Well: just nearly standard clean!
Only File Explorer Extension will be installed during AutoRun setup and some tweaks, too!
Flashed today morning, so far:
- very ugly dialer & Pin Screen
- missing Connection Setup (yes i know it's clean )
- very fast!!! until now the fastest Rom i think
more feedback will follow soon

Always get an Error 608 while switching to HTC USB Sync.

Hi,
first I had the same problem like you. But after trying this a second time with a different version and also installing the language file I managed to use hardware keyboard with german quertz layout. I guess I managed to go ahead with this version: BJK_HTC_EzInput_QVGA_CpKbd_0409_RC2.cab. My Nike has 20 keys keyboard.
Beside this I can agree that there is a sync-problem.
The mobile device center won't sync with my Nike, like already been mentioned. Looks like the phone is not recognized by the mobile center.
Any advice?

Actually not, but will try to fix it! I think I know what's the reason for! But I have to play with my new toy, the Touch Pro 2!

Just try to do one or more soft reset after installing the keybord. This way I could get the keyboard running at more then one installion of this Rom.
Tried it... no sync, no 3g/gprs connections...
Very fast.

I flashed the rom and get following messages for all the mentioned programs:

Hello again.
I could fix the not showing graphics during the PIN query by skipping the customizing process of the original T-Mobile ROM.
In addition I found out that old installed programs are still there, e.g. Total Commander. Other programs shipped with the original ROM are missing, but icon still there, e.g. "Sprachwahl" or "ClearVue PDF".
By the way, when I tried to flash the new rom the standard way by just using the batch file, the installation process failed. Because of this I copied the files "EnableRapi.cab", "Cert_SPCS.cab" & "ItsUtils.dll". Installed the cabs & moved the DLL to the windows drive. After this I could flash the ROM.
I had similar or same error messages with the "Diamond ROM" or the "Charmer TouchFLO WM6 German Version 3.2 - by Ridingshark ".

Hi.
The issue was the HARD RESET. Even I knew that I need to do it and press the needed buttons, I was not aware to keep pressing the buttons for ~ 2 seconds after I realeased the stylus.
Finally everything is working in a proper manner.

I've just flashed your ROM. It's absolutely amasing how fast the interface is on the Charmer. I assumed it'll be rather slow, but the UI reacts very direct. Nice job!

Hi All!
I plan to translate this great ROM into WWE with permission from cYBERdEL.
The very first version (made in about 4 hours with 95% of OS translation) is working well on my Charmer.
I also plan to release the kitchen and a short tutorial for users, who want to translate to their language.

ich habe heute die Rom Version 0.7 auf meinem Charmer installiert, jedoch tritt bei mir das Problem auf dass der Ok/X-Button nicht funktioniert... laut den Release-Notes sollte dieses Problem doch bereits behoben sein oder?
Finde dieses Rom wirklich spitze und freu mich schon darauf es zu verwenden! Allerdings solang dieses Problem existiert werd ich wohl weiter dein Diamond Rom benutzen müssen.... An dieser Stelle aufjedenfall vielen vielen Dank für deine Arbeit!!!

@AdrianJunker: Das Problem mit dem ok tritt bei mir nur ganz selten auf. Wenn ich das ändere, so dass es gar nicht auftritt, funktioniert die touch Funktion mit dem scrollen nicht mehr. Aus diesem Grund bleibt es vorerst so. Ich vermute mal das es spätestens mit der 6.5er Version gelöst wird. Also... standby
@AdrianJunker: The problem occurs with the ok to me only very rarely. If I change, so it did not occur, does the touch function to the scroll no more. For this reason it is so initially. I guess the times are 6.5er with the latest version is resolved. So ... standby

at first I have to point out I'm a big fan of your Charmer ROMs for a long time now.
Changed from diamond look WM6.1 GER ROM about two months ago to Manila 2D v0.5 and liked it even more the longer I used it, especially its smoothness.
Did not reconize any problem during this time frame e.g. OK/X-button worked very well.
Today I installed version 0.8 to give it a try, and here are my first impressions:
- I too have now the OK/X-button problem, and this constantly
- I liked the old standard keyboard more - you can see more of the remaining screen - so please include it at least as an option beside the new one
- pbar is back - nice - I missed it from the Diamond ROM
- OmapClock is a good addon, but (I think also in the Diamond ROM) there was a more powerful utility which could set frequency depending on CPU load (= reduced on low load), can't remember what it was ....
- in general I have the feeling that handling is a bit slower than in v0.5
Additional questions:
1) I'm wondering since first installation of v0.5 what the alarm clock is good for - why not using the standard alarm in the calender ?
2) I wanted to play around with new skins and therefore tried the Manila 2D customizer (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=425974), but it didn't work for me = froze when I changed something, after reset TouchFlo was not starting, needed a hard reset. Do you have any experience with it ? Or is your ROM so different from the standard Manila installation so that it's not usable.

Since there's no fully ported USBtoPC Popup for our Niki, the PPC with an inserted Storage Card can't be used as a Mass Storage device! The only way for that is using the modified WM5torage v1.8 or Softick Card Export v3.15 (which I prefer)!

Ich habe momentan das offizielle HTC ROM upgrade drauf, müßte also wohl erstmal ein früheres Radio flashen..
Ich weiß, es ist clean black. Aber ist ein connection setup dabei, will die Einstellungen nicht alle manuell vornehmen.

Its working on my radio 1.58.21.23
As djharty said, calculator doesnt work.
The large start menu settings says "aktivate" (german?).
The "configuration" startup message at first boot had a little german too.
I disabled biotouch but now I see 2 icons of it on the settings.
I disbled auto complete on the keyboard, but he still pops up.
Disk drive doesnt work on USBtoPC (as you mentioned on end of the first post*).
All minor bugs, thank you so much for the new rom... ^_^

If you are referring to Schap's advanced configuration its working on mine...
After installing NetFramework 3.5, M2D v0.21 and reseting, it started working.
I had the same problem with that software and NODATA, but after installing NetFramework 3.5 and a couple of restarts they do work...

You're right, that's the correct version! But I encountered some problems with it (Storage Card can't be used as Mass Storage device sometimes) so that I bought Softick CardExport II last Friday and I#m totally happy with it!

I don't know, have to search for it on my drives!
I had an issue with pocket Informant. Wasnt able to install. But your ROM was not the reason, very strange.

1. Advanced Config does not load. It gives error message.
2. How do you enable large start menu and the large title bar? I notice in all your ROMs it is off.
3. You 3G logo is the not so nice HTC default one. Will try to overwrite it with a nicer 3G logo .cab file and see

On GER Rom works without Problems
Which Rom do you use?
Maybe NetCF 3.5 is missing...
running the BDsV7 english version .. i guess NetCF souldn't be a problem is the GER version doesn't have the bug..might be cause i restored a spb backup .. or not .. anyway going back to v6 for the moment by the way .. congrats on v7, faster then ever

Can you please offer an alternate download option where i dont need to register to your board to get the ROM?
It sucks to offer a ROM here with links where first of all a Banner pops up and then i need to register to your board to get it.

I have problems with the EzInput 2.0 and the Hardware Keyboard. Thats the reason i haven't intigrate it to date.
The Programs Tab of Manila 2 have a Bug with the Softkeys.
So I will wait up to the final of Manila 2, so no more questions arise.
In my Next Version i will include your Youtube Player

I must say, that I appretiate every work in German ROMs. Unfortunately, my internet connection is rather slow, so that I cannot download your fascinating ROM at the moment.
But: I'm looking forward to downloading your ROM to my device in this evening because I am so heavily searching for new German ROMs.
I tried them all and S4DOS is quite good, but the slowness and instability let me switch to the old ROMEOS one. Unfortunately ROMEOS will not publish any German versions anymore and so it's you and your favorable work that keeps me smiling and loving my Raphael.
It was great if you could substitute and combine all the features of the great WWE versions in a German one.
I will let you know about my experience with this ROM.

Once again a very nice German rom, all the bugs have been fixed, as far as I know.
...But: I am not able to type big letters with the hardware keyboard, the display keyboard has to be openend to type big letters, which is kind of bad, I think.
You should try to fix that.
Buy anyway, tribute to your good work, weiter so!

I have tested last 1.2 and there was no BUG with Rescoexplorer, SBP_Wallet, Tracky, REscoBackup and SPB_Insigth very nice.
I like the Startscreen, it looks like a "real" OS

first, thanks for this great german rom. I just have one bug in the version 1.2.
When i go to the musik tab and then want to select Menü, it does not appear. So cant adjust musik setting in the audio booster. I cant find the audio booster anywhere.
So please help and continue to cook much more great roms like this.

Nice ROM without doubt but there seem to be some problems.
1. When i use the Keyboard i can't write everything i want. Not all Characters are supported as the Original ROM.
2. I can't save COntacts because it wants from me dd/mm/yyyy (Don't know why and i can't type anything)
3. We can decide whic Programs we want to use in the slide menu as Weather, SMS, Mail, etc. Can you insert maybe "Comm Manager" It will be very great because we could have directly connection to Wi Lan.

Das Rom sieht echt super aus. Ich überlege mir, ob ich mein Original-Rom nicht mit deinem überschreiben soll. Allerdings sagst du ja, dass du bald die deutschen MUIs für WM6.5 bekommst. Wann könntest du denn ein deutsches WM6.5 ROM herausbringen? Lohnt es sich, jetzt noch zu flashen, wenn ich eh nachher WM6.5 benutzen will?

Packed it with standard ZIP compression.
It depacks without problems or CRC errors if I download.
A perfect ROM. Thank you for that. Have not found error. Everything works fine. The speed of syncing with my hands-free has increased by a factor of 10. GPS fix, I now ALWAYS get under a minute. The fastest ROM I had before. And unlike other Customs, there are no errors

Ein perfektes ROM. Vielen Dank dafür. Hab keinen Fehler entdeckt. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Geschwindigkeit beim Synchronisieren mit meiner Freisprecheinrichtung hat sich um den Faktor 10 erhöht. GPS-Fix bekomme ich jetzt IMMER unter einer Minute. Das schnellste ROM das ich bisher hatte. Und anders als bei anderen Customs gibt es keine Fehler.

Version 0409 is the code for WWE ROM, 0407 code is German

Hi Astuermer,
First of all, thanks for a great ROM. I am using it for a day now. I was using the latest Stock ROM and I wanted to try something better, but I use my phone for work so I need something reliable. That is why I was looking for WM6.1 ROM.
I had a minor issue, when I tried to configure my HotMail account. But I did it using a more manual approach and it worked fine. I am attaching the screenshots just in case.
I searched for a way to thank you other than this post (Paypal, or anything), so let me know a better way.
I will be posting any findings while using the ROM. I have an ATT Fuze, so I will be experimenting with the PPT reassignment next (whenever net will be).
can this come in english as well??
