The new manila2D dont really work 100%.. cant send a sms from the messaging tab directly..
Showcase isnt very friendly as well..
A suggestion would be to keep at least the M2D from iolite? cos the themes dont work with M2D 2.0 as well.. :s

Im using this now and really like it actually, it works great for me. Only thing I did not like is that I didn't have CoPilot Live installed like before (added it myself now), and the Showcase is a pain in the %$^^, I prefer the old task switcher. Other than that it is great, thanks for all the work!

Hi,
I am using your last revision posted and am having an email issue, not sure if it is the firmware/software or my provider, Rogers Wireless.
It will randomly not connect to 3g (presumably Rogers problem), and will not update my email count on time (I have it set to 5 min, it sometimes takes up to an hour). This worked fine with my old firmwares. I have to manually switch to the email icon for it to update, and sometimes have to manually request an update. Anyone else having that issue?

serfer222, your rom have some problems in programs menu. Icons aligned weird, not by name by default. I have same problems with programs menu after cooking roms.
Btw, what you tweaked to increase ring volume? Iolite speaker is not so good as Polaris.

I had assumed it was built into this rom. I simply flashed the rom in the first link. To reproduce I do nothing, it just wont update my emails sporratically, and will either require a manual check, or I have to drag my finger over to the mail icon for it to check - it will not auto update mail. Other times it is fine and just terribly delayed.
I suspect some of the issues are with Rogers as they have been having problems with their data.
try this
1) open Programms -> ActiveSync
2) choose Menu -> Schedule
What settings do you have there?
If it says "manual" you should change these settings.

hmm never mind but is it fast? and responsive? and what apps are on it?
It looks great, but one think is a deal breaker for me.
Something in the latest SYS or XIP doesnt allow certain types of software on fullscreen, and since they only work on fullscreen they simply crash immediately.
Like swirly, igo6 (v8.3 works fine, though), tcmcp (core player work fine too), quake or hexen 2 (these last two only crash on fullscreen mode).
The 3d driver rom and the clean black v3 rom also have the same problem:

Other than that, I loved the new USB to PC system app, that allows me to use the pocket as a pen.
Or the new Connection setup, that even has my sub-operator settings.
The task manager on System Settings doesnt open, but thats a minor bug.

Also, a bootscreen and wallpaper with the dark dragon would look really cool also.
Its too bad abou that SYS or XIP bug, I really liked this rom...

Theres problably no easy fix for this...
The only roms that I had this problem (chronologically) was...
- the 3d driver rom
- the latest oficial htc rom (wm6.1)
- the clean black v3
- and this one...
So any other before the 3d driver worked fine.
But maybe this is the new way to go because of some system files, and i dont want to be the one holding back things...
If its a bug, it would be great that someone could fix it, I just dont really know what it is...

Clear Files isn't included in newer XIP/SYS anymore.
You can easy do an Hardreset by holding green&red Button and do an SoftReset

Actually I didnt tested it, but it did showed me the screen on the right:
I've been actually trying to make it work on Clean Black rom V1. but it doesnt work, even after showing that screen...
I tried:
- OpalUSBtoPC.2.2.18191228.0.cab
- MBarvian Opal USBtoPC.cab
- HTCUSBToPCPopUp_2_0_18172128_1.cab
They all install ok, but simply wont work, I can manually call the UsbToPc.exe from the Windows folder and that screen appears, but if I select disk drive, it does nothing.
I've also seen other ppl in this forum complaining that it doesnt work for them too... any thoughts?

I wonder if they have fixed the bug in the autolock. In 21198, slide to lock and unlock phone works, but not when a call comes through. THe buttons on screen becomes non responsive, and you cannot answer the call.

It's working good here, I didn't tried this on 21198, so I don't know if that was a build problem. Anyway, the good point is that it works now

tried on 21198, and found no problem with that. assume you will need to slide to the right either answer or reject button.

Use PIM backup to restore. If the ROM does not have it built in, you can install the programs directly yourself.

Amazing ! a fantastic ROM ; 28xxxx O/S is really sweet and this is a quick one...none of the usual lags that this build usually has.. Also been testing all day & not found a single bug - apart from the MS weather fast link having the wrong icon Windows live; sync; gps all work..

Found some lag in typing sms's.
Anyone else have this problem? I sms alot and typing speed is important.
Seems many of these latest WM builds have slow response keyboards.
I have disabled all 'vibrate' features but still lags occur.

i have 140+ storage left after installing some apps that i use with Rataplan 28205, still sometimes we don't need full version, because it makes our device full of unusefull apps. Do you use opera 9.5?it is outdated version, do you use office 2010?

No youngsien I really don't know how to do so.but by my little knowledge,u sud do that only with official rooms ant with cooked rooms,to keep ur device safe.

i downloaded your rom und would like to test it. i`m a german and would like to use a german text input method. Which cabs should i use? The ones from the insomnia-thread?

have try your ROM, here is some review:
1. the background image is too abstract, looks too complicated for me
2. Have SOD once this morning
3. The 3g dialer has bug, not working perfect, sometimes the number is not displayed, others is the search feature is not usable because i can't see the number
4. opera 9.5 is not good, opera 10 is out there and also ucweb is only 6.3 the ucweb 7 is out also
5. no office is good option
6. the default theme for wm 6.5 is not good, the scrollbar is too large, has replace it with livven themes
7. the softkey font is too large (even "Contacts" not showing full), so we can see what is write on the softkey, please make it smaller
8. ezinput 1.5 is good for hardware keypad, but the t9 is somewhat too complicated, benn using d_train 16 key (also ez 1.5 just with different button image) is better, almost start with ABC all the time except in sms (which is t9 by default) don't try to use ex1,5 default ABC, it will make hardware keyboard not working properly
9. it is slow on startup
10. don't know whats wrong, everytime i restart the device, always auto launch CommManager, so i have to close it everytime. this is annoying.
ok that's for now. will switch back to Rataplan 28205 or d_train insomnia for stable 3g dialer.

first of all thx for trying my rom...my rom was surprisingly honoured.I a amazed,that u could find only 10points to highlight as bugs.my dear friend there are 90 more,which got unnoticed from ur sharp eyes n brain.nevertheless I appreciate ur feedback.

1. sometimes 3g dialer smart dial is not working.
2. some times cannot open the contract list, and will always cannot open it.
3. UCWEB and opera cannot input anything. if i reinstall the ucweb, maybe it will miss
4. cannot used the HTC task manager, and the x buttom is not wok fine

I love the look of the images you have showing the screen, but when I install it on my neon 300 I'm not seeing the same thing. Is it because I'm on the Neon or do I need to change something? I am just getting a vertical scroll. No bugs.

Maybe because i install the chinese support and change the defaul settings.
The program miss is not be closed, it's just backto the backgrand. but because task manager cannot launch at the home page: click the top menu will pop the option choice bar, so cannot pop up the task manager bar....FT
In the WM6.5 is not need manager the program at home page??
I know i can launch the task manager like a program, but .....

do a hardreset.in settings go to home.chek windows default.this will disable m2d,and u will c the drop down task manager at the top right corner.plz revert back with ur feedback

What about the syntax for phone #
Well after going from swedish stock ROM to WWE ROM I have always woundered if its possible to change the "(xxx) xxx-xxxx" syntax for telephone number stred in the phone book to the scandinivian style from HTC ROM?

Thanks, I will try it, cause I'm having some bad luck with roms, my menu is horribly lagging .
This is a very stock ROM so it shouldn't be any lag
I really-really likes stock like ROM, especially when Manila included, keep in going Sir..

-Start menu is SUPER tiny. Is there a way to change it with a CAB or registry key?
-Dailer is still WinMo stock, a bit hard to use. Is there a way to add the Raphael one with a CAB?
-HTC YouTube app is no longer present as it was in last version. Is there a way to add that with a CAB?

Long time stalker, first time poster. I've flashed MANY roms since I found this place quite some time ago. And I must say that this ROM, flashed several days ago, has so far been the best fit for me and my needs.
