Here's a new build of 23518, New email works and it has Office 2010 built in. New LEO 2.02 dialer, no more scroll bar. All seems to work but can't try the conference call until tomorrow. No Video Call with this version. Need some feedback on the builds, please.

I hope someone can tell me how the battery usage is on this rom. I'm currently not in the position to flash this for some weeks.
I have tried many 2.18 based roms and they all drain my battery....
Will check it today. I just took mine off the charger and will time it with my normal usage through the day. Hadn't noticed anything worse than usual with it but hadn't really checked.

I have a few problems. I flashed it three times to be sure. I didn't even get the home screen to show up until I locked then unlocked the device.
The Home screen will not show all the panels. I used the Home Screen Customizer and the cHome editor and they still will not show up. The panels that won't show up are music, photos, favorites, phone, voicemail and calendar.
I also keep getting the time zone selector at random and everytime I restart the phone. It also seems like some programs aren't maintaining their settings but that may just be a fluke.
I'm thinking of redownloading but just wanted to check and see if anyone else is having these issues.

Verified bug, will attempt to sort it tonight. Also Opera Mini still isn't working but will get it working. What programs are not saving settings??

It seems like it's just Windows Live based programs. I keep having to log in to Hotmail and Messenger. I only have to reenter my password though.
I forgot to mention that holding the power button does not bring up the turn phone off dialog.

Sounds good. I am glad to see another rom that doesn't include Manila. Manila is great but for me less is more sometimes.
Honestly, the only feature of Manila I really like is the facebook integration with my contacts. Even that is something I can easily live without.

Sorry for the delays but I crashed my hard drive and had to rebuild all my files. I am back to where I was and still am trying to figure Runcc out as that is the last bug i haen't figured out. Now have a working 28011 system but for the boot problem. Off for 2 days so will be tracking it down.

With Altell you have to replace the last "#" with hitting the send or talk button.
So you should be able to type "##3282 [TALK]" and it should work.

Take a look in the first post under notable features. Yes, this one does work with the CDMA Titan (Mogul) for sprint.

I'm working on an xml file to load sprints settings which should fix any mms problems. I have an alltel file readily available if you do not have sprint. If you have another carrier please let me know.
It has an application called start clean which erases info such as recent programs on every restart, it's not a bug, it's suppose to do that

You should be able to from with in the app under settings > system.
I'm using sprint. MMS isn't a necessity for me, but it's good to have.

I keep getting passwords or user name errors when i try to use Outlook and gmail with this ROM. Anyone having this problem?
I think we will have BT turn off problem if the driver is not from Touch. I will hold off on the ROM until this is cleared.

anyone know how to install and use opera mini using this ROM? I'm having problems downloading and installing it.
OK, can someone answer my question about the difference between the Custel 1.1 and dcd Rom? Is one better, more stable, faster? have more features, what? I'm afraid I'm still learning terms and am not familiar with such high level software. Also what is the procedure / process to install either if these programs? Thanks in advance.

A newer build...just want to make sure it is ready for general relase.
Installed, so far data and activesync look the goods. Ill test GPS etc over my lunch break.
Some different program icons...what do you think?
Same for me... Data, activesync, and basic functionality looking good so far. A couple of big pluses for me - memory use is only about 33%. It was above 50% on NRG's rom with TF3D 2 (that's not meant as any kind of negative towards NRG, I love his newest rom too, just a comment). And Weather Watcher works correctly. On all other cooked roms I've tried Weather Watcher appears "zoomed out".

I just flashed with this rom and checked the date. It said rom date is 03/14/09 was wondering maybe you just forgot to change the date?

A small problem (with a solution). You can't add file explorer as a favorite anywhere in the first two rows of favorites. Or more acurately, you can add it, but it won't launch. The solution is explained in post #500 here:

Go to tools...and in there is a nifty little app to change it.
Not sure what you mean how it works. I believe it is there for apps that use so they can auto rotate.

Regarding the GSensor thing, I was expecting "it is there for apps that use so they can auto rotate" but it is not working for all of the apps. it works for the calculator program but so far calculator is the only program that rotates as it should. I wish my Garmin XT would rotate .. is there any whitelist thing where I need to enter the information of Garmin XT ?
I will keep on testing this ROM and update.

You can use the G-Config program to add programs to the whitelist, available here. Makes adding applications a breeze, hit add new app, open the app and put the stylus in and reset. Works real nice with tf3d too

Was hoping to see the new start menu (the unpopular one, is seems, but the new one) and it wasn't there...is there a fix or cab to have that?

Will this ROM be stable enough for daily use?...I tried the Test 2 and still a little buggy which is fine considering it is still very beta. But had to flash 2 hrs after to a different ROM due to screen kept freezing whenever a voicemail was coming through also MSN widgets were also still a little buggy. Either way I will flash to check it out but I hope to find a stable 6.5 that I can use daily.

Release Sunday Morning
Ok everyone, this ROM will finally be uploaded for download on Sunday morning by noon it looks like. Took the extra time to work out a couple issues with the updated keyboard and last minute updates on this first release.
Thanks for update I have been refreshing for a couple hours, look forward to trying it tomorrow, was hoping to have something to play with tonight, but all good things come to those who wait.
Remember to post some screen shots.. Can't wait..

Running awesome for me as well. Only issues.....Msn weather issue, can pick my city but wont go past that screen and bottom menu bar is all white.
Also if you have any text messages or email and reboot is says you have no new messages. Other then that this Rom is fast stable and impressive....great work.

I have also noticed the MSN weather issue. Two things you can do, soft reset, or close out of MSN weather using task manager, then re-open and works fine. Will check into the text issue, I dont recall having that problem yet. Have you read or listened to the voice mail, before you reboot? If so, I can see why it would say "no new messages" Let me know

No problem with missed call or voicemail notification, Just text and email say no new messages if you reboot you could have 10 or 15 new emails before you reset and after it says no new messages. No big woop..... Still a fantastic ROM. Thanks

Sure,
Report of flahing this rom.
flashed trough SD card.
Did a hard reset after flash.
First boot:
Setup seems to take a long time,
Customizing started.
Second boot:
Settings for "vodafone".
Third boot:
Disabled default WM 6.5 interface (sorry, i really don't like it).
Changed the keyboard layout to `Touch Pro'
Installed SPB Mobile Shell 2.1. Working fine
Restarted device.
Installed Opera Mobile. Working fine
Installed Opera mini. (could you replace Java with a version wich you don"t alway have to allow a connection for ervery page you visit?)
Restored contacts with PIM backup.
Restarted device.
Installed "diamond Tweak 0.53"
Made some adjustmends like disable threaded sms and enlarged the ammount of memory for gdi and file cache.
Set up my email account.
Installed Slide 2 Unlock 2 1.52. Working fine
Installed "PDAVIET's HTC audiomanager VGA". Working fine
Tested HTC E100 remote. Working. Even in standby mode.
Tested bluetooth headset. Working.
Installed SPB Watcher.
Increased the sensitivity of the screen.
Restarted device.
Installed File explorer extension.
And finally tested IGO08. Also working fine.
Everything works, but i must say that it does feel kinda slow sometime.
You've done a amazing job. If you could find a way to increase the speed of this rom, it would be amazing.

I am having a small issue in texts and email list. From the windows home screen if I select either texts or email and view the lists of messages, I can not scroll up or down by using the up or down button's until after I click on a message to open it then close back out of it. Anyone else with this issue?
Otherwise so far everything is working great. Exchange mail is working perfectly, Gps is good, no issuse's with anything else so far.

Edit, the keyboard is not optimised for touch pro, and also there's delay when typing on my physical keyboard. I guess there's a fix somewhere in the forum.
Strangely enough I have no hardware keyboard delay problem on my Touch Pro. I've found another bug, rather in TF3D2, but it doesn't appear in WM6.1 TF3D2 versions. When I set a wallpaper and then rotate the device, wallpapers rotates, but upper semitransparent taskbar (?) shows shifted wallpaper fragment. In other TF3D2 editions upper bar is not transparent, so there's no problem there.
But thanks for great ROM. For me the best of all WM6.5 available.

I also had the same message. I just unzipped the NBH file only then used the Raphaelwrapper.exe from another rom to load it.
I am also having an issue with the incoming calls display. When i receive a call the light will flash but it takes forever for the display to load up the screen where i can accept or reject the call. When it finally does come up their appears to be two dialer's. One flashes very quickly (assuming this is the standard dialer) then the actual dialer comes up. I hope this makes sense, I don't know what the proper names for the programs are. I have soft reset and the call screen come up a little quicker but still having the issue.
I am not sure why it says the loader is a virus. I got it from xda. I will remove it from next release. I will be updating to the newest kitchen build and it should fix a lot of the small bugs that where reported. I will check evey bug posted in the new build. If any are still there I will fix it. I will update kitchen and release new version tonight after work. I will release touch pro and Htc fuze versions. I will have versions with TF3d 2, TF3D, TF3D HD, no TF3D and SPB Mobile Shell version. Thank you for your feed back.
Very nice. I installed 6.5 21198 yesterday and thought that I miss the TF3d. I like having the pictures of my favorite people I call. I also like having the new start menu from 6.5. So thank you for your hard work.

Active sync works like a charm (couldn't with DaGs ROM).
gaaah I can't install it...I've been trying to search the forum but i can't find anything useful. I've tried several versions of spl but it hangs on 1% and restarts...which spl are you using when you're flashing? I had the 2.03 original rom before flashing to the other 6.5-rom

Description: ROM based on the last WM6.5. It has rhodium's manila, and I removed unuseful stuff (like volume control). The SMS/MMS button is modified to change the accent on the last letter while writing (e.g. if you have the word "perche" and you click the button, it will become "perchè"). great job! Thanks a lot for having developed a WM 6.5 version which let me use the sliding keyboard (I'm italian and the other ROMs don't recognize the numeric row).
A little question: why did you disable the "Windows default" today plugin? I would like to use it instead of the TF3D2 which is very cool but very heavy....
Well it is totally taken out from the rom. You should look for a cab for it.

I've just flashed this Rom yesterday. Works fine! I have a little problem on the contact tab. When I go to All People, and click it to start scrolling, sometimes it crashed, sometimes it hang. very fast Rom.

I've the same problem. Also, trying to launch the browser from the TF3D2 tab it doesn't work....
i've added a fix for the rom to the first post.
I removed opera to let you make your choice, for that the globe doesn't work. But you can remap the globe to IE or install opera
YouTube Error
When I click on youtube - I'm getting this error -"There is not enough free storage space to run YouTube. Maximum free storage space required is 8mb."
it works for me. have you at least 8mb of free storage as it tells you?
Fix cab
Fix cab for all people (Contact Tab) works fine. I soft reset my device & try youtube again, it works now. Thnx for the fix cab.
