This is a port of the excellent Da_G Fuze (GSM) Kitchen. It has been fully modified to work on all CDMA Touch Pro's. I personally have a Sprint Touch Pro.
Da_G has been gracious enough to consider this the "CDMA Version" of his very popular kitchen. Without his help over the past two weeks, I would have never been able to get the new Bepe (Ervius) style kitchen working. I also received a lot of initial help from MightyMike. His kitchens and personal OEMs are what got me started. So, here are the usual "thank you's":

Stable enough for every day use? Well, I am (Yes, I stole this from Da_G, BUT, I REALLY AM USING IT DAILY!)
Instructions for Pre-Built ROM Flashing (Via PC)
Step 1. Be sure your phone is Hard SPL unlocked and ready for a ROM. (Check the link at the bottom of this post).
Step 2. Extract your desired ROM to a clean folder.
Step 3. Connect your phone to PC via USB (Make sure ActiveSync/Mobile Device Center goes connected).
Step 4. Run Custom_RUU.exe in the folder you extracted the rar to.
Step 5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 6. Wait for entire Windows Mobile customization process to complete and phone to soft-reset.
Step 7. Hard Reset. (Start->Settings->System->Clear Memory)
Step 8. Wait for entire Windows Mobile customization process to complete and phone to soft-reset.
Step 9. Job done!
Instructions for new style kitchen (build 21501 and above)
Step 1. Extract to a clean folder
Step 2. Run erviuskitchen.exe
Step 3. Click "load rom"
Step 4. Choose "dB_ROM-21501"
Step 5. Scroll down to section labelled "HERMAN-Device: HERMAN_External_Packages" in blue text
Step 6. Double click packages here to enable or disable them (first column reads True for enabled, False for disabled) (Leave alone for Defaults)
Step 7. Do the same for section under that labelled "SHARED-Devices: WindowsPhone_Components" as step 6 (Leave alone for Defaults)
Step 8. (Optional) Click "Save ROM" and choose a filename, to save your package choices for loading in the future
Step 9. Click "Create ROM"
Step 10. ROM is available in .nbh form in kitchen folder \HERMAN_RELEASE, you can either flash it with the included RUU.exe or rename to RAPHIMG.NBH and place on fat32 formatted SD card, for SD flash
General Notes for ROM and Kitchen
Always hard reset after initial flash. (I always wait till Autorun/SDAutorun complete and device soft resets)
Soft reset after hard reset doesn't hurt anything. (Comes from my old Titan days)
Don't worry about all the "Overwriting..." in the kitchen build process. It's normal and expected.
DO NOT use XIP 21502 in Kitchen. It's broken. I know what it is, but there is no change from the 21501 XIP, so just use it.
Report all bugs, etc here. Da_G and I have worked hard to make this as bug free as possible, but, Shhhtuff happens.
Don't blame me if you brick your device. It's not my, or the kitchens, fault. You recognize the potential problems that can arise from flashing your own ROMs on your phone. Da_G and I will take no responsibility. "Use at your own risk."
All that being said, I have had no issues during flash processes. I use this as my daily phone and have no ill side effects.

How To Create EXT Packages for New Style Kitchen:
Download the EXT_Package_Tools.zip below and extract the two exe files inside to the <TOOLS> folder of the Kitchen.
If you have a cab, run Cab2OEM.exe on it first. Otherwise, goto step 3.
Run EXT_Packages_Rebuilder.exe on the OEM Package directory.
Place the resulting folder in the <EXT\Herman\Common\*> Directory it belongs in.
Example:
Open two explorer windows. Have one window open to the <TOOLS> directory of the Kitchen. Have the other window opened to the directory containing your CAB or Original OEM Package.
Now, if its a CAB, drag the CAB file and drop it on top of Cab2OEM.exe. This will open a command prompt and close it. You should now have a folder in the Explorer window containing the CAB file.
Make sure the folder contains all the files, including the *.rgu file, etc. Now Take that entire folder and drop it on top of EXT_Packages_Builder.exe (Drag the Folder, not the files inside, but the ROOT folder). This should restructure the Folder created in step 2 to have a <files> folder inside of it that contains all the files for the Package, including any .provxmls. There will also be an <app.dat> and <app.reg> file (if applicable). The <app.dat> is the old "initflashfiles.txt". The <app.reg> is the old "*.rgu".
Now check the reg file and make sure it looks setup properly. Cab2OEM.exe likes to bork registry files sometimes. So I would look over this carefully. After you're sure its good, move the folder to the appropriate area in <EXT\Herman\COMMON>. Load up your fav ROM pref from my Kitchen. Scroll down to your package and make sure its "TRUE". Cook and be done.
EXT Package Folder Structure:
<Root Folder> - Name of Package
--<files> - Folder that contains all files that will be installed to \Windows
--<app.dat> - The old <initflashfiles.dat>, contains instructions to copy files, etc.
--<app.reg> - Contains all registry entries for the Package.

You should enjoy that keg mate. Good work I did wonder when you would be bringing this kitchen out after noticing your posts in the original thread (I own a GSM Raph but have been thinking of cooking roms for CDMA aswell and wasnt sure if it was possible).
EDIT: Oh yeah, I have quite a good copy of Xboxmods new Manilla port in EXT packages if you want a copy that works in this kitchen

I have been debating adding XBoxMod's TF3D2 for a while now. I have seen it cause some issues in other kitchens, so have been very skeptical of adding it until more stability is shown.
However, I wouldn't mind throwing it in my test kitchen and firing off a test build to see how it runs for a day or two. Getting off TF3D and onto TF3D2 (Rhodium!!) would be my next logical step, and very much worth it.
The reason it took so long for me to release this is my own perfectionism. I can't stand to release something that isn't nearly flawless. I have had it "almost finished" for about a week. Then I would notice another issue and have to fix that. Then another, and another. Most were very minor (sounds would not list properly in settings, mortscript wouldn't delete from autorun, provxml's would backfire, etc). I finally set a goal of having it released by this weekend, regardless of status. Luckily I feel this is in great shape as most of the issues I have found are resolved.

These are the packages that I cook by default into my ROM. The main thing with this kitchen is that it seems to crash when you try overwriting a module with a file, in TF3D2 there is a taskmanager.exe that tries to replace the original module which is why the kitchen dies when cooking, in my version I have just removed the exe and all works fine

Is there any way you can make this an installable RO for the Fuze? I know it's a kitchen, but the only computers i have access to are the ones at work at this time, and I don't want to install anything to them. I love the taskbar icons!

Uh... you can't just flash a Sprint ROM to an AT&T phone. Doesn't work like that. One is GSM, other is CDMA.
Someone else correct me if I'm wrong.

I see bad things happening with this being in the GSM forum. I see nebies flashing this to their Fuze and bricking there phones. This should be moved to CDMA. One quick question why do we have a CDMA forum and a separate GSM forum if we are going to allow CDMA in the GSM forum.??????????

Good work, pal! Now, considering the amount of misinformation floating around in the whole Raphael section, you may want to link to my first post in this section (This Sticky). This contains all the needed stuff to HardSPL and flash the roms. I know that you are familiar with PPCGeeks, but a lot of poeple aren't, so giving them instructions on how to do it will probably save a few people from either bricking their devices or simply from posting questions such as "how do I put this in my phone?"
Again, good work and it is great to finally see some Chefs in the Herman section !

Thank you for trying it! But, trust me, you are NOT the guinea pig. I have my wife and my touch pro's I try it all on first. Then I have a couple friends that also have them. Between the 4 to 5 of us, we thoroughly test it all. I have been developing this initial release for quite some time now. See below...
Btw, let me know how it goes. I'm here to fix things and make improvements and adjustments. As far as ATContacts is concerned, hit me up with a link and I will check it out. At the very least I might add it to the kitchen as an external package.

Its a no-nonsense rom for users who want to use their Windows Mobile OS and Phone with all its genuineness. Upgrade your Gene (P3400i and maybe older P3400 with S/N HT8xxx and HT7xxxx) and add new life to it with Windows Mobile 6.1 and a lots of great apps many of which are taken from Elfin. I've given a great amount of time in bugfixing and error checking, and therefore for the most part, this rom is bugfree and some of the known problems that i found after all my efforts, i have given workarounds for those in post #2.

1. How to configure Hotmail's Pop3 Access in default messaging application of Windows Mobile without using Windows Live?
Solution: Create a new email account as usual and use these details:
Step 1:
Email Address: Your email but dont use @hotmail.com, instead use something else like htmail.com or something like that. Please not that this is only necessary if your email address end in @hotmail.com. Other Windows Live users dont need to do this.
Password: Your Password.
Step 2:
Uncheck the checkbox : Try to get e-mail settings automatically from the Internet
Step 3:
Select "Internet E-Mail" as your service provider.
Step4:
Enter your name and an account name.
Step 5:
Incoming Mail Server: pop3.live.com
Account Type : POP3
Step 6:
Username : Your email address (full email including @hotmail.com or any other windows live address that you have. This time give it correctly)
Password: Your Password.
Step 7:
Outgoing (SMTP) mail Server: smtp.live.com
Check the box "Outgoing Server requires authentication" and "Use the same username and password for sending mail."
Click "Advance Server Settings". Check the boxes "Use SSL for Incoming Mail" and "Use SSL for outgoing mail". Select "The Internet" as Network connection and then click "Done."
Step 7:
Select the Automatic update interval you want or manual for no automatic mail checking.
Click Finish.
Now open the account in Messaging and click Menu>Tools>Options. Click the account name, click "Edit Account Setup" and change the email address to the real one.Click Next, Next untill Finish and then click ok to close the options menu.
Thats it. Hotmail will be accessible from messaging now.
2. ActiveSync Starts up Again and Again Automatically Even When the Phone is Not Connected to USB cable or Bluetooth
Solution: It happens for some strange reasons that i haven't been able to find but for now there is a workaround for it.
For Users who use Exchange server with ActiveSync will have no problem if they have set the update schedule to manual. Otherwise, if you are using the push mail feature of exchange, then ActiveSync will run all the time for syncing and that is very normal.
For User who dont use Exchanage server, they should create a fake server and then set the update schedule to manual to prevent ActiveSync from running on its own. Here are the steps for that.
First of all, configure ActiveSync with your PC if you want to sync with PC using the usual method. After that:
1. Open Activesync on your phone and from the menu choose Configure Server...
2. Enter any email address. Clear the checkbox titled "Attempt to detect Exchange Server Settings Automatically". Click Next.
3. In server address, enter localhost or anything else. Click next.
4. Enter any username, password and domain name. I mean random strings. Also check save password checkbox.
5. Clear all the checkboxes in the "Data you want to synchronize" list. Click Finish.
6. Open Menu>Schedule. Here set both the dropdown lists to "Manually" and clear both the checkboxes. Click OK and close ActiveSync.
Plus as an additional step, delete the unneeded notification for Active Sync. To do that :
1. Open DotFred's task manager (Task Manager 2) and go to the Notifications tab.
2. In "Notified Programs", search for repllog.exe. You will most probably find 3 entries for it.
3. Scroll horizontally and out of these 3 or what ever entries, find those which have the entry "AppRunAtTimeChange" or "AppRunAfterTimeChange". Delete these entries, using the third icon from left on the bottom toolbar.
ActiveSync wont give you any problems after this.
3. Audio Booster doesn't allows entering Equalizer settings and checking the equalizer checkbox + Missing Audiobooster Option in Audio Managers Menu
Solution: This is not a problem and happens with some versions of AudioBooster and Audio Manager, if their version numbers are different. To resolve it :-
Just start AudioManager, let it build its library a little and then play a song for minimum 5 seconds. After that start AudioBooster, adjust one of its sliders a little. Then soft reset your phone, and both the problems will be solved. What happens is, they create their respective registry settings on first start and after that everything is fine. In Original ROMs from HTC, since on first boot the Customization applications runs, it sets up the registry itself. But even with that, you have to reboot your device anyway.
Useful Add-ons for this ROM
First of all, these apps are not mine, i am just posting these here for convenience. All the credit goes to the respective authors.
1. HTC Home version 2.1.1005.722 with Directory Fix by Schen
This is the best version of HTC home i have seen yet. It has almost no memory usage problem, takes only about 1 MB or so of memory. The original HTC home in the WM 6 original p3400i ROM was a memory hog and full of memory leak related bugs. This one is with 6 tabs, an extra one for music player management from home screen. And it saves its files in a seprate folder out of \windows so it doesn't makes your device any slower. A must have in my opinion.

1. Freeze?? It makes a sound and returns after about a minute thats it. No freezes for me. I think you should've waited for a while.
2. ya man, mms is missing! I'll try to find the mms composer and cook a new version. I dont know how i missed it. :| For now i've attached the cab file of the latest version taken from kaiser, i think. [CAB DELETED AS THE COMPOSER IS ALREADY PRESENT IN THE CURRENT VERSION]
3. USB to PC's second mode is not working. But its connecting fine. Isn't that so in your case?

Thanx a ton for this ROM. Just flashed. I didn't have any issues while booting first time, which I can confirm.
Audio Manager is opening, in my case at least. Can't play and check now, since I am in office
As far as USB to PC option is concerned, can confirm that I am able to Sync. Not tried the second option yet, since I am in the middle of syncing my contacts and appointments. Will confirm later on.
The only concern, I feel, is lesser RAM as compared to other ROMs. But peformance in terms of folder browsing etc., is brilliant. May be a tradeoff.
Again, thanx a lot for the kitchen too. But I am not really sure, how to work on the same. Though I tried, didnt' work out. So, gave up for the moment.

Removed the SQM (Software Quality Metrics), USB to PC icon of Elfin as it was not working.

I would say, so far this ROM has been impressive. Great work mate. Waiting for the fix.
Just one comment though. I don't know, many will agree with me. Will it be wise to remove Office and Adobe Reader out of this ROM? Both of them are available in cabs and can be eaily installed in Storage card. I was thinking that removing the same from the ROM will save some valuable space in storage. Just a thought.

This ROM, in my knowledge, is the first rom for New GENE which is complete in all respects. It has all the features of WM 6.1 in it (only Welcome Center is removed as it was of no use at all). Plus i have also included some essential utilities. I wanted to include some others too but was neither able to find OEM's for some nor was i able to create with the tools i have.

Buddy, i wanted to make a ROM that is complete in every sense. I can think of removing Adobe Reader but removing Office doesn't makes sense as it is one of the foundation packages of Windows Mobile. This is one of the features that makes Windows Mobile platform unique. so i don't think it would be a nice idea to remove office. And you have about 44-46 MB of free space, i think thats a good tradeoff for a ROM that is quiet complete in features. Anyways, if you still want something like that, i will also uploaded the full kitchen, you can use that to generate ROM for yourself, with only things that you need. I have included what i need and what i thought most other ppl will too.

No it wont buddy. Its for new gene not the old one. It should work on devices with ONBL 1.10.000 or higher and Serial No HT8xxx. If you have such a device with SPL unlocked either using olipro or orefkov's method, you can try it. This ROM only contain the OS and Extended ROM modules so your spl, radio etc will be untouched even if it doesn't works. Just flash back your current ROM and your phone will be working again.

First of all dear, thats not my ROM. thats lomlom's. secondly, i think you gave gone through only first stage of unlocking your spl. just go thru the tutorial again and try using the orefkov's gene unbricker as described in the other threads. Otherwise, if you have tried it, please describe what you exactly did and what exact result you are getting while using orefkov's method.

Buddy, If your ONBL is 1.17, how come your mobile is an old gene. As far as i know, 1.10 and above ONBL is only present in new gene devices sold as p3400i in asia region and may be p3400 in other parts of the world. Please double check your mobile box for correct model detail and also post the version of your SPL, GSM and OS.
The serial no is present at the back of the mobile behind battery i think and is also there on the original box of the mobile, on a sticker on one side. Post these info then only i can suggest whether you can flash it or not.
Thanks for offering me help, but i need someone in my local vicinity for that as testing a ROm may require a lot of flashing and reflashing. Neither can i upload roms so many times nor is it fast enough to do that from a distance for you. But i appreciate that you offered your help. Thanks

ROM Notes
This ROM is built on OS Build 20771 with many modifications. There are two editions, HTC & ATT. The difference between the two are AT&T Edtions have the AT&T Dialer, PTT and Video Share while the HTC Editions have the HTC Dialer and Video Call.
No Radio comes with the ROM and I suggest you use AT&T 1.12.25.19 radio for best performance which can be found here.
ROM is fully UC compatible. I suggest you read about UC here. I have also created a Pre-Install Cab for users that will install SDConfig.txt and a few programs on your storage that will be loaded during customization process. Check below for more info

Q: How/What do I need to install this ROM?
A: Please read the install instructions and all related guides before you install.
Q: Why is my antivirus warning me about a possible trojan/worm/virus?
A: It is a known problem with the CustomRUU.exe file. There is no trojan/worm/virus and your AV programs is just giving a fals positive. Search around these boards to confirm the problem.
Q: Why is Opera and Google Maps not cooked into ROM.
A: Not everyone uses the same version of those programs so it is up to the user to install what version they like. I have provided links to the latest versions of each in the following posts.

A: Depends on what your use is like. If you are an AT&T user and use video share then get the AT&T edition.
Q: I like to use different flavors of TF3D or customize TF3D to my liking.
A: Download the No Manila (TF3D) version and apply the TF3D you like.
Q: Can you cook in this version of TF3D?
A: No that is why I created the No Manila version.

No my head has been in the kitchen...got a link to it? I guess it can wait for the next release. That should be when Xboxmod and crew release the new TP2 Manila.
If I am not around to fix the links when the ROMs are done uploading then you can check the ROM folder in my 4shared. Other download options will come later...about 25 minutes left on the upload.

The feedback on the app in that thread didn't seem very positive - you can't even select the quality in that app, like you can in the one already in the ROM. That might be more of a downgrade than an upgrade . . . but to each his/her own, I guess

I have been using your various versions of ROM for more than 2-3 weeks now. I really like your work. (I like your taste, 3 icons per row, the folders, list of programs you cook in etc,.). I even downloaded your kitchen and was trying to cook something myself but failed. ( I was trying to create package from CAB files and include them in the ROM. But at the end of the cooking i get error message called user hiv does not match or something... i tried for 3-4 hours and gave up. I couldnt add even one of my packages to the kitchen)..

Thanks for this, I've been itching to flash to a new ROM. This one fits the bill and the Rhodium edition is amazing to look at. Already got my usual apps and BlackBerry Connect and SEVEN running. No problems here!
Best ROM ever, stable and fast, everything works great except some well known TP2 manila bugs.
Virus scanner comes up with a generic trojan when I try to unzip the file...
I've flashed several different ROMS from different people and never come across this before... Is this a devious ploy? or perhaps just a coincidence or known problem?

It's a devious ploy to take control of everyone's Touch Pro and unite them to battle the iphone... (eyeroll)

Q: Why is my antivirus warning me about a possible trojan/worm/virus?
A: It is a known problem with the CustomRUU.exe file. There is no trojan/worm/virus and your AV programs is just giving a false positive. Search around these boards to confirm the problem.

Known bugs of this ROM
I applied the "Camera Loader" provided by Helgee to get more free RAM 4Mb -5 Mb, and as you know that Manila 2D use more RAM, The effect is all 3rd party app that use camera can't start it, Camera can't start from "Photo and Video" Widget, but can start by push camera hardware button and link in start menu.
If someone can find how to fix it please inform me, i will update my ROM.
If you restart yor device you need to set again the SRS WOW HD.

OK Guys, Here is the Kitchen:
1. You can directly build the ROM, and the result is same with my ROM at this thread
2. I moved some folder inside SYS to "removed" folder, and if you want to build non M2D ROM (Default Titanium) you have to move that folder again into SYS Folder.
As confirmed by dheerajk27, Titanium in this Kitchen is working well.

Cooking course class
COOKING COURSE CLASS for NOOB Chef
As request from some people to make a tutorial in cooking a ROM, I open a “COOKING COURSE CLASS” to fulfill that request, everybody can joint my class here.
Before you joint to my “COOKING COURSE CLASS”, the most important thing you must do is “Download my 23017 Kitchen”, then make sure you already install DotNET 2 or above and Visual basic redistribution 2008 in your PC, you can download it at Microsoft Site.
Extract my Kitchen and you will see the folder:
- EXT\Packages (Some Custom app)
- OEM (Driver and Default Device app)
- RELEASE (The result of the ROM)
- Removed (Some folder that I don’t use to build ROM)
- ROM (contain of XIP of NEW GENE & OLD GENE)
- SYS (OS)
- TOOLS (some app to build ROM)
If you already have that you ready to follow my class, the registration fee is USD 1000 (Just Kidding…..)
Here is the Course Module:
Lesson 1: How to use my kitchen
It very simple to use, go root of the kitchen, you will find a bat file there. If you have OLD GENE (OG) click “build_OldGene.bat”, and if you have New GENE (NG) click “build_NewGene.bat”, and the process will run automatically, the result of your ROM is in “RELEASE” Folder, the file name is “RUU_Signed.nbh”
Lesson 2: How to build a Newer ROM with my kitchen.
You have to download the SYS and Xip of the new Build.
SYS:
SYS contain several folders, basically it can be grouped as: Common SYS, Language, DPI, and Resolution. And for GENE you should have the Common SYS, DPI_96, and resh 240*320. For language use it as you want, default is 0409 (US English).
Remove everything inside my SYS Folder, and then put the new SYS.
XIP:
The Component of XIP are:
1. LangDB
2. OEMXIPKERNEL
3. WinCENLS_WWE
4. MSXIPKernel
5. MSXIPKernelLTK
1,2, and 3 are device related, 4 & 5 are OS related, so if you want to build a newer ROM, replace the content of 4 & 5 inside ROM\ XIP_OLD and inside ROM\ XIP_NEW
How if you can’t find MSXIPKernel & MSXIPKernelLTK from the new Build?, very simple, some people only provide with xip.bin, download that file, and dump it with XIPPort.exe, here is the tools.:

Now, put the attached file and the xip.bin in the same folder, then run XIPPort.exe, click “dump xip.bin” and wait until folder “OUT” appear, then click “make pkgs”, close the XIPPort.exe. go to folder “out” and you will find “Files and Modules” folder, inside each folder, you will find folder 1,2,3,4, & 5, take only files and module in folder 4 & 5, and put it in ROM\ XIP_OLD and inside ROM\ XIP_NEW. And don’t forget to delete any *.txt file inside that folder.
Now you have a XIP from new ROM.
Lesson 3: How to make a custom app
Prepare your cab or package of the app. If you use cab file you must convert it first, use this tool to do it:

Put the cab in the same folder with this tools and click “cab2newkitchen.bat”, it will transform cab to new kitchen.
After that put the packages inside folder EXT\Packages of my kitchen.
Lesson 4: How to make a shortcut to the app and group it in specific folder
In the each package app folder, you will find file “app.dat”, open it by notepad, than you will find line like this:
Directory("\windows\start menu\programs"):-File("BlackMe.lnk","\windows\BlackMe.lnk")
It mean, the shortcut of Blackme will be putted in programs folder, so you will find it in stat menu.
If you want to group it app, for example in folder “Utility” in the start menu, that it very simple, just change the value of the above to:
Directory("\windows\start menu\programs\Utility"):-File("BlackMe.lnk","\windows\BlackMe.lnk")
After that, save your file, click menu file, save as. In the save as type column choose “All Files, In the Encoding Column choose “ANSI”,
Lesson 5: How to change the app icon
In the each package app folder, you will find file “app.reg”, open it by notepad. If you want to assign the .png file as an icon of Blackme app, then write this value:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start\Utility\BlackMe.lnk]
"Icon"="\\Windows\\Your_PNG_File_Name.png"
"Group"=dword:00000000
Take a look to the bold word, you need to write “Utility” because your shortcut in the Utilities Folder, if it not in Folder, just remove “Utility” from there.
After that, save your file, click menu file, save as. In the save as type column choose “All Files, In the Encoding Column choose “Unicode”,
Lesson 6: How to get a more phone storage
There are some trick to get more phone storage.
1. Use a light app
2. MMS, for this time, we almost never use MMS, email is more powerful than MMS, so you can use the older version of this MMS app, you will get more phone storage and more RAM.
3. Remove module/folder inside SYS. If you don’t use some app inside sys, you can remove it.
4. The default installation of CAB is in Program Files folder. So if you directly convert the cab to packages, the file of app will be put in program files folder and in the windows folder, so every file of the app will have clone, it will waste your phone storage. My suggestion, avoid to put app in the program files folder, put it in the windows. Before you convert the cab file, you can edit the cab by “WinCab Manager”, and then change the installation directory to windows, save the cab and convert it, back to lesson 3.
Lesson 7: I am forget what else, I will add some tip if I remember….., If you have some trick post it in my thread and i will update The module in my “COOKING COURSE CLASS”

If you want to update your ROM with M2D WM 6.1 V1.0, just click the download link, and you will be directed to the folder containing 2 files:
1. OLD_GENE_M2D_WM61_V1.0.part1.rar
2. OLD_GENE_M2D_WM61_V1.0.part2.rar
You must download that 2 files, put in the same folder, and select one file ( up to you which it) and extract it, and it wll extract it.
Update your ROM by PC, it alredy include the ROM Update utility
and again you must install WINRAR in your PC to extract it.

i do have win rar on my laptop
agin i need to load one of the two files of the 2 which ever i chose rite and not both the files sorry to ask again im just confirming as this is new to me ie seeing two files

No, you don't need ROm utty to extract it, OK follow my step:
Put in the same folder in your PC, right click one of that files and choose "extract here"

Of course it is not new, The HOT ROM now is wm 6.5, I upload this because you ask me to share my ROM, and in my Signature it clearly said "M2D WM 6.1" and that is same with Others M2D ROM.

I upload it in 3 hours by my phone, first time i uploaded it, it terminated when reach 80%, because of that i split it in 2 files. I am lucky because i have unlimited data pocket and gene is good in power management, so the battery is not drain fast.
And for uploaded that 2 ROM, I need 6 hours , but i still can received/maked a call and sms during uploading process.

It's unprotected, You can do anything with it, I suggest you take the Manila Package and XIP. My Manila Package was ported from jade ROM. XIP is more stable and have more free RAM 2 MB Than before i Modified it.
Also I already try your ROM .
I hope everybody have a good cooperation in build a ROM here, not as competitor.

hey besfen thanks for sharing this beautifull ROM ...i have not been a grt fan of manila roms....but your rom changed my opinion abt manila roms....its fast and working good....i just have a couple of hinderances i found using this rom...
1)the phone does not switch off if i try to press the power buton...yes it gives me the warning that it will be turned off but it just puts the phone in standby...which mean soft reset is the only option if i wanted to restart the phone...also taking the battery out is the only way to switch it off...
2)active sync keep starting again and again which i was able to fix using the workaround provided by krazy for his Pro users ROM....
and Congrats buddy for the Jr Bes.....

The built in opera has auto rotation disabled. To enable auto Gsensor rotation in Opera, install the cab in Start>SystemTools.

Here's a few things about the new Visual Kitchen:
- This is a dual device kitchen. Make sure to select the correct configuration for your device.
- This kitchen is pretty new for me, and I am still somewhat of a visual kitchen noob. As always, I will do my best to answer questions, but I'm learning this kitchen as I go, so bear with me.
- This kitchen makes porting new builds from other devices relatively easy -- more on this in time..
- The kitchen has duplicates overwrite feature, so you won't get BuildOS duplicate errors, but what this also means is that if you do have duplicates, the first in the chain will get overwritten by the last. There's an option to alert of duplicates, but you gotta look.
- This kitchen handles OEMs differently than older kitchens, so you can either put your OEM's in the appropriate OEM folder (you can delete option.xml), but you can't disable any packages in OEM folders in the kitchen. If you want to be able to disable packages, you need to convert them to EXT packages. What you do is take your old style OEMs and put them all in one folder, and drag the entire folder onto EXT_PAckages_rebuilder.exe in the kitchen, and it will convert for you. Then you put the new OEM in the appropriate Device sub folder of the EXT folder -- ie: EXT/RAPH800/23001/RAPH800_External_Packages. If your package contains modules, you need to move the module into the files folder of that package.
- To select or deselect EXT or SYS packages, just double click it in the kitchen, once you've got the kitchen running. Packages in the OEM folder can't be deselected, so if you want to remove any of them, you need to remove the package manually.
- To run the kitchen, double click erviuskitchen.exe and the kitchen will open. Then choose load rom in the upper left, and choose the latest groveROM build. This will automatically load the stock settings for my ROM.
- To build ROM, click create ROM in the upper left. Watch the bottom of the screen for progress. Once done, your new RUU_signed.nbm (the rom) will appear in the RELEASE_RAPH800 folder.
- By default, the ROMs are build with a 6MB pagepool, so be sure to change it to your desired PP with the PP changer -- I perfer 24MB. Then flash the rom with the Custom_RUU.exe as normal. Or you can change in in the rom build by clicking the "other" button in the upper left before cooking.
- I don't care what you do with my kitchen. You can use any OEM's or files you find, but please give me the proper credit if you post a public ROM with elements of my work, or repost any files. Thanks.

Im still working with getting used to the VC. I keep having issues with a Rhodium package that ive used in the past that wont load( but thats probably the indian and not the arrow). But also Ive Used Rstoyguys OEM for sounds for awhile now, but ive noticed that in the last month or so the power on/off sounds dont work. Groove do you know of anything that would be over riding them from your sys/oem etc ? glad to see your back up

It prolly has something to do with the order in which your oems are processed. You prolly have a reg setting that is getting overwritten. Export your rgu for the manila package, and convert it to a cab with cereg editor, then cab install the reg settings into a rom that has the manila cooked in. The other possibility is that a file or something is getting overwritten. Watch the process for overwrite warnings.
Also, how are you adding the oem -- as OEM or EXT? Where are you putting the package exactly? How did you convert it.

16/05 First release:Porting HD2 WP7 rom to NoDo (see 2nd post)
New theme with transparency I've called Aero
HTC Hidden Wi-Fi works since I've updated some OEM packages. To have a wifi mac adress which don't change at reboot try to set it in the nvram.txt file (see my second post)
Rom is unlocked and prevented to relock.

05/06 Update:Green key is now hard remaped, I've chosen the function of bluetooth Headset: Play/Pause multimedia, Skip by pressing twice, Answer a call (when receiving), End call, (when in call), long press to rapidly call someone by speech input.
Replaced camera button by a software button with autofocus like on Androïd so no more blur.
Radio is working without the need of headphones.
Added keyboards layout for some other countries and added some cool features. More layouts to come soon.
Improve performances, localisation (assisted gps - agps), Bluetooth, battery consumption. (mine is between 3 and 6 mA)
Solving of certains difficulties to establish a link with some Wi-Fi routers.
Smooth gradients (no more 16bit banding bug) without lost of performances.
Backlight adjusted and set to never by default (work have to be done)

Tutorial to port sys (update to NoDo)
Ok guys, I don’t know why DFT haven’t release an update for HD2 earlier since it take only few days to a noob to achieve a working NoDo rom. Their first version was built on a test rom with developer’s certificates from Microsoft and HTC, debug tools, recompiled drivers for HD2 and a method to build SLDR and NK sections. They had before everybody a test version of Mango too. So I suppose they, or only one, is working for HTC or has good contacts and perhaps had a commercial interest or was more interested by the exploit than giving users a great experience of WP7 on HD2, updates as soon as it’s possible and tools/knowledge to members like ervius, AnDim, Nokser etc. to achieve that by themselves. Someone in another post suggest an agreement not to release their mango before the 24th, it’s quite possible. But I don’t know and I don’t blame, it’s life lol
Perhaps we’ll see a version of Mango for HD2 soon (and new exiting videos^^’) but since a lot of people are waiting for NoDo (some desperate posts made me cry XD) I’ll give you a first version, and better, the method to achieve that by yourself for the next coming.

PS: open roms with an archive tool like 7-Zip and take the RUU_signed.nbh file, we only need this.
1. A new radio: (optional)
The radio is the part00.bin in the Data.zip
With HTCrie open the nbh which contains the radio you want, select GSM and extract the GSM.nb
Open it with an hex editor and search for 7F 45 4C 46 01 01 01 61, it’s the beginning of the part we need. The end is the series of 00 just after the last AMSS string you can find (refer to DFT part00.bin if you need help).
Keep only this section (delete the rest) and add some 00, for example if the files ends at the byte e004d0h go to e004ff.
Save the file, rename it part00.bin, you’ll have your new radio (in this case 5.66.09.21a).
Replace it in the Data.zip, you can flash now with DWI to test it.
You’ll show the new version in the Settings/About of WP7.
2. Change The SYS by 7392 Step 1: Common packages
With HTCrie open the nbh which contains the 7392 SYS build (or another you want), extend OS/IMGFS and select SYS. Extract it to a folder.
Do the same for other rom(s) containing extra languages in another folder.
Add the extra *_LANG_0XXX packages from the second directory to the first, after that you can delete it (the second folder lol, if only English was my native language^^).
You can use NabSync and NabSync_Lang_0XXX packages or not, if not delete them, just remember you’ll not need to add MOS entries in default.hv in this case.
Put the metadata package in another place, we’ll use it in step 2.
Put the content of all other packages in a new folder (for ex called IMGFS), with HTCRIE open the same 7392 rom, extend OS and in IMGFS content select .ROM and .VM modules, extract them in your IMGFS folder.
It’s your new SYS.
You could past/overwrite it in DFT IMGFS and build the rom now it will function (the DFT video of March) and YES it’s as simple as that, you’ll have new stuff from NoDo like copy/paste but not the possibility of Hidden Wi-Fi since it depend of OEM packages.
PS: It’s possible since there isn’t many changes in NK and SLDR sections made by NoDo, so we can use like that. dsm files are not very important (just to have good references of packages) and rgu content is added in default.hv
Modules that need to be updated are:
NK: cachefilt.dll, hd.dll and osaxst0.dll
SLDR: exfat.dll, filesys.dll, k.coredll.dll, k.fatutil.dll, kernel.dll, mtpuldrsvc.dll, pm.dll, sdbus.dll, sdmemory.dll and unifiedblock.dll
3. Change The SYS by 7392 Step 2: metadata package
With HTCrie extract the metadata package of the SHUBERT rom which contains OEM that you need, so we have to play with 3 metadata packages: DFT, SHUBERT OEM, MOZART SYS.
It could be a little simpler if we have a 7392 rom for SHUBERT but not for the moment.
Some files need to be updated, first is BasePolicy.xml, compare the new content of MOZART with DFT one, same for SCHUBERT (replace C:\WM700\release\LEO and C:\WM700_7392\release\MOZART by C:\WM700_7392\release\SCHUBERT). If you find new entries and you judge them useful (refer to dsm and find the package) then add them in MOZART one (it’s the most important for SYS).
Second is DefaultCerts.dat, these files contain certificates. In hex each one begin with 30 82 ?? ?? 30 82 so you can cut this file in x parts, one for each certificate.
The common build is Microsoft root, oem roots, Microsoft Windows Mobile PCA0, oem, Microsoft Mobile Device Unprivileged PCA0.
We’ll keep DFT one as bas as it’s include Qualcomm infrastructure development, Microsoft Corporation CE Image Update Test and HTC_Develop_Test, useful for later (we never know^^). DFT has included HTC_Develop_Test twice (like in dsm beside Microsoft Corporation CE Image Update Test) so you can remove the second.
What you need is to take DefaultCerts.dat from other metadata packages, extract OEM 168 or/and OEM 169 (personally I’ve included both from other roms so I’ll never have to touch this file again) and insert oem/oem root certificates in DFT one.
packages.cif and packages.sof are certainly updated but you can edit them with Imageinfo.bin, packages.cif/sof Tool.
Compare the imginf.txt you obtain for each roms you use (you can sort this file to make it more simple).
Like with BasePolicy.xml, if there is an entry that you judge useful, just add it in packages.cif and .sof (refer to this tool’s post in forum to know how use it well, but it’s quite simple).
The last two files but more important are default.hv and user.hv
To edit them just drag them onto HVEdit.exe by AnDim, you’ll obtain default.hvm and user.hvm which can be edited like rgu files.
To rebuild hv just drag hvm onto HVEdit.exe
I suggest keep the 7392 ones as base, compare them with DFT originals and modify entries you want.
For some you need a little knowledge (refer to forum) but for most it’s language entries and some tweaks.
You can refer to rgu files which differ and take a look at NoDo and 7392 pku to know which files/rgu are concerned (see forum to know how obtain pku for each zune update and extract them but don’t use files as they are in your build since most of them are not suitable (except dsm), they only contain information to update files/modules)
You can add for exemple your LiveID useful for HD2 users:

Copy the content of the new metadata package in your IMGFS folder. Now you have a fully functional SYS that you can use instead DFT one Let see OEM packages.
4. Change OEM packages Step 1: common packages
With HTCrie extract in two folders (like for SYS before) the OEM packages, one for DFT (for most you’ll find them at the wrong place: in SYS - like for most of TEST roms you can find) the other for the rom with most updated HTC packages.
You don’t need HTC_8x50_OS_UI_LEO as we replace it by HTC_8x50_OS_UI_SCHUBERT
You don’t need StartKitl and kitl.dll from DFT as it’s debug tool (we’ll see later) and HTC_CSPOSDrivers is new stuff so don’t search it in DFT rom.
Other packages which can be used without modification beside HTC_CSPOSDrivers are CSConn_DB, HTC_Global_Customization, OEM_8x50_BLDR, OEM_8x50_BSP, OEM_8x50_LOGO, OEM_8x50_MODEM, QC_8x50_OS_MM_CFG_2 so just delete them like for HTC_8x50_OS_UI_LEO in DFT folder to see more clearly.
5. Change OEM packages Step 2: updated packages
Like I’ve said we could use DFT OEM packages as they are but we won’t have new stuff from HTC like Hidden Wi-Fi. So we have to update some modules.
We could update the most of them (certain drivers are HD2 specific) but since we can’t update NK/SLDR sections for now you’ll got some troubles (I’ll speak of that later).
So for each package we change all files,rgu and dsm but we have to keep some modules from DFT.
For HTC_AppDrivers and HTC_OSDrivers don’t keep anything (so delete them from DFT folder) but remove HTCConnectionSetUp.dll since it is in SLDR and have some dependencies so you’ve got some troubles to connect secure wifi networks.
For HTC_8x50_OS_UI_COMMON, OEM_8x50_OS, QC_8x50_OS_GPS, QC_8x50_OS_MMRIL overwrite all modules with DFT ones
For HTC_8x50_OS_WIRELESS overwrite all modules. wl_server_serial.dll and wlan_oem.dll were files, we need updated ones in modules from new oem package for HTC Hidden Wi-Fi, the other thing to do is to verify in default.hv that BtOem, RSS and WLANOEM entries are in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\ sections like in new roms and not in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\ like DFT’s one (and never both) otherwise it won’t work.
For OEM_8x50_OS_CAMERA replace modules and add camerasettingsmanifest.0XXX.xml from DFT in new one (since these files are normally in SLDR in new roms we have to add them). Use DSM editor to edit c6158f86-ef71-4a8b-8c04-0cf57c158b2f.dsm and add entries for these files (refer to this tool’s post to know how use it but it’s easy too).
For OEM_8x50_OS_SURF replace all modules. But you don’t have to add Backlightmdd_htc_6541.dll, just be sure you have backlightmdd.dll instead in default.hv like in new roms.
For QC_8x50_OS replace modules. You have to delete windiag.dll or verify in default.hv that “dll”=”windiag.dll” is replaced by “dll”=”” like in new roms.
6. Change OEM packages Step 3: extra packages (optional)
HTC_OEMAPPS contain OEM software.
You can add from different roms and operators. Just add the *.xap and * _License.xml you want, edit mpap_HTC_MASD_01.provxml to add/have only entries for these files and use DSM editor to edit 47c557c0-08b2-493c-a380-08c72d78e3ba.dsm and update the list of files in this package.
operatorpkg contain the HTC or Operator personalization files. Like for OEMAPPS, keep/add what you want from different roms, Email accounts/providers, Browser favorites are useful, MNS_Cust_xxx too, I’ve personally built a new theme with transparency called Aero, added the entries in the default.hv and add the 02XX*.xaml in this package.

After use DSM editor to edit 438abf0c-b691-4259-a742-1f224fa3b5ba.dsm like before.
You can add developer stuff/kitl and HTC tools packages too: AutoDeviceConfig, CommsDogfood, CoreOSDogfood, dogfoodDM, EtwChannelDefaultInternal, KitlShell, LoaderVerifierTestCerts, NetDrvVMINI, QC_8x50_OS_TEST, SensorView, SirepForPlatDev, StartKitl, TouchTools. GPSxxx from HTC_8x50_OS_WIRELESS.
Extract them from a test rom and add the content and entries in default.hv you find in rgu files.
HTC_TEST tools are xap files: DebugFlagEdit, GCFSettings, HTC BATTERY TOOL, HTCGPSTool, RegisterEdit, StopWatch, StressTool, USBModeSwitch. Refer you at the HTC_OEMAPPS explanations.
You have finished the job with OEM part, just extract the content of each of these packages in your IMGFS folder.
7. Wi-Fi problems: (optional)
Some people had some troubles with the old roms and wifi. In forum most were speaking about the SD-card but it didn’t solved the problem (and gone back to android^^).
It’s not the only problem. If you examine the file nvram.txt which is used to enable the built-in wifi chip there are some differences between files from DFT, HD2 3.14, SCHUBERT operators.
EDIT: macaddr=00:11:22:33:44:55 in its file seems the place to put a mac adress for routers with some mac filters.
I list it below, so i use a mix from HD2. When I was using the original, I didn't reached secured networks, I had to remove battery for hours.

8. Build your rom:
All this process can be found in the forum for more explanations:
Rename the your IMGFS folder to dump (yes you could have done it at the beginning^^) with HTCrie open the part04.bin from DFT you find in Data.zip, select IMGFS and extract IMGFS.bin
With ImgfsFromDump recompile the new IMGFS, the command line is: ImgfsFromDump imgfs.bin imgfs-out.bin
With HTCrie replace the IMGFS in part4.bin: select IMGFS, click on add files, choose imgfs-out.bin, it take only few seconds.
Replace part04.bin in Data.zip by the new one and flash it with DWI, you’ve got it!

To increase the speed, download Advanced Config Tool here: http://forum.touchxperience.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=890 and then in the "tweaks' section, check 'Don't dehydrate apps on pause' and UNckeck 'Enable Wi-Fi 802.11n Mode' or wifi won't work. (may or may not work, try not to fiddle with the settings too much )

I must admit most of it is too intimidating for me to even think of attempting. so I will, like I'm sure a lot of other users, will be waiting patiently for you to upload the ROM.
If I understand the last part right - All I would need to do to update my phone to NoDo is flash your updated ROM using DWI, isn't it?

Just installed now - only just got started and i don't have a code for sign in, so cant test live etc but so far looking good.
Says version is 7.0.7392.0.
Copy and paste is available and working..

It DOES appear to be unlocked - tried installing apps with toms XAP installer..
