So, after a bit work working and jerking, i actually got my Nook to show everything on the market; sad thing is, i can't say exactly what step did it. But i know overall what i tried, so i can at least mention here...
The first thing first - 2.2.11 and 2.2.7 are out of date. The newest is 2.3.2, and there are some great customized versions here:

From here, i did a couple of things:
1) Did the standard clear market cache, force close, clear framework data, force close
2) Mounted /system and pushed Vending
3) Fixed permissions (on this, i went overboard, and basically did a chmod 777; but i am sure it doesn't really need that)
4)reboot
5) try to install it a few times (each install failed)
6) Use market enabler, with t-mobile (US) (i ended up buying the key, so i can fake it always on boot)
7) a couple more reboots in there
All said and done, the themed market finally showed up, and even better, EVERYTHING that was once hidden is there. Flash, Angry Birds, Dolphin.. all accessible. Even better, market.android.com now shows the nook, and doesn't say that my device is not able to run whatever. The website itself shows:

Anyway, ill try to answer questions as people have them, but it looks like with the newest market, and (maybe) the faker, we can get full market access.
Well not sure how to get it working, did the easy try with just trying to install the .apk , but it says something about a problem parsing the file or something. I am new to android so not sure how to do the other stuff you talked about. I have root explorer btw.
Hmm.. when trying to install, i didn't run into any parsing errors - it just said it couldn't install.
For Froyo only?
Saw the framework data clear cache which is not seen in Eclair. Just checking.
I found this app that makes the market work with all the apps showing up. It's called MarketAccess. I couldn't find it in the android market, but you can download it here h t t p://amip.org.ru/android/MarketAccess. I have been using the T-Mobile US setting and it seems to work.
Interestingly the site claims MarketAccess is a complete rewrite of MarketEnabler. Not sure whether that's a good thing or not (yet). However, the site does detail why the rewrite was done and what was changed to a degree. Sounds good anyway from the bits I read.

W00t have had everything but flash in market (always had to sideload) updated market, cleared stuff then faking T-Mobile worked for me

Lol sorry worded it weird normally can find birds an such but never flash, after updating and faking T-Mobile I could.

I bought MarketEnabler (donation key) and it appears to open up some apps, but not others. I'll try this one and see if it's any better.

Nice, really better and fits better in CM ^^.
If you press install, it lists directly in 'my apps'. With previous I had to press update or install multiple times and sometimes just had to close it and open it again.
That seems fixed.

Yup. It looks nice and it's a bit slower than previous, but the last part hopefully will change when google will launch the final version. Meanwhile we can give it a try or we can use the old market.

The market will automatically update as it is released, but not many people seem to have received the update.. Installing the .apk will give you the new market and put you at no disadvantage to people who wait for it to automatically download the update.

Ever since I updated WWF after the TW update, I get an error connecting to the servers and can't play any games. I have tried a forced close and clearing cache. anyone else having problems with this? If so, does anyone have any solutions?

I played last night and everything worked great, even got push notifications for the first time. WWF definitely needs a paid version for android to get rid of those annoying adds.
That and I can receive chat messages but I can't send them.

after doing the update from the market, i was able to send messages. I couldn't do anything without it FC or giving me network error message from the version that was loaded with Touchwiz.
How did you guys get the version from the market to update the TW version? When i go out to the Market "Open" is the only option I get.
when you go into settings>applications what version do you have installed? I am running 3.61
Mine shows up as 3.59. Funny thing is that the Market version says 3.61 but "open" is the only option I get.

Try clearing the cache for your market and see if it will come up
Mine is version 3.59 as well.
Same issue when I go to the market.
I just emailed the dev.

That did not work for me.
I removed my stock version and installed it again from the market. I pulled and zip the apk. Extract and install from from your sdcard.
I can't try it right now, but I will check it out later. Thanks for taking the time!

Naked, work was blocking the download. After getting impatient I tried logging into the Android market on my PC and forcing an install on my tablet. It worked like a charm! I am now running 3.61. I am testing it now, but I have yet to get an error.

Sweet, glad you got it working. Good idea on doing the web page market and forcing the upgrade. I'll keep that in mind in the future.
I have seen often programs not able to update properly when they are located /system/app. Since the it was part of the upgrade to TW, they have it located there.
The install from Market worked great for me as well.
Never knew you could do that.

TripleTapper, can you please explain more? Now do you "force install" from the market? It just tells me that my Nook Color is incompatible with the app, and the buttons are greyed out.

I just opened the Market using the browser on my PC. When I do that and search for Words for Friends I click on install. It then gives me an option to install onto my various Android devices by selecting it from a pull down. My Galaxy Tab comes up as Samsung GT-P7510.
Words has been working flawlessly now! : )

Are you still on the Portugese rom or one of the more recent I9205XXUDNF2 release for Spain, etc
Have given up on getting an Australian OTA release and need to move up so my Mega will work with a Google smart watch.
Does everything work? 3G, GPS etc? Some contradictory posts about the Portugese rom out there.
No need, just took the plunge. Installed the Spanish version off SamMoblie, just followed the instructions on the page, too easy after realising I needed to enable usb debugging.
Worked like an OTA update, kept all my apps, settings, Apex layout etc. Still can't believe it was that easy.
Now to see if my Lg G Watch works with it

Are you having problems with making and receiving calls? After a day or two I stop being able to make or receive calls and have to reboot to get it working. You getting anything like this with the Portuguese release?

TBH I don't make calls but my wife sometimes uses my phone and it has not caused any problems. She would soon let me know if it didn't work I'm sure! lol
Time for a big update here. I got home last night and played around with my new phone for a couple of hours.
Once it was done restoring apps I hit the home button and guess what, it had restored Themer from the market.
It works 100 perfectly fine. The only issue I had was trying to go in to choose a theme.
It kept giving me a pop up that my device wasn't supported. To get past that I hit OK and instead of hitting a category just clicked on the themes pane to the right. I was able to scroll down and select one, and install it, everything is perfect.

Interesting. I'm not sure if using "Themer" is variant specific on the G3 (can't see why it would be), but it isn't working on mine. When I use Google Play in the browser, the G3 isn't one of the highlighted devices for remote install of the app. When I look up "Themer" via Google Play on my phone, it doesn't even show up as an option for download.
I know the devs are working on it, but I just wanted to speak up and let folks know that "Themer" might not be working on all G3s.

They are going to make it available, if you read this thread and the other ones you'll see they replied they have a g3 on the way. As I said before, mine installed because of the Backup Restore feature when you sign into a new phone.
When I backed up everything from my Nexus 5 I backed this one up to and was also able to restore it that way.
Other than not being able to go through and look at the newest themes because of the pop up, the only other issue I've seen in a week of using this is the previews when you're picking a theme aren't full screen.

It should be supported soon, as mentioned above, it was removed due to many bugs being reported from the G3. Once it is stable we will release it back onto the Play Store

What bugs? I've been using it since the 17th with only one bug, the previews aren't full size.

I have the same problem on my vivo xplay 3s (that has a 2k screen to).
When i click on the category "newest" or "trending" i"m getting the popup..
But i'm not able to get the theme's on the right side so i could click on them and install them..
