You should just take care not to select a stock firmware with branding.
Open versions should work.
Flashing in Odin is very simple.
Just use Samfirm_reborn_0362 to download in binary nature.
That will give you all the files needed which you have to put in the Odin fields according to their name (Ap... into AP and so on).
Btw my T825 is working very well on latest LOS18.1 by @Awesometic .
