Confused. - Droid Eris Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

HTC Desire....
Whats the correct name for the Bravo? [Its looking like a tweaked nexus design] But from what i can gather its called the desire.
Cant be the same desire as the droid?

Ya i guess HTC switched the name on us, but I really find no problem with it. Besides it's the Droid "Eris" to everyone else...

Ours is DesireC. Essentially, Desire CDMA. Hero has a Hero (G2) and a HeroC (CDMA Hero). Our files on our phone call the phone "DesireC"

HTC Hero Recovery

Hi guys and gals, I am new here at these forums. Well, not really. I've been reading the HTC hero HTC Hero section of this forum for the past few months now.
Anyway, I am planning to get a HTC Hero, and am also planning to flash it with modaco's custom ROM. I was wodering, if anything goes horribly wrong with the flashing, is there a way to reflash the stock ROM? Like the iphone - you can have it completely messed up but get it working again through DFU.
Is there such a thing as DFU mode or similar on the HTC Hero?
Thanks.

[Q] Off topic ReZound, on topic HTC

Just a quick question, my friend has a htc phone, he has the evo 4g.
Is the unlocking process the same on all htc phones. For example, does he just fastboot and find the long key like i would or will it be different. Any help appreciated. Hees new to android but know of all the things you can do with s-off and root. He wants to join into the fun and stuff. He is specifically asking for my help because he knows about the program that i made.
I haven't the slightest idea, but Id check the evo forums.

Essentially you are right, but remember HTC Dev is not preferred due to tracking potential and warranty worries. If you're going S-off these methods vary phone by phone, and some phones do not even need Dev Unlock to accomplish this. Research each HTC phone's forum.
Assuming you specifically mean the ol' EVO, not the new LTE, you can use Revolutionary:

Rights before yous kick your tash's saying this is in the wrong place, I know and I'm sorry but I can't find anything on here on my mobile
I was just wondering if anyone would be able to direct me to the HTC EVO 3D roms. I'm looking for one that is similar to the dark angel one for Samsung galaxy s2 (don't quote me on that I could be wrong!)
Cheers for any help!
If you have a GSM Evo3D, this is the place where I get all my roms to try out:

new forum for htc desire 610?

hey guys, i brought a htc desire 610 on contract on Tuesday after smashing my moto g's screen in an ironing board incident (don't ask ) and i instantly looked on here for a forum so I could root my phone, im aware that the 610 and the 816 have similar specs, and run the same software, (and were revealed at MWC 2014) so if someone could point me in the direction of a forum for the 610 or where to start a new one? I have came from a rooted moto g running slimkat latest nightly and have done a lot of rooting and development before, on previous phones such as the ZTE skate (A.K.A orange monte carlo, where i managed to get it from gingerbread to kitkat so yeah im not used to all this htc bloatware crap, and want to root to get rid of it, thanks for any help
I'm in need of support for mine too. I'm Having lots of issues with it. The 3G connection being my number one headache.
