Failure flashing latest WM6.5 - help required - Touch Cruise 2 ROM Development

Hi All - I am a nooby so please can you advise me on process, as I don't want to brick my HTC Touch Cruise 2
I got the latest English WM6.5 ROM from Billabong, and am trying to flash over USB. (note: I dumped my original ROM using pdocread earlier).
Device is on USB, ActiveSync
When CustomRUU is run, phone goes into 3 stripe screen, then hear a beep as windows plug and play drops the connect, then:
3 stripe screen shows 'USB" at bottom, and windows beeps again showing USB plug and play back up.
Both RUU and the phone then show the status bar at 0% for 5 minutes plus....but it never progressed, stays stuck on 0%
Then RUU says the "ROM update utility has encountered communications errors" and advises on the recovery...which works fine, I can boot to my original firmware (6.1) which means no update took place.
What am I doing wrong? I have seen stuff about HardSPL which needs to be run first? What is that, and must I really do that?
If I can't update over USB, I saw there are methods via SD? Can someone advise on that process. Preferably without bricking the phone!

Hi, see the sticky thread under ROM Dev -> HARD-SPL
you need to install HARD-SPL before your can run RUU to flash.

OK - many thanks for the quick response...I'll give it a go

Bricked Mogul?

I think my Mogul is bricked after trying the ROM update; after about 7% update Vista kicked off the USB connection and I'm left with a tri-color screen. When I try to reinstall the ROM I get an Error 328 message - Invalid Command. Any help? Thanks!
Definitely not bricked if you can get to the tricolor screen.. which rom exactly were you flashing and what have you flashed so far (unlocker, etc)?
Have you tried updating from the microsd card? That solved a similar problem for me.

What steps have you taken so far? That might help others figure out your problem(I would help but I'm leaving my computer right now)
Just tried to re-cradle and reinstall the update - ROM 3.35.651.2 from HTC's website, and I get the message Invalid Command and it stops the update. Can I run this from the MicroSD card as suggested? Any help very much appreciated!
I have no access to anything on the phone BTW - just the screen and nothing else. The screen has four horizontal stripes - Red, Green, Blue and White. In the red stripe it says TITA100 MFG, SPL-2.03.1000, CPLD-9, and at the top of the screen RUUNBH....
Run Olipros 2.40 bootloader. Than, go back and flash the 3.35. I'm pretty sure you need the 2.40 to load the new ROMs. Yes, just run Olipro's 2.40 while you are in the tri-color screen. Also, make sure you have more than 50% battery life left.
Where do I get the bootloader and how do I run it? Sorry to sound dense, but this is new to me. I have the concept of running the bootload mode - Camera, Power, Reset, so I assume some software needs to be loaded on the MicroSD card? Thanks!
You know, it's fine if you're new to this....everyone starts somewhere...and it's good to see new faces in the community...
But what I don't get is why people insist on just flashing right away without reading and researching. Then they make posts about thinking their phone is bricked, not even knowing what a bootloader is.
My advice before you do anything else is to take an hour and read. Read about how to flash, read about bootloaders, read everything you can find about updating your phone. Then, try and fix your bootloader.
Your phone isn't bricked. A brick is just that, a brick. NOTHING works, not the bootloader, not the buttons, nothing.

Actually, although I'm new to this forum I'm not new to computers. I'm not as familiar with the inner workings of a handheld. I assume a bootloader is the software necessary to run the ROM flash from the SD card; when I run in bootloader mode, I do get a very brief "image not found", so I assume it's looking for the ROM image on the card. And I'm tracking down Olipros stuff right now through the forums, as well as the recommended reading. With a little written direction I think I can "unbrick" this phone. I did successfully flash another Mogul from a different computer, so assumed it would be as smooth; guess not. For those with the expertise, I certainly appreciate the advice and patience to teach a novice...
Once you find the required bootloader program, just run it as if you are flashing a ROM. Once you get "Olipro 2.40" on your tri-color screen, you'll know that your getting somewhere. But yes search and search and read. I also downloaded everything I think I would need also, just in case.
OK - so far 've tried running the Olipro Bootloader 2.40, but I get "device not connected." Perhaps I should mention I'm running Vista Home Premium, so no ActiveSynch; my PC has Mobile Device Center. I hear the little chime when I connect the Mogul, but the Olipro software doesn't recognize a connection....
I have done all of my flashes on my Vista Home Premium laptop. Make sure you uncheck "allow USB connection" on WMDC. Also, after every failed attempt, take the battery out of your phone for 3 seconds and then reinstall.
Did you mean check "allow USB connections"? WMDC is attempting to connect, but always fails. I was assuming because it doesn't recognize the PDA...
no he meant uncheck....READ!!
start here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=9927
Thanks; I have an XP machine I'll try; jacking with the WMDC drivers in Vista would take more time than its worth...
Actually Vista should automatically find and install the required drivers for you. It shouldn't take long. It's well worth the time considering what you are getting yourself into.
First, thanks for the assistance all. Status to date: I have connected to my XP machine and still can't connect the Mogul to ActiveSynch. ActiveSynch won't recognize the device in its current state. I've tried running the bootloader program both with the "USB Connection" option in ActiveSynch on and off; when I run the bootloader I get a popup window that says "No device connected", and a query "Would you like to try copying again?" with button options "Yes", "No" or "Cancel." Clicking "Yes" gives me the same popup. Clicking "No" lets the loader proceed, but has no effect on the Mogul except ultimately it brings up a screen showing the percentage complete which remains at 0, and on the PC it brings up the Recovery screens for the ROM update, which have no effect on the Mogul because I assume no connection has been made. I'm obviously misinterpreting some of the steps?
Any way to run the loader from the MicroSD card? I think someone mentioned it before?
Sounds like you still didnt get Olipro 2.40 into your machine, right?
When you boot it (press camera+power+soft reset) which bootloader do you get showing?
If its 1.06 or something like that you need to flash a (manufacturer) stock rom.
If its 1.20 Olipro then you need to flash a customized pre-3.16 rom. (if you need one pm me and I will give you a link to a clean one for your carrier)
Either way you need to get the rom file called xxxx.nbh. Rename it to TITAIMG.nbh. Place that file into the root of a FAT32 formatted sd card. Inster it into your sd card slot and power down and power up the titan. It will automagically read the rom from the card and flash it for you. Same goes for radio nbh files

HTC HD2 Flashed Rom, Stuch on Htc Boot Screen

ITS A HTC HD2 NOT THE ORIGINAL
Ok I am a really big noob and need some help. I Flashed My rom using Miri_HD2_WM65_21893_Sense25_V6.0.rar, I extracted in and it completed 100% and loaded up perfectly to home screen. I didnt have my sim card in or Sd card so I took battery out and put my sim card and sd card back in. When I turned it back on it was stuck on the HTC screen. Just the Green HTC writing and white screen and thats it. I have read some forums that have had the same problem but i just dont get it. they say get into bootloader ( which i can do) and then flash with radio or something... I am uncertain how to do this. When I downloaded one of them Customruu or whatever it is and open it it says I have to connect through active sync which i cant do because I cant get my device to turn On... I really need some help but it needs to be explain to me like explaining to a handicap person.
thanks
Put into bootloader, not necessary to connect to Activesync as you can't in bootloader mode. Flash the radio the same way as you flashed the rom. put the radio.nbh file in a folder, rename it to RUU_Signed.nbh and copy a CustomRUU.exe in and flash.
You'll find radios and steps here.

hi had same thing myself just rename ruu_sined.nbh to leoing.nbh
1. Make sure your microSD is Formatted to fat32 (you dont have to delete all files but it is safer if you do)
2. Download your prefered Rom from the LEO Rom Develpoment Page and unzip/unrar it to your PC
3. Goto the Roms Folder and rename the .nbh file to LEOIMG.nbh
4. Copy the LEOIMG.nbh file to the root of your MicroSD Card
5. Plug the MicroSD Card into the phone
6. Reset the device while pressing the volume down button to enter the BootLoader screen, you will first see a tri-color screen with the phone and SPL Information at the top
7. Follow the On Screen instructions to start the update
8. After flash has completed, press the reset button with the stylus to reset the device.
where do I get the Customruu.exe from? What do you mean flash the radio same as the rom? how can i do that if i cant get connect to active sync? So does that mean I have to download Miri_HD2_WM65_21893_Sense25_V6.0.rar again? which radio file do I choose? I am so confused. Dont get annoyed its just i dont understand all this...
do NOT do it via SD card - flash the radio using activesync as mentioned in first reply. SD card is dodgy as hell and the quickest way to brick your phone for good
You can get CustomRRU from any ROM file - use the one from Miri's ROM
might've been worth reading the n00b flashing thread first as well as well as the first thread of Miri's ROM as all the info is on there...
how come you can't use activesync? what version of Windows you using?
in future i suggest you read the relevent threads and make sure you can flash a stock ROM before jumping into cooked ROMs...don't wanna brick an expensive phone do you?!?!

It just sounds like you've got the wrong radio on your device...
Turn off your phone, and turn it back on holding down just the down button. It will go into the bootloader screen (red green and blue one). You can then connect it to your PC and it should say 'USB' at the bottom instead of serial.
You can then run CustomRRU (found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=575524) with the radio file from this link:
http://megaupload.com/?d=HT7ZMDGH
and it should allow you to flash the radio and work...(put both the CustomRRU app and radio file in the same folder)

I am using a HTC LEO (HD2) with EnergyROM installed in it. Now I was tryin to flash updated version (11th march update), But I am having trouble with Activesync which somehows is from last few weeks. It connects & syncs the device too once USB is plugged in, But disconnects when I try to flash a rom using customRUU..It gets disconnected on the bootloader screen & activesync status turns to Disconnected from Connected..I pull out my battery & restart the device again. This is highly irritating & I wish if there's some other program instead of Activesync that could be used to flash a rom.
I tried doing it with bootloader screen, Turning the device off, then turning it on while pressing down the volume button, It sure goes into bootloader screen, but shows Serial at the bottom & not USB..So any ideas for what could be the alternative for people who face the same problem with activesync, Instead of wasting time to rectify this error, Its better to find some other alternative. My PC is running Windows XP 32 bit, I re-installed my windows when i had trouble almost a month back & activesync worked fine then, But just can't afford to do it every other week or so

It's not possible to connect to Activesync while being in the bootloader mode (The hd2 says "USB" on Windows without activesync too), so it has nothing to do with Active sync. Try another USB-Cable or use the sdcard to flash (see amma2005's Post, but as far as I know, there is no need to format the card again).

Hi. New here. Done this magldr 1.12 and leo70 rom but my phone playing up badly after a lot of droid and 6 and other flashes. I can't install hardly any rom any more without it - ie: stock, wm6, android, wp7 rebooting constantly for no reason etc.
Done mtty and have bad blocks - about 16 and 16 reversed. done task 28 and task 28 55aa, and task 29 as read in other threads. tried everything with different radios, different nand droid. multiple wp7-hd2 installs. but still reboots.
Any thoughts? If go back to stock+spl1.66 and send back under warranty anyone know/think if they will fix it and/or replace it? they still have old sealed replacement hd2 stock or boards much? do they do diagnostics and look at bad blocks properly on warranty return? Even on stock-rom and stock-spl still does this reboot although not as much. Worried that stock-rom wm6 will "work" too well and they won't check blocks. What about task2a? etc? Any way to install wp7/magldr and partition right so no bad blocks counted in?
Thanks very much.
Will pay for fix that works - $.

Any thoughts here? What is warranty process? DO they replace at all with NEW? or new BOARDS/RAM? Gone back to 1.66 spl and sent in for repairs. because - the stupid recommended Romupdateutility HTC stock rom 'upgrade' did this damage.
and yes, was Windows Phone 7 and activated with marketplace & xbox/live.

Did you check the battery pins ? Sometimes they do get bent out of alignment and simply pushing them back into place gently does the trick.

Thanks for info but help still needed!

The problem I have is that my HD2 used to last for about 48hrs, but after playing around with it as we do with roms! the battery life suddenly drained in hours.
Battery used to last about 48 hrs with a charge time of less than 2 hrs. It then started to last 8hrs with a 4hr charge time, now it lasts 6hrs.
This is with all apps turned off no data connection, only sending txt and quick calls during the day. 100% power at night and it will be dead by the morning!
I have removed all programs and gone back to UK t mobile 1.72 rom, with same results.
I phoned T mobile and they have been kind enough to send me another free battery to solve the problem but to no avail!!!!
I am now going to send it back to get repaired, however HSPL is installed and it is being a proper pain to remove. I have done searches and watched the utube clips, so please dont say use search, as I have done for 2 days now!!
My HD2 will not enter bootloader by the buttons, I HAVE to use the bootloader cab file and install it and do it that way. Next problem is when it asks me to press the power button to start update image, it does not respond to the power button or the down button to cancel! (have to pull battery of to restart)
I have tried lots of renamed ruu_signed files (uk t mobile and htc) on a FAT32 formatted SD card, same problem.
details are as follows
OS version 5.2.21889 (21889.5.0.87)
Manila version 2.5.20121429.0
ROM version 1.72.110.4 (86525) WWE
ROM date 04/02/10
Radio version 2.07.51.22_2
Protocol version 15.32.50.07U
Really need to get rid of HSPL so it can get repaired!!
Any ideas to this strange problem? Anyone experienced this aswell?
Thanks in Advance
AJ
run hspl2 and choose 1.66.0000
hspl gone.
Thanks for the quick reply!
I downloaded and tried to install HSPL2 from the search results.
I follow the on screen instructions, as it waits for a USB connection I get an critical error box appear on the laptop.
Flow: 00000001
Error code: 00000002
Description: USB Connect failed!
Freezes on the bootloader screen.
I have tried all 3 USB ports on the laptop and another USB cable to no joy!
Has my phone got gremlins crawling inside it or what!
Any help to save my sanity will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
AJ
normally i would say enter bootloader manually then run hspl but you cant, so, let it fail, then exit hspl, leave teh phone in bootloader, and run it again. You can try over and over, different ports, whatever, no need to re start the phone each time, just leave it in bootloader and connect the usb cable.
As always, the following applies,
1 - right click hspl.exe and choose run as administrator
2 - dont use front mounted usb ports, or ports through hubs, DO use a port around back of the pc (i.e one connected to teh motherboard) EDIT - oh its a laptop, could be problematic, find a friend with a real computer.
Just cos a port works for active sync doesnt mean it will work for hspl, so keep trying ports.
If all else fails use a different pc.
Cancel last, it just worked!!!
Thanks very much for your help.
One question though, now that the spl is 1.66 and the original was 1.42, can they tell that the phone has been tampered with?

you said you upgraded teh rom to 1.72, , well if you hadnt had hspl installed it would have upgraded the spl to 1.66.0000, which is why i said go for that one.

HD2 Bricked Unable to Flash

I got a friends hd2 several days ago and it was stuck on the White splash screen and wouldn't go further.
I tried Hard reset with keys and it didn't helped to get past that screen.
So i decided to flash a new ROM.
First I installed 1.42.HSPL on it to make myself safe and tried to install WWE version but failed at 9 %.
After this i tried near all the steps from another thread on the forum, the one of italian guy who tried almost everything.
Strange thing is that after trying several roms and failing all the times at 9 %, the phone once booted into windows, and i got this information from it:
Radio 2.05.51.05_2
G 15.28.50.07U
Rom 1.48.406.1 (71294) FRE
But after powering it off it didn't boot up another time.
Also there was a small damage on one of the battery pins but I think i managed to get it soldered from outside with soldering iron.
I also tried with MTTY and it didn't work either.
I got the official rom 1.48.406.1 FRE (because this phone is from swiss operator in french language) but it doesn't flash it goes to 9 % and gives error 290.
Ok, i started the thread because I actually wante to ask the question, why i'm unable to get into the Flash process from SD Card.
I formatted SD and copied the LEOIMG.nbh from official ROM and other ROM's too but when i press Reset and hold volume Down key sometimes nothing happens screen is black, sometimes im going into Bootloader with Serial shown and this text:
"Upgrade ROM code error. Please try again" and in the top right corner its written RUUNBH.
Anyone has any idea what could be problem of this device?
Btw I own LEO too and i never faced any problem till now, it was originally in German Language and i flashed it to WWE and didn't get any problems like this one.

Not sure if this is the problem, but what size is your SD card? I've heard, that sometimes is impossible to flash from larger cards, safest way is to use cards up to 2GB...

Actually the sd is original 2gb that comes with hd2.
Friend, try to flash hspl 2.08 !!
Most likely that is the problem.
Enter the bootloader and connect it via usb to your usb and install 2.08 hspl (search fo it on xda developer forum)
Before instaling it read the instruction so that you know that hspl 2.08 can be installed over the old version of hspl that you installed!!
Oh and update radio to atleast 2.07
2.14 is very good
PS
Did you perform task29 before flashing?

I guess I should try to install 2.08 HSPL, do you think i can use the same HSPL installer and just install 2.08 hspl from it? Because i already tried 1.66.HSPL but didn't worked.
And yes i performed task29 two or three times it finishes with some known output message which is stated on the original MTTY thread to be ignored.
Any other ideas?

you have to flash the HSPL back to 1.42 0000 ,then update the HSPL to 2.08 HSPL directly. if you flash it from 1.66. it can not work..pls be noted. good luck to you .hope you leo can be used again.

Ok I installed 2.08.HSPL from 1.42.HSPL and it went successfully, now i see 2.08.HSPL on bootloader but it still fails to update ROM. Stops at 8 % on the phone with rectangle mark, and on the pc it stops at 9 %.
I get Error 290 - Unknown Command
But why i cant go into sd card flash screen when i press reset and volume down ?
I just used another 2 gb microSD and added LEOIMG.nbh from official FRE ROM and it doesnt work.
Hey bud,
I was having the same problem: the flashing didn't want to start by doing a reset+vol.down. I somehow got around this by putting the leoimg.nbh on my mircoSD card, and then started the flashing from my computer by running the .exe that contains the RUU (for ActiveSync flashing). This "magically" triggered the flashing from the mircoSD card (it showed me a screen whether i wanted to update leoimg.nbh). On this screen, pressing vol.down would start the flashing through ActiveSync, and pressing the power button would start the flashing from leoimg.nbh from your microSD card. In the last case, the update on your computer will stall at 0%, this is just because you're not running the update from your computer, but from your phone. On your computer it will time-out, but the update on your phone will continue!
I hope this works! But you're doing this on your own responsibility ;p

Hmmm this kinda messed me up.
What EXE file you run on the pc so it triggered update from SD ?
Because it's upossible to connect with activesync and browse to sd without the phone being fully operational (winmo running).
So i would say maby you just got it somehow with key kombination, because it would be impossible to run it the way you say. Or maby i'm wrong.
Could you be more specific about how you exactly run that process?
Thanks for your kind help. Gjizaqin
Well, whatever ROM you want to flash,
when you download this ROM, the .nbh file is packed in a .exe file.
You transfer the .nbh file to your microSD (rename to leoimg.nbh), and you can run the .exe file to flash through ActiveSync.

For me it was possible: reset your phone with the volume button down, to get to the tri-color screen. It shows "serial" on it. When you then connect your phone using your USB cable, it should switch to "USB", after which you can run the ActiveSync flashing.

Whell, by doing this procedure your doing normal ROM Update, and it's not doing update from sd card.
Anyways i tried this way too but not successful, its stuck on 8 % and stay's that way for about 3 minutes, than it gives me error 362 on the loader.
Anyways thanks for your help mate.
Anyone with experience can give me advice what to do with this phone?
Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem, tried all sorts with no luck. Can't get SD card install to work either.
Oh this sounds fun, I can no longer run active syn with my leo, the computer reports that my "usb device is not functioning properly"
I have re downloaded sync, try as I might I cant it back up and running, I wish everyone else the best of luck
This might be just a little bit off topic, but does anybody know how it is possible that some SD cards are good for flashing ROM's and other (mostly the larger) aren't?
Do you also need to copy the folder "program files" from the SD card you've flashed the ROM with to the other SD card, when you'd like to use this for your device?

There has been reported problems with some 16GBmSD cards when it comes to flashing from them.
The only thing you need on the mSD card is the LEOIMG.nbh file.

If you boot up your phone to Bootloader mode (but not connected to the computer), the bottom of the screen reads 'Serial'. If you now plug it into the computer, does it change to 'USB'?
Your computer error message is just saying that the computer cannot install a driver to communicate properly with your phone. Since your phone isn't fully loaded into WinMo then your computer isn't going to recognise it as a WinMo device. So don't worry about that message.

[Q] URGENT HELP NEEDED! Stuck on Red, Green, Blue and White screen

Hello everyone, I just join here tonight after finding this site through google. I have been reading hours through the threads. Very interesting reading however I still could not find a solution for my problem.
I did a factory reset on my HD2 and now all that happens when I start the phone is a red, green, blue and white screen. It does not load to the windows mobile screen anymore.
On the red part of the screen it says:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-1.42.0000 XE
MicroP (LED) 0X05
MicroP (TOUCH) 0X40
The green and blue stripes have no text on them but the white stripe has "serial" on it.
I am confused why this had happened, any help to fix this problem will be much appreciated. Thank you.
Hello sir, and welcome on XDA.
- Try this take out your battery
- revert beck your battery without restarting your device
- hold volume down and volume UP press in follow by a short press on the power button.
- you will see your 4color screen shortly and then a grey screen with blue text.
- Press volume up to restore your device.
Try this and let us know.
Hi Kurt Willems, thanks for the reply however this method did not resolve the problem. Still the red, green, blue and white screen appears.

Did it get stuck somewhere ore did you saw all the posses like I mention but after the restart you cam's automatically back into the 4 color screen?
Do you recall what your original rom was? If you plug your device into usb port on pc, does serial change to usb? If so, I suggest reinstalling your original rom.
Yes I followed your instruction exactly, still the same striped screen.

Well like ClydeB1 mentioned, get YOUR stock ROM, connect your device to your pc and reinstall the stock ROM (At least if your device will connect)
"Do you recall what your original rom was? If you plug your device into usb port on pc, does serial change to usb? If so, I suggest reinstalling your original rom."
Hi ClydeB1, I cannot remember exactly what the rom name was, I think it started 4... I read some threads and tried some methods such as downloading the HD2 rom from the hTc website via entering my S/N number. Then I put that on the SD card and updated it using 7-zip.. changing the file name to "leoimg...." after a minute of updating the phone reboot and said it had an error, it reboot again and completed the update. But still i am faced with the striped screens.

Hi, how do I get my stock rom? When I connect the usb cable to the phone it automatically shows this striped screen on the phone. The phone does not sync with the computer. I believe the phone was set to storage card when connected to the pc. But i cannot access the storage card via the phone. I access the storage card using a multi card reader.

When you download from the HTC site, you'll get an exe file. You can try to run it from your pc, connect device to pc (still in bootloader screen ie striped screen) when serial changes to usb then run the exe file.
If that doesn't work then Right click and extract the exe file to your pc. Then take the RUU_signed.nbh file, rename that to LEOIMG.nbh and copy to root of sd card (formatted to FAT32). Then flash as you described.

I tried to connect using usb cable, when I connect it on the bootloader screen the white stripe goes from "serial" to no text just white stripe. I ran the ROM downloaded from hTc site, but when it comes up with an connectioin error.
I am running Windows 7, I could not find a Windows Mobile Sync that's compatible with Windows 7. I tried the RUU_signed.nbh file, renamed to LEOIMG.nbh and copied to root of sd card - formatted to FAT32 but at first it updates then restarts after a minute. It says there's an error, it restarts again and continues with the update and everything says "ok" but when I restart it when the update is finished, still I have the bootload screen?

Try moving your usb cable to a new port, preferably one at the rear of your pc ie with direct link rather than one at the front or a hub.
The sync software for Windows 7 is Windows Mobile Device Centre, but you won't be able to make a connection if you're in bootloader mode.

I did what you said by inserting usb cable into a different usb port. It started installing the driver "QUALCOMM CDMA TECHNOLOGIES MSM" Now on the white stripe it says "USB".
So I ran both "RUU_Leo_HTC_WWE_1.48.405.2_Radio_Signed_15.28.50.07U_2.05.51.05_2_Ship"
AND
"RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship"
But after about 8% it turns red and says error. On the phone it says "Upgrade ROM code error Please try again" on the green stripe.

Yes, this is correct. When I enter my S/N number in the hTc website it gives just the one option to download "ROM UPGRADE FOR HTC HD2". This is the ROM i'm using, I am correct in assuming this is my stock ROM?

I can't see from distance what's going wrong, but based on the fact you have/use a correct stock ROM based on your S/N and you have try both installation possibilities (over ActiveSync and over SD-card) and both failed
I'm out of Idea for the moment.

I appreciate the help everyone has given me so far, thanks. Still I am having no luck getting it to load up to the windows mobile screen.
I bought this phone used, It came unlocked. When It was loading properly it appeared unbraded as there were no network carrier logos on start up screen. I am not sure if this phone is factory unlocked or was locked to a carrier.
Should I try the T-mobile ROM on it? Also I have been reading the treads trying to find a solution for the past 7 hours now LOL. I had read that this phone can run WP7 and Android.
Will i be able to get the phone working on any of those OS without having to put the WM6.5 stock ROM on it? Or do I need the stock rom for this phone to work to make the other OS to work?

- your stock ROM version tels a lot. your device is factory unlok. and x.xx.405.x stock ROM are English stock ROM's
- No sir, don't install a T-Mous stock ROM, it aren't the same.
- Yes you can use/install Android or even WP7 on this device.
- but first of all we need to set it working again.
Ow, I just think about one thing. When you flashed over your SD-card witch SD-card dit you used? (size)
Most recommendation are the 2GB.
8GB and bigger gives some trouble.

I flashed the rom using 2gb micro sd card, which came with the phone. I also tried with a 4gb sd card, still same result - stuck on bootload.
