hi everybody.
I bought a touch pro 2 t-mobile one week ago and I received it today (from USA to Chile in southamerica).
the seller said "the phone is in prestine condition, just like new". this is right, but only in the outside of the phone, inside is full of glue to fix the battery cover, sometimes the battery cover falls down
I can't find a battery cover in ebay.com, where can I found this accessory?

I'm totally understand you. I ordered a T-mo TP2 from US too. (I'm in Australia) But luckily the phone came in sealed box as seller promised. I think you should file a dispute againt the seller for the brokrn back cover, it seems to me that the back cover is broke by the seller right? Anyway, OEM or Original back cover for T-mob TP2 is darnn hard to find mate also its accessories too. But keep looking may be you'll be lucky some day!

yes the first owner (seller) broke the back cover.
I can't find it as accesorie as well.

nope.. closest thing is getting an extended battery which comes with a replacement cover ( as it'll bulge out %) )

I'm still looking for the battery and antenna cover of a cingular *8100* (dunno if any other provider has those wizards without camera)....
TauTau - try with Dopod? They make the same models.
(For the curious, the Cingular and Dopod Wizards are different in terms of faceplates/button layout from the Qtek/iMate/etc. ones)
seems they only have the dopod 838, which is the one with camera... they have nice phones there btw...

I just bought one because, as you guys said, $500 phone with a 10 cent battery cover...

Hello, I have a Qtek 9100 and unfortunately I dropped it and scratched the front of the casing up pretty bad. The phone is still in perfect condition and not even a scratch on the back or the screen. I am looking for the front housing. I do not have any scratches on the rear housing, keyboard, or even the battery cover. I have looked on Ebay and the only thing that I have found is for around $100 (US). I do not want to pay that much for something that I can conceivably drop again. So my question is; is there anyone out there that knows where I can get a front housing? I would even buy the total housing to use as a backup but I do not want to spend an arm and a leg for it. I would greatly appreciate any feedback anyone has.

The best way to get spare parts is HTC itself. I bought a battery-cover from htc-europe at a reasonable GBP 10 (or was it $ 10?). Just send them a message via the contact optio n on their website

Have you replaced the housing of an actual phone with the housing of a dummy phone. I would just like to be clear before i go out and buy one.
I suggested the same thing over at HoFo and someone replied that they are different. If it were me I'd drop in to a Tmo store to verify though.

found this site when i was looking for the entire facia for the 8125... they do have alot of other phone types listed too. the 8125 facia runs about $79.
Actually the dummy phones are all one solid piece of plastic, so unless you're going to try to cut the front piece off and superglue it, that won't work at all.

I called brightpoint in Germany for two battery covers.
They did send it by UPS without charging me anything.
If someone is interested in the phone number or email, just pm me
go to the htc web site. They have a phone number for ordering parts. I needed a batter door, and they sold me one for 12.00 plus 7.95 shipping. I had it in 4 days.

I read somewhere that sprint was supposed to give new (non refurbished) HTC pros for manufacture warranty exchanges. Does anyone know if Verizon is supposed to give you a new one (non refurbished)? I would read the warranty buy I cant seem to find my manual anymore.

yea im with alltel/verizon && mines had messed up and when I took back one of the associates said I was still under warranty I guess da manufactures warranty I was expecting a refurbished one because my friend had got one he's with U.S. Cellular but they sent me a brand NEW one with the box and all everything was wrapped in plastic and everything
all of Verizon's phones are replaced with CLNR's after the 30 day WFG. CLNR= Certified Like-New Replacement. Some are refurbished, some are new units. You will get a phone in a box (either white or brown box, may or may not be stamped CLNR). Just the phone. No battery, back cover, charger, manual or anything. Hope this info is helpful

I bought my TP at Alltel. Just last week, I had to replace it because the keyboard flaked out on me. They, "Verizon", sent me a Like New Certified "Alltel" branded phone. No battery and back plate. They did include a stylus. I'm glad it that it is still the Alltel model because the one from Verizon is ugly and cheap feeling.
Box the phone in was white. Package was brown.

Wow, there are parts of Canada that are rogers-free?
Anyway, if you use a silicone/or TPU cover (non-transparent), you can just place it over the broken cover and nobody will know other than you.
Otherwise, I'm sure you can order from ebay if you keep looking.

Search ebay. They are around $7.
The eBay one's aren't bad either, I bought a black one for my white X10 a few months ago, and it's still holding on strong.
cnn.cn is awesome, I have ordered a lot of parts there in the past with positive results.
had a nice one originally with a magnetic front but needed a case with a battery. got one of those but it didn't have a magnetic front cover.
any links to one that are decent and don't cost an arm and a leg (so not an official sony one?)

Found it on MobileFun website and I placed an order for it.. Gave 200€ for it BUT and yes it is a big BUT I advise you to STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ANY MOBILE FUN PURCHASE.
I ordered that cover and they never sent it... and I asked for a refund a month after buying it... and ONLY got my refund half year after I asked for it and they never replied to my email or if they did, it was always a different person and they never knew anything about my purchase. Anyway try searching in Mugen batteries because they have a cover with a 4500mAh battery included.
