Neorose UI for prophet. - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 ROM Development

Has anyone thought of porting this theme to one of the prophet roms ?
It is a very cool looking theme and the shortcuts and menu's are really nice and user friendly, i played with my gf's vox and i was amazed at how comfortable the menu's were. Altho it was designed for non touchscreen phones i dont see why it should not work with the prophet.
Anyway there are some pics below
and here is a Vox rom that it can be ported from : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=488527

yes it is for smartphone.
but i do not see a reason it should not work on a touchscreen, trust me, i played with it for hours and it is such a cool theme that i am tempted to buy a s710 vox. Even if it does not have full touch support, the prophet has no keyboard and no arrow keys, this theme is designed to be used with the d-pad, you can totaly control your homescreen with one hand with this theme.
it also has the functions of adding applications into the menu with custom icons of your choice, it can even link opera mini without having to open java first....
If i were a rom cooker i would be making a rom with this theme right now, but i do not have the time or skill, which is why i thought one of the current cookers could try.
you have to admit, it would be something different to all the current htc home and manila2d roms... and it does look very sexy .....
here is a youtube clip of the neorose theme :

check it out...

it lets you make pages and shortcuts to what ever you like and it's got abilety to scroll sideways

This looks like a very promising program, but I like to wait for a next release. Configuring is still quite cumbersome and I don't like this since I am not such a programming freak. I hope that some better tools will be added to configure the application. Although it looks very good.
I would **** to change htc cube to: But how can i do it from your Coffie rom gullum?

PointUI Home 2 Working on the Rose!

Hey Rose lovers!
I got bored with my Rose since no one is still coming out with a WM 6.5 ROM for our Roses. So, upon searching about how to bring a new life to this little beauty, I came across this:
http://community.pointui.com/topic/smartphone-without-touchscreen-supported#post-37071
It's not working 100% (as some applets only work with touch screen), but it's working pretty well.
Love my rose even more now.

I'm keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed.
Looks very good, but I'm somewhat afraid of trying it on.
Have you been using it for long?

using it for 3 weeks. why afraid? it's a commercial application and completely safe which you can uninstall if you don't like it. I didn't do any hack or something. it just works on WM Standard.

I've downloaded the latest Home 2 Pro Build 2.1.06c. You can choose the version you want here.
The latest PointSense 2.0 is only applicable for Touch-screen phones. I'm using the older version, PointSense Suite 1.1.0.1. I just use the applets, not the bottom bar (which is usable for touch-screen devices only).
Hi
Thank u!
But it does not work well on my device.
When i choose pointsense on customize theme
it reboots pointui but the old theme is still there.
Also the previously mentioned prob are still present.
i use
pointui home free 2.x
pointsense 1.x
currently the best choice is still original htc rose theme of htc.
small - fast - everything is on view.
How is the battery life with pointui? anyone using s743? I've used pointui a few months back (actually I am the one who posted the fix for Settings button - michaeln) on my s743 and the battery life was bad. Normally my s743 lasts for about 2 days with casual use, with pointui it would last about 10hrs. I've tried different applets that helped some what but really nothing that would make me continue using poinui. was disappointed, really nice interface, but battery life was more important than good looks.

cookies home tab vs maxmanilla theme review

well i have a touch pro 2 wvga gsm
now i have installed both systems
this is cookie home tab 1.8.5

maxmanilla 3.0
i have installed both and with maxmanilla when you press on the icons they freeze up but max has a nice varity of clocks
cookie home tab is nice and very relible and you can use the editor to help customize it with a music player in front
what are your experiances with these two themes
I use CHT and and donĀ“t have any complain, all is working as it should.
+1 CHT
@ What rom are u using
i like the maxmanilla theme better!
im using deepshinning rom x9
i like maxmanilla because it has so many apps for it ..but cookie also has a wide array of edit options ...but for reliabilty cookie just about takes it if max could fix there freeze and landscape issues without installing a cab for the fix ..maxmanilla would have a good product
but for now ...i
cookie = 9
maxmanilla=7
maxmanilla edits
cookie home
Co0kie, every time!
i installed max 3.0 and CHT 1.8 both.
i like CHT, its very beautiful and editable.
i installed CHT 1.8.5 too, that not respond in CHT editor part
I also use Cookie all the Time. But i think the screenshots from Maxmanilla look very well.
yes max is very versitile but it freexes up to much
Hello.
I am a clock addict and i like simple , clean clocks, easy to read time.
There are many clock styles and colours and many of those are to complicated and hard to read fast.
I gues, cookie home tab 1.7 is better than maxmanila because the downloadable clocks looks nicer.
On wvga those clocks are very smooth, without blur or other graphic glitch and a little bigger than maxmanila clocks.
I found some quality clocks on the net, maybe the best we ask for.
Dinik Anastasia clock
ovi's hero clock
3lixir clocks.
All works only with cookie home tab and makes your phone look stilish.
full respect for developers.
PS: It's just a matter of taste. Both are good software and looks alike, the choise is yours.
To makes things clear.
Max_Manila can't work together with co0kie's home tab. This is written more then once by co0kiemonster self. CHT is totally different then max. So that you have freezing is normal because both systems won't work together in the right way. Search for this issue on XDA. I have found it 5 times...
CHT for me.

I'm not the only one one XDA that still listens to that sort of stuff and has it on their phone then!
"The ultimate aim is to produce sound that is completely acceptable to the listener"
Hello.
I really need that clock, can someone share that, please.
I searched the web one day for it.
Thanks.

Keep in mind that a port will never be possible because they are two completely different operating systems.
The one in the second post is HTC IME, which is a GREAT keyboard. I find it a bit ugly. I did mine (last modification was a few days ago). Here I post an screenshot. Is Gingerbread keyboard (concretely Keyboard from 2.3 by Steve Lin in the Market) modified.

wp7 keyboard have all I desire in keyboard:
Emoticon's key
Great prediction
Great precision
I never find all three in the keyboards of android
htc have the emoticon's key and precision, and swype have a great prediction but it isn't free multiling have a good prediction, but not at the level of swype.
Last question: i read very good opinion about the samsung's keyboard, there some apk for test it?
You should try out Thumb keyboard, is also has a WP7 skin and all of your desires (at least that's my opinion) and a LOT of options
You can find it here on XDA
There is also a beta for the next release, with text predicion after you type 1 letter, works really well, but is still a beta (and thus free to try for a limited time!)

I can recommend this, if you want to have the Nexus live wallpaper
Not sure if it's been fixed yet, but in the version I used, touch interaction was odd. Instead if the usual Nexus thing, the animation just sped up like crazy, until all the thingies were gone off the screen :|
