I have a question to advanced lolite users:
I have German ROM on my xda Guide (lolite).
Can I replace this rom by "HTC Iolite - 1.09.401.3 - WWE (Europe)" provided by udk without HardSPL?
Can I just connect my phone via Windows Mobile Device Center and run "RUU_Iolite_HTC_Europe_1.09.401.3_Radio_Sign_12.41.30.16_0.41.30.12_Ship.exe" ROM provided by udk without installing Hard SPL first?
Anyone tried this soulution?

roodiii: You should try by yourself. If it is not possible, you will get an error message in the beginning.

Hey Guys,
i rebuilt the german Rom using the NetrunnerAT Niki Kitchen mixed with Kaiser Rebuilt Kitchen. It flashes just the OS Part. No Bootloader and no Splashscreen.
It's Just for Backup Purposes
I initial flashing procedure with SSPL of jockyw2001 on phone side and CustomRUU from Niki Project Rom (I think it's this one) on PC side.
Baserom used was Niki Project Rom 1.0. I was able to get back from Niki Project Rom to the German Shipping Rom.
I recommend everybody, who want to try this rom to install HardSPL.
Everything you do is on your own risk.

just o2 branded ... xda star doesn't have a simlock ... but it's not stored in the os part anyway

I downloaded WM6.1 GER Niki netDrg BR but it does not work. There comes always error 262 (update error).
The actual version is:
ROM: 1.31.408.09 dated 30/10/07
RADIO: 1.58.16.27
PROTOCOL: 25.61.30.03H
EXTROM: 1.31.408.8601
Maybe you can help me further.

thks, but the same problem. On the phone's display it writes 0% and then the error comes. Phone is still ok but firmware does not match on this phone.

Read the Threads ... without HardSPL you cant Flash a Cocked Rom. If you are sure, you have a HTC Niki and not a HTC Neon??? If you dont know this ... read wiki!

I have a HTC with japanese language. and I wnat to upload a wwe rom.because the rom is japanese. I downloaded upgrading rom RUU_Hermes_QTEK_WWE_2.11.255.1_102_6275_1.38.00.10 _108_Ship.exe
but can not upload it, allways geting error [294], pls I need urgent to converet this device into wwe rom. any help just urgent need.

I played with it but now in bootloader mode SPL shows 1.11
I can not do hard-SPL too at all
You needed to do some reading about the softbank, these are a major problem to unlock and upgrade depending on what version you have. In all likelyhood you have bricked your Hermes.
Do some research to see but most people don't like to give advice on the softbanks as no one likes to be responsible for the death of another persons Hermes....
I already read all the forum but could not find any solution, many document and post read about softbank, but never could upload WWE rom
hope someone will explain a proper way..

Hi.
Generally you can flash with any herm100 rom. previously you must back up yours buttons driver and after flashed. just install or restore these drivers.
So you must look for Hermes ROM.
Just look for the WM 6.1 version you like. And look for the RRU Wrapper for the rom and install it.. Visit the link below, it may help..
