UPDATE:
I finally received my invisibleSHIELD the other day. Past by my local kiosk that does the professional install. After 1 hour give or take I went back to the store. Right away the store attendant told me it looked sharp and I had to agree with him. To my surprise it looked better than I thought. I purchased the full body protection and it pretty much wrap the entire body. The kit fits almost perfectly on every curve and holes. The mocha color has a glaze look to it like a coat of glaze you would apply on wood. He told me I shouldn't put it in my pocket or place it in any case for at least 24-48 hours, letting the process take place and reduce the lint and dust. During the first 24 hours, it did felt the rubbery feel to it. It felt awkward at first. However after my first 24 hours, that rubbery feel disappeared / less noticeable. Not sure if I got use to it or it takes a while for the product to settle. Now waiting for ProClip to release its device holder for the T-Mobile version.
Comparison: Screen Protector that came with my HTC Rhodium vs. invisibleSHIELD - no comparison. After couple of days with the stock, there were visible signs of scratches from my nail and stylus. invisibleSHIELD - none. The only thing that the stock has over the invisibleSHIELD is that it was more flush and didn't have any major gap. I can't complain.
Overall: I'm happy with it and I don't have to worry about it getting scratched or dent with the full body kit.

I would strongly advise not getting an invisibleshield. My friend bought one and its not really touch screen friendly. Its very squishy (for lack of a better description) and when using the stylus and or finger on the screen you finger/ stylus gets stuck, almost sticky like. The screen does not react to many of the screen taps or slides.
My friend hated it so much he had to replace it with a generic screen protector (but he kept the rest of the body on.)

Try the Bodyguardz, they're somewhat similar but they are much more responsive and easier to deal with, and you get 2 sets with each one-
http://www.bodyguardz.com/content/accessories/57---2007.htm

I'm waiting for bestskinsever.com to get it. I've been using them ever since I had my Blackberry Curve 8320 and I think they are the best. Works great and without any problems with touch screen devices, I have it on my iPod Touch.
As of right now I'm using the piece of crap one that came with the phone. Got a few scratches on it already, I mean as long as it keeps my screen safe then I don't care.

same here and i hate the one that came with it.

I tried an InvisibleShield on my TP2 last week. It went on easy enough with just a few bubbles that slowly dissipated over a few days, but it is definitely not touch screen friendly - using your stylus with it feels like dragging the stylus through treacle.
Luckily it came off easily enough too....

Try the Bodyguardz, they aren't as "grabby" as the InvisiShields-
http://www.bodyguardz.com
They also give you two sets with each box, nice if you mess up (like I seem to always do lol).

Anybody tried the Bodyguardz protector? I'm loathe to spend more money on something that looks practically the same...

Hello Scotty,
We plan to add a Skin for the T-mobile Touch Pro2 to our lineup in the future. At this time we don't have an exact availability date to offer. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Thank you for your interest. Please let us know if you have any other questions. We look forward to serving you in the future.

I'm waiting for bestskinsever as well. I just noticed last night that i have minor scuffs that you can't really see on my screen unless you look under a light. I tried to install the original screen protector & it just didn't want to go on.
Oh well.

Bodyguardz...... I have the screen protector and its great!!! "the one that came with it"? I looked at that for a second (us tmo) and it only looked like an template to me...lol

Did you guys buy the full protector or just the screen protector from bodyguardz? How's the full version? Does it fit well?

Hello, I found one that works well. It is from www.clearprotector.com I bought the entire phone protector and am very impressed. I did have to use a heat gun to shrink the edges a little on the battery cover, but that was because I did not align it very well As for the screen, it did feel a little on the sticky side for the first week, but as of now I cant hardly notice it and I personally dont feel that it had made the screen any less responsive. Overall a good investment vs. a beat up phone.

I have also tried the invisable shield. It is a great product...but not for touch screen devices. You have to oil the screen to get your fingers to slide, LOL. I took it all off except for the back cover protection and went back to the factory screen protector till one comes out that "FITS" and works with touch screens

He is saying the surface of the protector is much more "grabby" then the oem protector or protector's like Boxwave and Martin Fields. It is much harder to slide your finger with these types (body guardz, zagg, etc...)

I got news for you, Bestskinsever uses the same material as the zagg stuff.. I ordered a universal cut your own kit. Its just as sticky as Zagg (which I have also owned before)..
So sounds like body guardz is also the same material, yes?

Screen Protectors

I'll start this thread in the hope that there'll be some good news soon.
I got my Touch Cruise on Friday and the device is absolutely fantastic but there is one huge problem with it. Using it either with the bare screen or with the screen protector supplied in the box, the smudges that get onto the screen are a real issue. It's not a case of cleaning it every day when you get home, it really is a case of pulling out a perfectly clean device, flicking up the cube to fire up the calculator, doing 60 seconds of calculations and then putting it away and even after that the screen is covered with smudges to an extent that bugs me. The saving grace is that, if a good screen protector can help solve this problem, then it's easy to apply as an aftermarket solution.
Do other people see the issue to the extent I do? (And my hands are actually fairly dry, I often have issues getting through fingerprint recognition at US immigration because there isn't enough grease on my fingertips.)
I'm told that Brando are working on a protector and I just had a quick play with my old O2 XDA Orbit which has a good screen protector on it (not a Brando but one of their big competitors whose name I forget but is another make that people tend to recommend) and it seemed to me that it was picking up far less muck than my TC one so maybe Brando or someone can ride to the rescue on this one.

There is another thread about screen protectors here.
I use the supplied one without any problems different from any protector I have used. Just get the Veripart screen cleaner and clean your screen with it about once a week. looks like it leaves a coating on the screen. I am not sure about that, but my screen is shiny and nice
By the way, how can you get smuges from a non-greay finger

Ah. Thanks for that. I was trying to do the right thing by posting into the "Accessories" sub-forum so that is where I looked for a previous thread but I did just find the other thread in the main Polaris forum, funnily enough not by looking through the forums but because that thread is the second hit on Google when I did a global search for "veripart screen cleaner" as a result of your reply. I'll definitely try Veripart.
Re: "how can you get smuges from a non-greay finger", I guess they're not totally non-greasy, just less greasy than average .
I'll still get a new screen protector for my TC though because the one that came with my device seems to have a little bit of adhesive missing right down in the bottom left corner, luckily only on the bit that covers the screen surround but, because it won't stick down, it makes it look as if there is a water stain on the device. I also find that the factory screen protector does dull the sensitivity of the screen a bit.
- Julian
I have the same problem with the supplied screen protector.
I found out that Brando will come out with two types of screen proctectors of which on is anti-glare. That's the one I want to try.
Just ordered this one:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...em=160199157845&_trksid=p3984.cTODAY.m238.lVI
If you don't know German, look at the picture depicting the structure of the material. Seems to be nice - anti-fingerprint, anti-glare, etc. Will report here as soon as I get it. There is no picture of the protector but I strongly hope it will cover the whole surface and not just the display area.

It looks very interesting. I hope it works out for you. I'll look forward to hearing how it works.
I just experimented some more with my old (now dead) Artemis. Obviously with the device being dead all I can do is wipe my fingers and thumb around the screen with it switched off and then look at how marked it is. This is actually just fine though because the marks show up most when the device is off so the fact that the device doesn't power on isn't really an issue for these tests!
Anyway, I found the email confirmation for when I first placed the order and it was a Martin Fields Overlay Plus Screen Protector and my experiments above confirm in my mind that a good screen protector does make a huge difference as far as fingermarks are concerned, my old Artemis with the Martin Fields protector seems to pick up maybe 10% of the fingerprints compared to the in-the-box HTC protector on my Touch Cruise under about the same amount of finger dragging on each screen.

Brando is now selling the antiglare screen protectors. Emailed them and they said that they cover the whole face, not just the touch screen portion. You can get them here:

No, I'm not buying before I see it how it looks like. As I wrote above, I ordered one from eBay. It is 0.5mm more narrow than the screen area. But the worst is, there's not a hole in the surface for the secondary camera - there's a whole area cut out, like with scissors. Otherwise, the surface seems pretty diffuse. I haven't tried it yet, because if I remove and ruin my current protector and I don't like the new one, I won't have any
So I'm waiting for responses/pics from other protectors
Brando's version is unfortunately like the one ingenious got off of eBay - with the large cutout vs. individual holes. Can't imagine it would have been that hard to cut them properly I'd prefer Brando quality with HTC fit.

I bought one from Brando's for my Orbit 2.
Quality is top as usual.
But:
I think they do the large cutout to make them fit to both, the cruise and the orbit 2.
The result is: You can use them for both device, but they do fit perfect neither for the polaris nor for the orbit 2.
Especially with the orbit 2 there is a large gap at the top of the protected area.
So I have to say, I was used to get better quality from brando's
JueLue
Shame, shame... Hopefully they will make them better at some point. Now I don't want to put mine because I'm afraid that if I don't like it, I won't be able to put the original one again
as i said in the other post..
I ordered both versions of the regular screen protectors from DuraSec. (not the liquid one)
I will post some photos and comments when i get them.

Thanks. Look forward to your post as my standard protectors's already looking suspect.
I ordered the more expensive ("self-healing") protector from Durasec and found it had the same problem as the Brando anti-glare protector: it refracts the light coming from the touchscreen, giving the pixels a broken-up, rainbow effect. Not nice or useful.
Guess I'm going to buy some more HTC ones, even though I ended up crumpling the first one out of frustration (bubbles, dust, etc).

I've first put the one delivered by HTC with the Polaris. Except the fact that the sticker perfectly match with the Polaris Form, it need to be cleaned at least 50x per day..
I've finally buy a set of universal screen protector. Of course you've to cut it by yourself, but the quality is pretty excellent and the price is really competitive (5 pieces for a price less than for 1 brando).

Why the HTC ones rather than the Brando Ultraclear? The thing I hate about the HTC protector is that it is no better than a bare screen as far as fingerprints are concerned. There is a thread running in the main Polaris forum (although a request has been made to the moderators to move it here) where other people are confirming how awful the HTC protector is re fingerpriints and also that the Brando UltraClear, although not as good as the AntiGlare regarding resistance to fingerprints, is a definite improvement on the HTC protector.
I confess that I'm still using the HTC protector but that's because I put it on my device immediately and now it's on I'm waiting a bit to decide what to replace it with. I don't like the Brando cutout but I think if pushed now I'd probably buy one of each Brando and see if I could live with the optical distortions of the AntiGlare and, if not, then use the UltraClear.
- Julian
P.S. I share your frustration re fitting these things; one of my least favorite activities.
I didn't try the Brando 'ultraclear' one -- I guess because I used one of these on a PDA years ago and found it to be 'ultraglare'. If I were sitting anywhere near sunlight, the screen became a mirror.
I suppose in the time since that's just become normal, as screens like the Touch Cruise are very shiny.
Looking at the various posts I think I'll go with the Brando UltraClear...
10$ + 3$ shipping is not so expensive (let's hope it will not be trapped by customs, in France that's pretty expensive even for a 10$ order).
Anyone aware about a way to get them from a European reseller instead of ordering directly to Brando in HK?
Thanks
DuraSec protectors
Hello all....
as i promised earlier i would report back once i got my DuraSec protectors and let you know how they are.
i just got them last night, so i ripped my HTC OEM one off, and put the cheaper "ClearTec" one on. on first impression, it is a slight bit TOO thin, as it is quite hard to get on without flipping and flopping around. Which in the end causes many small bubbles.
After some fiddling, i have it on looking semi-OK, and it doesnt mess with the screen clarity, nor refract light in any strange way that i can tell.
i do have a feeling that it will not last very long... but then again they market it as a temp. protector.
i will get back when i use the "HighTec".....
This is a possible way to improve the standard HTC screen protector which I'm pretty happy with except for one big issue, it offers absolutely no additional resistance against getting fingerprints all over the screen when not using the stylus and this is a big frustration for me.
Recently I decided to clean my protector using regular window cleaner that you can buy in supermarkets (I'm in the UK so I used "Non smear Windolene for glass and shiny surfaces"). I now only bother to wipe down the screen with a cloth every few days rather than after every few minutes of use which is what I had to do before (and yes, I do wash my hands very regularly!).
It's probably partly due to the fact that I've got better at remembering to try to use the fingernail side of my fingers rather than my fingertips but I think that a large part of it is due to the cleaner leaving some sort of coating because even when I deliberately do a few swipes with my thumb, which before would have left marks after even a single swipe, it is now pretty clear.
I didn't spray the cleaner straight onto the device by the way, that just seemed too risky, so I sprayed it onto a paper kitchen towel and then used that to apply the cleaner onto the screen.
For me I think this has improved things sufficiently that I might well just stay with the supplied protector.
- Julian

Nice screen protectors.

Okay, so I was looking around for a new screen protector for my 8525. Tried a few of the generic "universal" type and they all sucked. Bad.
Then I went to Circuit City the other day, and as I was walking around thinking how stupid it is that so much effort must be put in to finding decent screen protectors given the large amount of large-screened phones out there, I stumbled across the Nintendo DS section.
Bingo.
Even though CC online says $7.99 for the two pack, they were only $4.99 at the store here. They even come with a really nice polishing cloth (similar in squishy-soft goodness to the type that come with a PSP or an iPhone).
These things are crystal clear, people. I used a plastic card rather than the little cardboard crap that came with them to apply them, and boy do they look nice. My wife couldn't even tell I HAD a screen protector on the phone when she first saw it. They have a nice thickness to them and work great with the stylus, too.

Just thought I would share my find with everyone.

Nice find. I'm way overdue on getting screen protectors on two 8525s. (The ones they came with are sheer crap - they leave a fair sized unprotected gap!) The link you posted didn't work. Is this what you bought? http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Peli...sem/rpsm/oid/152027/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

Don't know why that link didn't work, but you found the right one's. You do need to trim them with scissors to fit perfectly...they're a little too big right out of the box.
I took a Nintendo Ds Lite Screen Protector and Cut the right size out works GREAT!!!!
i use the claireview ones.
these dont la t very long. boxwave versions last much longer
+1 for the boxwave, I've been using the anti-glare one for a few months and it's great.
Is there any place that can show a visual difference with the screen protectors?
I use the invisibleshield...go to the website...it really is good!
It seems that the only way to get a full screen protector is to get one that is designed for a larger device and cut it down.
Just about every protector I've seen does not cover the entire screen, there is almost always a small strip of the screen that is not covered.
If this is not the case with some brands, I'd like to know which ones they are!
Invisibleshield - Best screen protectors ever!! Lifetime guarantee too. Plus, they're on sale for half price.
http://www.shieldzone.com/showspecial
I bought a bunch of different ones thru ebay and love this one that I got now it has lasted over a year and perfect. I have the 8925 Tilt and fits perfect search ebay for Professional Screen Guard on the bottom it says for dopod 838/9000/d600/p100/c800/c858 its the best ive ever had you even have to read the instructions on how to put it on because its three layers.
Put a Martin Fields on my Tilt & it works great. Stiff for good protection, but doesn't decrease screen sensitivity any.
I've got an Exim screen protector from Taiwan via PDA-now thru ebay and am pretty disappointed in the results, especially when it comes to bubble-free installation. It's pretty easily removed and cleaned, but I just could not install it w/o bubbles even though I tried several times. Also, the size was not perfect, and now most of my skinny scrollbar in portrait is unprotected.
I think I will try the G3 screen protector made for 8125:
https://secure.spincaster.com/pdasc...roductdetails.asp?ProductID=402&ProcessType=1
I've used one of these on my Sony Clie for ~6 years and mostly liked it. Pain to install though, but it lasts forever; it actually does not adhere at all, but gets tucked under the sides of the case (it's a little larger than the screen on all sides). So it's pretty much impossible to get bubbles.

Yeah, it can be tricky getting the size just right. I put a new one on a little while ago and got it almost perfect; the one before that had a gap on the bottom from not being cut properly.

Hello Harry,
Thank you for contacting ZAGG, where we are Zealous About Great Gadgets! My name is Stephen and I appreciate the opportunity to assist you.
We had a device in our office when we created the design last week. The reason why we only offer the front screen is because when we placed the invisibleSHIELD on the back, it peeled the paint. We are doing more testing on it, because the device we received was a dummy so we want to make sure with the actual device. We do not have a time frame of when we will have that testing done, because the device is expensive, it will take awhile to figure it out if it is necessary or not.
I do apologize for the inconvenience as it is not the answer you were hoping for. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us again.
Thank you for choosing ZAGG. We appreciate your business!

Cheers - I ordered the Clear Protector instead. Not a fan of Zagg IS.
I got a invisibleshield from zagg- hugely unimpressed. They are a nightmare to apply (literally hours), they *gain* air bubbles over time, the edge accumulates dust and dirt, and the adhesion clearly isnt that great- the top corner of mine has moved, crinkling that edge. Sure, nothing's going to get scratched but this is totally not worth it.
in its defense, it doesn't show smudges easily, which is nice. But thumbprints are just as bad as without the shield, making that more or less moot. I'm going to get a soft pouch instead and would reccomend the same to others.

Seconded, I got one for a friends LG Cookie not long ago and it was terrible, although it didn't take me long to put together it just didn't even seem like it was worth the money for what it did and made the phone feel too weird. Not too long after the edges started to peel, get a pouch.
Hi,

Warning! If you have a painted HTC Hero, the invisibleSHIELD could peel the paint

I own the white version of the Hero but I didn't know what they mean about "peel the paint"....
So I contacted them :
Question:
Hello,
Thanks for the reply but you don't answer my question. The fact is that there is a problem with the full coverage and the HTC Hero:
According to Zagg web site: "Warning! If you have a painted HTC Hero, the invisibleSHIELD could peel the paint"
So my question was more precise: will the painting be damaged by the full coverage on my htc hero (the white version)?
Best regards.

Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for contacting ZAGG, where we are Zealous About Great Gadgets! My name is Stephen and I appreciate the opportunity to assist you.
The warning is for those that customize or modify their HTC Hero with acrylic paint. The invisibleSHIELD will peel it, the warning does not state, it will peel the paint of the device. I hope that clears up any worries that you have, if you have any other concerns, feel free to contact us again.
Thank you for choosing ZAGG. We appreciate your business!
All the best,
Stephen

Well....I think it's a weird answer because I'd never heard about that kind of customization and because the warning only concern the hero
Anyone think (like me...) that it's not safe for the teflon (and not for the acrylic paint as supposed by zagg...), to use the full body coverage according to the warning ?
I applied the Zagg 'full cover' to my Hero last night, it was dead easy to apply, but I'm rather unimpressed with the design. They go to great lengths on the website to stress how the IS wraps around the device keeping it safe, but not on the Hero, the edges - the bits that are going to be the most susceptible to chipping and knocking - are left uncovered.
It hadn't occured to me before I applied it, but I hope the screen doesn't become too 'tacky' to glide a finger across, as that would rather defeat the object of a touchscreen!
Applied my clear protector last night (screen only, didn't apply the back film) and I must say I am impressed with the slickness of the material's texture - in comparison to the Zagg I.S. it is a lot smoother when sliding your finger/thumb across it. One thing though is that Zagg I.S. is cut a lot better than the Clear Protector but it's not too bad. If I was going to choose between the two, I'd definately go for Clear Protector.

what do you mean? The invisible shield doesnt provide a full coverage of the phone? I am still deciding between clear protector and invisible shield.
I also have a clear protector.
At first I wasnt too impressed. The cut on the screen is around 1mm too small along each edge, and a few mm short in length on the rear.
Althought after a few days it has grown on me and seems a part of the phone, phone has lost its smooth touch on rear case, but the protector is very protective!!! I tried a knofe on it as they do on youtube vids. And it really does do a great job, shame it doesnt protect the edges where it would be likely to get damaged when dropped.
Just received an email from Clear-Coat today, who manufacture a similar product, saying that they now have a version for the Hero:
http://www.clear-coat.com/product.php?productid=616&cat=51&page=1
While I was waiting for the InvisibleSHIELD to arrive, I managed to scratch quite noticeably to the right of the speaker outlet (i.e. the metal panel just above the screen). My fault, fair enough. However, I was a bit disappointed when I received the shield as this little metal panel around the speaker is the ONLY area that no protection was supplied for at all.
I figured that I was just going crazy - why leave such an obvious place unprotected? Looking back at zagg.com, it's actually reasonably clear from the picture of the Hero on their page so my fault for not researching properly.
Maybe the shield can't stick to the metal but it's a bit of a shame.... I also have an InvisibleSHIELD for my BlackBerry Bold and was quite impressed that in addition to the big chunks of shield for the larger areas like the back and screen, little bits of cover were supplied basically to make sure as much as possible of the whole body and frame is covered. It also seems a better fit than the Hero shield - adding to a previous comment, it's not quite as good a fit as I was hoping.
I also have the Zagg Invisble shield, but the metal parts are uncovered.
For me it is important to protect the whole phone. That's why I buy the full body. But they have left de metal parts uncovered! And that for $25

asus transformer prime screen protector with life time replacement... what?!

Hello all. I have been waiting for SGP to make the crystal screen protector for the prime. While browsing for accessories I came across this promising prospect. This screen protector is not made by SGP but it way be worth your consideration. This brand is advertised as Armor Suit. I am going to order mines now and will provide and update on its use.

Update 2-11-2012
I received mine yesterday at work. As soon as I got home I opened the package and applied the new screen protector. The instructions recommend keeping the tablet off for about 24 hours after application before use. I did miss one part of the instructions which says to wet both sides of the screen protector. Make sure you do this because it will help you remove the liquid and bubble better with the rubber card. It has been over 12 hours since the application and it is curing nicely. I still have about 10 tiny wet bubbles that I am hoping will dry out before I say that it is perfect. One thing I did notice when I removed by prime from its folio case is that I had a tiny scratch a quarter of an inch up above the Asus logo. I was very upset about that because I handle my tablet like a baby, unless somehow the scratch was caused my the inside material of the case. Anyways, the good thing about this screen protector is that now you can no longer see the scratch. If this continues to cure like I hope it does, I will order another one for my girlfriends prime. Did I mention that wifi and GPS performance also improved after the application ??? Lol jk. The screen did lose a little of its smooth glide when swiping with your finger but that should improve over time. Touch response has been the same otherwise. I will provide an update in a couple of days once it has cured some more. If any of you reading this have purchased and installed the product, please provided your experience. I would like to know if the quality is consistent.
***Important***
Just an FYI to those who use the keyboard dock and are considering installing this screen applicator, removing the prime in and out of the keyboard dock is extremely tight and is marking up the screen protector film where the dock and screen meet. I am going to contact the manufacturer about this to see if they are aware of this issue...

looking forward to your update! only problem i have with their listing on amazon is that i says its non sticky, but also says its self healing... i sell screen protectors in a sprint store. from my experience, the self healing ones tend to be the orange peels and rubbery (sticky) kind. but if im wrong, please let me know! interested in this!

Will do, I received my order confirmation last night. Standard shipping so maybe sometime next week I will have it.
Lifetime warranty means you'll ruin 5 of them just trying to install them! This is why right now I'm not wearing a condom on my Prime. If I can't get the perfect screen protector on there perfectly then I just won't do it at all. I'm fairly careful with the front and I may eat my words one day.
Mine should be here today thanks to prime shipping I will give my feedback on this protector later this afternoon
Ok abit of an update, just installed the protector first impressions are this
Install was the best ive done in about 10 protector installs over the years, protector comes off the backing with very little pull, enough solution that i was able to wet my fingers twice and soak the adhisive side and front side well enough that it only took one attemt to postion the protector to the screen and boom it was done after a little squgiing with the rubbery card they give you, i had 3 tiny bubbles that came out easily then 2 slightly smaller bubbles along the top rim that im just gonna have to wait out till tomorrow
So so far im enjoying it, havnt noticed any imperfections, cut outs were extremely accurate now to just wait
Edit: The feels exactly like the screen if not a bit smoother at the moment not sure if this will remain but its pretty slick at the moment

Sending a thanks your way for your update. Later this afternoon I still had a couple of bubbles that I was to impatient on waiting to see if they would dry out and disappear so I decided to apply some of the solution on top of the surface and opted to use a credit card to push out the remaining bubbles (I did not like using the included rubber applicator much.) One Important item that I did not realize until now is that getting the tablet to dock with this screen protector is really, really tight. This may be a deal breaker for some. I don't use the keyboard dock all the time but it looks like the constant swap will make the screen protector look a little beat up at the bottom...

If it's clear and not matt, hows the anti fingerprint part of it working out?
Sent from my CM7 Atrix 4G
It seems to resist printing fairly well, I'd say it really only has showed them with hard swipes of the finger such as maybe playing fruit ninja for abit but just normal presses it rarely leaves one

That's understandable. This is my first time using a wet screen protector. I wasn't concerned about damaging the prime because I have the accidental protection plan.
Do you have to pay for the replacements? I know most of these "lifetime replacement" types you have to pay $5-$10 just to get them to mail you a new one.
Bogus.

aww thanks dood! i totally forgot about the protection plan! did you go through squaretrade?
back on topic: went with an Acase matte anti glare, dry install. took literally over an hour to get it perfect, but i did it. wish it woulda been easier, but im just too shy of the wet installs...
I'm looking for a top quailty anti-glare screen protector. I mainly want the anti-fingerprint part of it, but I like the matte screen look too. I had a Acase one on there, but the anti-fingerprint wasn't that great. I really wish Realook would come out with one for the Prime, b/c their's are awesome (have it on my phone). Realook (http://www.realook.us/dales_html/) has almost a textured feel to it, which is beyond awesome for keeping finger prints off. I have a email into them now to see if they plan on making one for the Prime.
I'm also thinking about NuSheild too:

I can tell you the armor suit does very well reducing finger prints. Your fingers glide smoothly across the screen. Now this is something I am going to try my best to describe, when typing ( I use thumb keyboard) you sort of get what feels like a slight rubber bounce with each press, I actually like that. Obviously its going to feel different then just typing on the glass but for me it works.

Anyone have the ZAGG- InvisibleSHIELD?

So my 2 day old Note has a hairline scratch that is only visible with the screen off in the right light. I am told that if I get this screen protector it will more than likely hide the scratch, and obviously prevent new ones. I'm curious to hear if others have this and like it. I have never used a screen protector because I don't like the way they look and feel, but apparently this screen is very easily scratched, despite me only keeping it in my pocket by itself.

I had an invisibleShield on my Atrix and loved it. I also bought the ivs for the note and am sending it back tomorrow because it is for the European modle which means it has a button hole on the middle front. They don't make one for the ATT note yet but as soon as they do I am getting it.

Yes the Zagg or any Zagg type screen protector will make any light scratch invisible. I was the guy who posted about a scratch . Anyways my Zagg came in like a day after it happened, I put it on and I cant even see the scratch.

Yes it does and it kinda sucks, I always buy BSE skins (Best skins ever) but they only have the international version atm.
Have the Zagg Dry Invisi-Shield installed on mine, front and back protection, and both he dry and wet install shields leave little indented marks when you use the s-pen because they are soft. At first its barely noticeable but the little grooves build up over time. Just something to consider, depending on how much you use the s-pen.

I wish they would have just left the s pen off because I'm never going to use it. It should just be a smartphone, not even tablets come with stylist pens now days. Oh well, I'm still really enjoying the phone. Can't wait for ICS to come out and fix the stutter/non responsive bugs when flipping through home pages.
Check ebay. It's cheaper and free shipping.

I use my s-pen. A lot. Glad they don't base their product manufacturing decisions around your personal preferences. Indespensibe for fine- photo editing, PDF annotation, mobile signatures and the list goes on and on.

I went to Best Buy and and exchanged the phone for a new one because of the scratch and bought the InvisibleShield. I'm not crazy about the Orange Peel look, but it's better than the scratched screen look.
i have the shield on mine as well........after having the rocket for 5 months and not having a case nor a screen protector i had to get one for the notes awsome screen.
and the S-pen is Great. i use it for texting and everything. the write to text is pretty accurate and fast when you get used to it. my only gripe is that with the Zagg shield the pen does not flow quite as smoothly so it hickups here and there when not applying just the right amount of pressure.
I actually wish that it had the physical home button like the Intl version. I saw some neat tips and tricks -such as disable touch screen -which would be great for movies, etc -especially with children...
I went with the Rearth Ringbo screen cover. Cant comment since I ordered it this AM.

I was 1 click away from ordering that. I ended up with the SGP because I didn't know which was better. I haven't done screen protector shopping in a while. Is the Rearth better than
SGP?
I just learned after buying the Invisible Shield that even though they offer a lifetime "free" replacement, it costs $4 for them to ship it to you and you have to pay to ship it back. In what world is that free?
I bought the invisible sheild today from bestbuy. Not really liking how it feels "tacky" compared to the slick glass. Something to keep in mind when considering purchasing it.

I bought the Zagg tonight, installed it and thought I had it on perfect! Was all proud of myself. Went to go turn the screen on and all these rainbow colors and weird looking dots all over between the screen and shield! I was so pissed. I think I sprayed too much of their liquid on. I should have just paid Best Buy to install. What a waste of money. $22 down the drain.
bought some screen protectors on Amazon to get here Thursday and then 6x off of eBay. I don't care if I have to replace one a month. I'm not spending $20 anymore on one screen protector.
Zagg has also started making an HD version of there screen protector, this one does not give you the orange peel look like the old ones. Right now i think it is only for the Iphone but give it some time they will probity start making them all like that.
