thanks electracks, but i intended to ask for a countdown timer which has a setting where you can choose your own mp3 as signal (please excuse my bad english - it is not my mother-tongue...)
but actually it is not necessary to have this option, i'm simply looking for a nice countdown timer for my smartphone...

xD sorry for my second board, but thought of another addition which would be great to the default alarm program. My problem is if i use the same alarm ring tone, after a while i either dont respond to it, or it stresses me out. Is there any way to add another option to the list of 'random', that would cycle between them?
I have a few personal tasks that i need to do at a specific time of the day and at time i am too busy and forget about it
I am looking for an app that will pop up reminder (and play sound) at a set time. Also need to be able to do repeat event so i dont have to program it everyday. So it sort of like the calender that come with android but since the calender on the galaxy does not allow me to customize the reminder ring tone. I cant hear a "beep" when i am in a busy environment.

I just use the alarm on the clock app
you can use the alarm clock on the phone
you can set the exact time.the ringtone it plays.
and you can set the days you want it to ring

Hi guys. I need to find an A+ alarm clock for my T-Mo myTouch 4G. There are many different alarm clocks, but I can't find what I want.
I need an alarm clock that is able to follow my phone's notification style (and FREE). Meaning, if my phone's ringer is ON, I want for the alarm to make audible alert; if I have it set on to "vibrate" - make vibrate alerts, same thing when my phone's ringer is silenced. I need to set up 2 everyday of the week "On" alarm and 2 I want to turn on/off myself.
I really have no clue how I would install, if you provide me a link rather than a title to search for in the "market".
If you will, please give me instructions if you are going to suggest a file rather than a title. I VERY THANK YOU!!!

I'm having an original ROM where using the default clock app and I'm setting a countdown timer.
When the timer expires, I've got a screen that the time is over, but no sound. According to the settings, it should be the one configured by me.
Any ideas?
Please don't tell me to use another app, I want to use the standard clock.

I've installed the app "Volume Ace Free" and noticed that the Alarm volume was set to 0. After I changed there, the timer sound started to work. Crazy!!!!
I had the same problem! I installed the app you said and now everything is fine!
After the configuration I uninstalled the app!

Why the countdown can be set directly on the watch with the mm:ss settings but not the alarm with the hh:mm settings (which needs the smartphone app...) ?
what is the reason of that? i can't find the answer anywhere.
