Hey guys, I didn't know anything about making a ROM backup for my iolite be4 toying with it so I beg that someone directs me or even uploads the original rom of portuguese iolite
In case there's a problem with the device i'm screwed cuz I can't replace the rom I have with the original. Please help me.

I've just uploaded the PTG (Portuguese) ROM that came with my device.
The instructions I followed can be found in the Wiki: How to dump ROM.
Check the Wiki page for available Dumped ROM's and more information about the ROM.

It is NOT POSSIBLE to flash or replace the ROM on your device with a dumped rom. At the moment there is no portuguese ROM available.

Same thing here, I have a htc tytn with the portuguese rom (bought to TMN)! And I have some problems in my wireless connection when I connect to a wireless network that requires a certificate! ...... without the portuguese rom we are stuck.. because If anything goes wrong in the upgrade process we don't have any manner to downgrade to the original rom.. and by the way we loose the guarantee..
I am desperately looking for a shipped spanish ROM for HERMES.
Seams that this ROM is not yet available.
So, I ask to anyone who likes to help to put the OS part of the spanish dumped ROM existing in FTP ready to flash in my device. Is that possible?

There is a spanish WM6 rom from micorX, I tested it and works fine, but I went back as I prefere to have an english OS.

Could it be the radio rom that is preventing my gene to access my phone operator? cause the name of the rom says:
RUU_Gene_hTC_Asia_India_1.17.720.1_4.1.13.34_02.79 .90_Ship
So its radio rom version 02.79.90 right? for asia and india?
I think i just need a new radio rom that will work in europe (portugal) or an original rom that contains a radio rom.
So if anyone has any, can please share it here? or anyone that could kindly dump an original rom?

My HTC recently came back from it's 3rd repair (it has a new MB), I had a surprise waiting inside it - a 512MB card with some firmwares on it
Here they are:

Since you are in a HTC T4242 forum, if it is not stated otherwise, you can be sure than what you find is for the official phone.
Again, the official T4242 and the clones do not share many things, except their look. Their hardware have nothing in common, so don't ask for support on the official devices' forum, we can't do anything for you.

I've Dumped this ROM from my new HTC Touch PRO - Vodafone Locked and Portuguese ROM version.
I've tryed to prepare the all ROM for everyone but unfortunately i can't make it because is the first time i'm doing this and something goes wrong in ROM creation but the ROM DUMP goes fine and now i leave this for someone that can complete the task
Hope this will be very useful for all, specially for Portuguese People.
