Install a correct SPL before flashing this ROM. You can find them in the WiKi. SPL OliNex suggested.
Before flashing this ROM you HAVE to install Hard-SPL 1.90.OliNex (thank you so much!!!), who have already done this can go directly to the FLASH step.
Install a correct RADIO (WM6.1 compatible), which can be installed before the ROM without any problem.

T.i.R. v8R + PDM 4.0.1 Testing ATM
I'm running this ROM right now and just want to say WOW! Thanks for this, it's awesome. Only problem is, doesn't matter which version of Windows Live Messenger I grab through the PDM link on the phone, neither will run after install, so if you could help out with getting that going I'd be a happier little Shotty.....
Everything else is smooth as, and the radio you suggested is a treat on the Optus Australia network.
Oh, and thanks for fixing up the Rapidshare link. Your efforts are very much appreciated.

I'm testing the rom one day, I can assure you that is very stable and very fast.
I recommend this rom.

ok i hv Shadowline 6.5 on my device
some guys say that shadowlines rom is crazy slow but on my toy running smooth after align.
lets have look at Tom codons rom
sound quite smooth and stable and got abt 320mb momery free as on the other side by shadowline is that about 250mb
is it wid TF3d or widout??????

Oh and one more thing.. In the manila 2.5 the picture tab has a new rotation option, wich work VERY slow on every 2.5 rom i have tried?!? why is this? i mean the touch 2 (leo) does not have that much better specs then our topaz?

I really don't know why someone would be a ROM cook. I seriously couldn't be bothered with the hassle of ignorant posters as yourself. It have been 2 weeks now and Dutty has release 3 Roms for Topaz with a new thread for each one.
He is an mod here and HTCpedia but prefers to store his roms there (Its his roms, his choice).
I dont see what the problem is? Arguable 2 of the best rom cooks are on that site Tom Codon and Duttythroy but neither are forcing anyone to move. Why can you not be a member of both sites?
I guess with users like you lowering the tone at xda and it becoming fairly huge I can see why they are on another site.

The Leo ROM is from HTC Leo which is still to be released. It contains manila 2.5 where as the other rom in manila 2.1. The HTC Leo has a more powerful processor and has some have pointed out some of the current leo rom that have been cooked are running a bit slow on the topaz.

I think thats a problem of hardware acceleration, that won't really work with topaz by now. When there's a final Version built for our topaz in Oktober everything will (hopefully) be fine.

I'm a bit confused. This rom comes from leo rom but with 2.1 manila? so...What is the difference between Leo 21869 and Topaz 21869 rom?

It doesn't come from Leo ROM, it is made to look more like Leo stock ROM. It's a Topaz ROM with Sense 2.1.

Been setting my phone up and using this ROM for a little while. Got to say it's the best i've used yet. Opera seems to work particularly well in this build. Just a heads-up for those wanting to install their own wallpaper.cab created using HDWall, you will have to disable the default wallpaper first...
..."Disable the default wallpaper for the Home Tab in Manila v2.1 by removing the data found at HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\HomeBackgroundPath (don't delete the key, just the valuedata)"
I dont see touchflo options to disable vibration. Anyone?
