is this phone working with any sim card at all?
and how can i unlock this phone if it is possible to unlock?
coz i place my sim card in the phone and the phone would say no sim card.

buddy put a sim code in and forgot it now we cant unlock his phone to make calls. What do i do get a new sim card or is there anything to help with this? thanks all
Do you mean that he put a PIN code on the SIM or change his SIM to another carrier and needs his phone SIM unlocked (i.e. so it can take any SIM card)?
Hi everyone I'm desperately looking for help... I got myself ATT&T Atrix which was claimed to be unlocked from US but unfortunately it's not, and I can't find any way to sim unlock the phone... I have tried everything else like rooting and putting custom Rom like ginger blur or rewriting the existing sbf file etc. and it still hangs on the start up with the message SIM NETWORK PIN etc.. what can I do since the actual phone is from the US and I'm in Australia... I tried calling att and they were unwilling to provide me an unlock pin
are there any sim unlock pin generators available ?
is there any app or script which blocks sim pin message ?
my imei is: 353648040718081
only way to do it right now is to buy the code off ebay...about $17 and its working. rooting or flashing will not unlock your atrix

It is my first post, I just bought my htc 7 mozart.
I want to unlock it, so i could use my polish carrier sim card (carrier name Play).
I have sim-unlock code that i got after giving my imei number.
My question is when do i write this sim-unlock code?
Many quides on net say that i should insert my sim card (not orange uk but polish play) and after switching on the phone will be displayed area for entering this code.
When i turn device on i get information that there is no sim or it is invalid and i have 2 options :
1 click 'emergency call' (in this area) i cant type my unlock code.
2 click 'close' and device continues booting and after few sec i get main wp7 screen.
So i'm not asked for my unlock code.
Where in this phone is place to type sim unlock code?
I've seen some people here unlocked their htc mozarts with code, could someone write please how it can be done?
I say once again it's locked on orange uk.

When i use my polish card or no card at all in mainscreen of wp7 i see a cell 'no sim' i click it and again emergency calls only.
Where to type this sim-unlock code?
When I unlocked my Orange UK phone, it asked for a pin when I inserted my O2 sim card. This was when I entered the unlock code and after that it's been fine.
I don't see why an overseas SIM would be different, but one way round this would be to buy a UK PAYG sim from eBay or similar, then use that to unlock, then use your sim after that?

ok i have a sgs3 i9300. i am from Trinidad and i use digicel. what i want is to use a different network.. so all i need is step by step instructions on how to root my device and also how to unlock my sim to use a different carrier.. if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.. please dont tell me use th esearch and blah blah blah.. i used it and still coudn't figure out how to unlock my sim... peace out..
You don't unlock "your SIM", the SIM is given out by the network provider and is registered to that network and nothing else.
If you want to use a different network, just get a SIM card from the provider you like the most, put it into your phone and off you go
If then again the phone is locked to a specific network or even the SIM card it came with, IIRC there's an app at the market that aids for unlocking, but I never had to use it so I'm not too sure about that.
As for the rooting question:
In the development forum of the I9300 area there is a thread about "CF Auto Root" - that's all you need.

I have a strange problem with my phone. Hope someone will be able to help me.
I was not sure if my phone is unlocked when I came on holiday. Bought and put a different provider sim card and there was no signal. Also showed nothing to type unlocking code, so I thought that maybe something with a new sim card is wrong.
I bought a second card from another provider to be sure. On the screen appeared: enter sim network unlock code or something like that. ok so I have to unlock.
Now the strangest thing. when I put back my old sim card (o2), on the screen appeared again: enter sim network unlock code!
Since then I can not use the phone because it still asks for the unlock code.
I tried to change the soft but still do not have signal and no longer asks for the unlock code. anyone know how to force a window to enter the code?
I tried unlocking code from a cellunlocker but not working and and when i switched on my mobile is showing invalid SIM card.
someone has any ideas of what i can do with it?
