After reboot the IPL version is : 2.21.0001 and the SPL is 2.21.olip
But in wizard service tool ,read CID block then showing phone is CID locked
any idea...ist really CID unlocked......confused,,,,

its unlocked now, maybe you are using a old version of wizard service tools before cid unlock exist.

I have tried a lot with different ROMs but ...i just wana weep .....i dono wat the hell is happening with all this....
some times wen the installation completes and everything looks fine as with Wizard_Love_2.26.10.2_WWE_Novii_CF2 it worked fine but when i checked the version of WM it says its same as before WM5. sometimes it completes the installation with e.g Xplore_1.1 but at the time of reboot it shoes bootloader screen (try color screen). then i re-install the original WM5 ROM and get my device back in action from that BRICKED HELL.
please help me out and tell me the right path to go on...
1- is it possible to upgrade this device to WM6?
2- if yes then what are the exact files and exact method to do all that?
3- I NEED IT URGENTLY.... I MEAN THE ANSWER.?

oh one thing more i have checked the CID lock the answer is:
SPL version is 2.26.0001
DOC chip is write-protected!!
Downgrade SPL to no higher than 1.06 and
repeat procedure.

i flashed it with many other roms but not ableto repair my G4 can anyone tell me how to solve my problem..

you have flashed it with a g3 spl and now you are screwed, your ipl is g4 your spl is g3 , thats not good. I doubt you can repair it yourself. I dont know of any remedy to this except sending back to the manufacturer

this problems comes form my stupid mistake....
but it happen due to spl 3.08 g3(s/w) flashing so may be there is some ways to repair if anyone know let me know..

are you still able to power on your device and get to bootloader to allow flashing? find a rom that contains g4 ipl and spl flash that, its worth a shot if you can stil flash.

any other ideas in how to repair this problem?
I just grab a Wizard 100 from a friend that was playing with a new ROM an now is in the RGB screen and the IPL is 2.21.001 SPL 2.28.001.
When it power on you can seen the Wizard Love screen and then it goes to the RGB screen again.
I tried to run the Wizard Love ROM again but it do the same.

Download and flash official stock rom to recover.

i've bought this device from somebody. There is already another rom installed.
But i like to install another one.
I've lookt already in allot of post but it's always for installing from a original rom.
Are their any special things i have to do?
I've been looking also for programs for vista. i've found some but i cant run them.
Now i've reinstalled xp. What programs do you recommend to me to instal a new rom. and what are the specifiek steps i have to pass.

Your phone is already 'HardSPL',there's no need to do any other procedure,just download any wm6 or wm6.1 latest custom built rom,hook up the phone with pc via usb cable and run the downloaded rom,it'll start to flash,let it complete 100%,the phone'll reboot and load the newer rom.
Don't ever flash any official,as your phone is HardSPL,it'll get Bricked,coz official roms contain IPL/SPL in them,ok

My phone is dead.... The sim is locked (invalid SIM) and there is no sound also....
When I plug my new charger there is no orange light, the light is RED and the device refuse to start....
I need to start my device first then plug the charger but no light is showing while charging...
The orange light is gone...
Please let me know if this is a hardware problem or I just need to flash new ROM....

The battery is completely dead or has seen its days.
If its dead,it can only be charged with a wall charger which can give an output of 1 amp,or you can try the 'Jump Start' trick, but if its gonner,get a new battery.
