are ROM's available ready to be deployed as soon as the HSPL is ready for the CDMA version of the TP2. Currently only the GSM version has been unlocked. It can't be much longer.

[Q] HELP!

I have a UK unlocked HTC titan, I get horrible reception in my house and AT&T has given me a 3g Microcell to fix it, well the Microcell has its own problems, but regardless they say that my phone wont work with the Microcell anyways because its only getting E (edge) so they convinced me to get a new phone (Nokia Lumia 900) which i did like, but ultimatly took back because I love my titan so much, they no longer offer the titan 1 and would only give it to me for $199 through their site (which is BS because the titan 2 is $199) I know i should just et the titan 2 but i dislike the curved glass, I like the look and feel of my Titan 1, I would have already dropped AT&T and went to verizon but they have no WP7 phonesand I want to keep my titan...
So I'm asking:
Is there a Rom that I could flash to my titan (Its an Unlocked UK version (British lady voice and all) and AppHub Unlocked) that would set it to the AT&T rom and possibley get better signal as well as 3G capabilities?
I would like to flashmy rom and use the one from AT&T to recieve 3G and use the Microcell as well as overall better coverage.
Im somewhat of a noob to the flashing and dont know if thats how it works or what... Can someone please help?
Thanks.

What a situation you got yourself into I reckon there will be plenty out there who would like to swap their att branded htc titan to your european unlocked titan Anyway back to your question..., yes you can flash your phone with stock cingular (att) rom but it is not a straight forward flashing. You will need to use "goldcard method" to flash a stock cingular (att) rom to your phone. I advise you to read this related threads on goldcard method:
1. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24809318#post24809318
2. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1371073&highlight=goldcard+spl+downgrade+method
You need to download the Cingular (A&T) rom 1.10 from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334468
You just need to rename the nbh file into ETERIMG.nbh to use in your goldcard.
In summary, to flash stock AT&T rom you need to use the goldcard method to flash the Cingular ROM 1.10 to your european unlocked htc titan.
Hope this help.

Thanks a lot! I appreciate the response! Now im faced with 2 options ... sell/trade the phone (I LOVE THE TITAN!) or Get the materials and try out the Rom to see if it fixes my problem. I guess we'll see.
SO YOU ARE TELLING ME THEORETICALLY FLASHING THE STOCK AT&T TITAN ROM TO MY UNLOCKED VERSION WILL FIX THE NO 3G PROBLEM? IS THERE ANY DRAWBACKS OR ANYTHING WITH THIS FLASH, DO I NEED TO MESS WITH THE RADIO? ANY AND ALL INFORMATION IS DEF APPRECIATED!
IF IM GONNA DO THIS, I WANNA KNOW WHAT IM IN FOR AND WHAT IM GONNA GET, AT THIS POINT AT&T GAVE M A MICROCELL TO FIX MY SERVICE PROBLEM (BUT NO 3G ON MY TITAN) AND THEY ALSO GAVE ME AN EARLY UPGRADE OPTION, AND WITH ALREADY HAVING THE NOKIA LUMIA 900 AND HAVING IT FAIL IN COMPARISON TO THE TITAN, SCREEN SIZE WISE (OTHERWISE BEATIFUL PHONE), AND THE TITAN TWO UGLY WITH THE CURVED GLASS AND BUBBLE BACK, LOOKS LIKE IM GONNA HAVE TO TRY ANDROID AGAIN (UGLY UI, BUT MORE APPS)
Thanks again.
There is no guarantee here unfortunately:] and the gold card method is a hit and miss process to say the least. You probably know that by now, as there are few threads running on this forum about this topic. The stock Cingular rom 1.10 has its own bugs (lots of them) you can find more about this by reading opening threads in the general section (Q&A). Your choice Goodluck.

[Q] AT&T vs International and Dev vs S-Off

Hey guys, I'm getting ready to upgrade to the AT&T M9, coming from the AT&T One X (Evita, yes from three years ago). Just looking for some clarification/verification of what I "think" I know regarding phone versions and ROM's to support my ORD.
Q1 - With the M9, the international and AT&T versions are the same hardware, so ROM's from the international forum can be flashed to the AT&T version, correct?
(Not the case with the One X since the international phone was a different model).
Q2 - What are the advantages of converting to the Dev edition? If I can bootloader unlock and S-off the AT&T phone, doesn't it essentially achieve the same purpose?
(Maybe I am missing something here... just curious, as there seems to be a lot of interest/discussion on the dev edition for the M9. Normally, I would just bootloader unlock, s-off, and then flash away - want to make sure I am not overlooking some benefit).
Thanks for any input - it was a lot less options being confined to just one forum with the Evita.

One X (unlocked, s-off)
Currently running KarbonKat 1.2-3
I just got the AT&T One M9. So far its great, my only two complaints are battery life isnt too great, and it heats up pretty fast.
anyway, There really is no difference between the Dev and the ATT one. they both run the same hardware. I achieved unlock through the HTC Dev website, and S-Off through Sunshine. Also, the ATT one can be converted to the international or Dev edition.
Im running Android Revolution HD 5.1 on my ATT M9 perfectly fine rite now much smooth than stock ATT RUU.

A1. Once you s-off yes you can flash International Roms.
A2. The only two advantages to converting to the Developer Edition is.
1. You will get OTA updates from HTC directly not wait until AT&T decides to send them out. So faster OTA updates
2. No Carrier bloatware apps.

I'm going to Italy and wondering if I can put a Italian prepaid sim in the phone and it will work? Or should I flash to the international version? I have converted to the dev version already.

Flashing different rom for new carrier

I have a verizon htc one max s-off, rooted, running the adrenaline rom. I am about to switch carriers to tmobile. I bought a cheap straight talk kit just to see what the service would be like but i only was picking up the edge band?
Anyways after reading some post i added lines to build.prop and changed sku_id=13 to 11 in the defualt.xml in system/customize. It still would not get 3g or 4g. Everything else worked great. I read somewhere my rom is missing the bands.
So i think all the custom verizon roms wont help me? I need a international rom correct? Can you flash a different carrier rom over? I don't want to brick my phone. I don't want to stay with verizon either. Would love to keep this phone and rom. But its looking like i need a different rom to use tmobile.
I found skydragon v2.0 vzw thats supposed to work. But the dowmload buttom at 4uplod.com always lags out. Could not find another download.
My overall goal is to get 4g on tmobile. Any help much appreciated.

Thanks! I looked up super cid and saved the page.
I think I'm just going to pick up a T-Mobile m7 for now. Seem to be pretty cheap. Having trouble finding a tmobile compatible HTC one Max rom
