Is it possible to flash Cooked Roms from LifePlus on it?
When not: who can find some XDA COMET Roms /links/webpages?

the comet is an atom life .
i have an atome live rom on my german O2 XDA Comet .
They are not the same
the radio from one does not work on the other, the bootloader seems to be the same, not sure yet, further testing will be made.. roms (os part work on both).
it appears that the gsm controller is different.
i know this is going to be ignored as usual but still tryin wouldn't hurt... The radio is different i agree but is there a way out is the radio for comet available seperately i can't find anythin here and ppl have really moved on and has left us here to feel pooor and without phones if someone could get the radio file from comet it would be awesome and our phones would breathe again

Hi,
does you phone work with Atome Life ROM? I've read after upgrade to AL ROM the calling funktion doesn't work anymore because the radio is different. Can you confirm that after upgrade the phone works and you can calling in Germant GSM Network?
i can surely agree it does not i have a comet and i flashed Atom Life ROM to my o2 Comet and i lost my radio as well as my IMEI so please don't flash it with the USB just use miniSD to change your WM on your device learn from others mistake

spot on.... don't try to flash it through usb with the ROM Update Utility just use the miniSD card method to upgrade your windows this will only upgrade your Operating system and will not kill the radio at all i have a dead Comet coz of flashin it through USB

do you try atom life firmware on comet with SD card method?
it works?
If u write comet in atom or viceversa os will work but no radio forever.

Hi, i have also an XDA Trion from Germany and i have loaded both ROMs that are available on the ftp site......the CHT 9000 eng.exe and the Tytn one is available for download but from my point of view the tytn rom is much snappier compared to the dopod CHT 9000 rom......
I having misalignment problem on the screen...
I hard reset and it's fine for 2-3 days now... Looks like a ROM issue..
I have a Trion with Dopod WWE...
Which one fix the misalignment ?

Why you affirm this?
I am sure because there is only one person who has seen no alignment issues after flashing a ROM AFAIK. That was the HTC ROM and the rest of us have had issues.

Ext_ROM is the extras that a provider uses to customise the ROM.
Dumped ROMs have no purpose except to confuse us poor souls and give us hope that the modders on the forums can find a way to use them!

Download any of the ROMs from here:

ROMUpgradeUT.exe is inside all the ROMs self-exe, just extract it using winrar (right-click) or cabextract.

you can, but your device will still be in english.
According to O2, the XDA Trion is actually due to be released in the UK next month, so at that time there should be an official WWE ROM for the Trion, complete with all the O2 extras.

Then using for awhile like 2 weeks
And the hang came, hang made can't switch on for few times
After I can turn on my Atom then I use Bootloader flash to
XDA ATOM WM6 AKU0.7.0 WWE (8MB PAGEPOOL) -- jiggs
Hang still here
Then bootloader flash to
XDA ATOM WM6 AKU0.7.0 WWE (6MB PAGEPOOL) -- jiggs
Hang again ~_~ , can't turn on my mobile again, so i need to wait until i can turn on again
So I am asking how come I got the hang

try to remove the battery, hard reset. then after a while reflash WM6 AKU 0.30 again the fix one.

Bring it to the O2 Service Center in your country. Hanging regardless of OS version is usually a symptom of motherboard defect. Ready your proof of purchase to be able to avail of the warranty.

well try it and find out if there is? That is the point of flashing roms to see if you personally find that the rom is better or worse. What one person finds great in a rom another thinks it is bad. Its all personal taste in the end. But you will never find out unless you try

mate. And, when did you buy you Atom Life? I've never heard RC2250407B2...
Try the latest MWg WM6 ROM, mate. Go to www.mwg.com and find it yourself.
And if you have anymore questions about Atom Life, read through all the threads related to Atom Life here and you may find all the answers.

Hi, instead of selecting Mwg Atom Life select O2 Atom Life in the device selection page. When you download the ROM there, the ROM should be WWE_RC2140907B1.

how ru all, must be fine,if not u wil be fine.i have been searching for any new good rom for my o2 xda atom. i already upgraded my xda atom from wm5 to wm6 professional (aku .7). so i now i want to upgrade to some new version experts and others, to wm6.1 . PDAVIET is somewat unstable for o2 xda atom sometimes my bootscreen changes it colours or its size changes.so which new rom is better for me.and one more question is this all pdaviet versions are safe as it is not the genuine ones .i donnu exactly abot this versions but i thnk these are just modified version.i dunno i am right or wrong but i dont understand these versions.and i am confused with these lots of roms.i am facing probs in this.so exxxperts please help with this .if u have any easy modding imate jam wm6 please provide the links..thnks in advance freinds.
Hey Friend, Im Abhilash, I just gotta tell ya that I too have an xda atom.
And guess what i bought it as a second hand phone as i am not a rich guy.
And you know what, when i got the atom it had no phone on or off option.
The sim detector was not functional. it trie typing *#06# to see the imei no,
it says wireless radio not installed. so i thought that if i install a wm6 rom update it would work. well GUESS AGAIN it went through all the process and
hung up at burn radio stack and it shows burnin radio stack o% in the pc screen. i dont know what to do. when i put the battery it shows upgrade utility. im stuck.... helllpppMEEEE.
if i use mini sd card, what are the steps? what files must be present in the minisd card? when i insert the card, what button am i supposed to press to boot from the minisd card. im a new guy here i dont know how to post a thread. please give me email ids of u and ur friends pleeeaaaasseeeeeeee.

i brought my xda atom to a technician to bring back my dead xda atom using jtag. it was a successful but the problem is, he's having a problem in the radio rom... my xda atom is now alive but we cannot insert a sim card coz of the said problem... any idea to help us? thanks.
